My incest comment was due to the fact that if Adam and Eve were the first two, in order for a population to start, a lot of brothers and sisters and cousins had to have "gotten it on" if you know what I mean

 

So even though Adam and Eve getting it ON was maybe not incest, what happened after? Since Adam and Eve had a finite life, there must have been incest in the population tree... and probably lots of it.

 

I only brought this up since I had a heated argument with someone a long time ago on the topic where he was maintaining that the bible has no contradictions what so ever. Not being a bible expert (never read it and he knew), I guess I really got on his nerves since he simply did not have an answer for this! The argument started off by him saying the bible frowns upon incest (again, a fact that I am not sure of but he brought it up and it worked perfectly to my advantage!!!)

It is not only the ignorant peasants who do this kind of stuff, but also the very wealthy who want to not dissipate their wealth. Keeping the money in the family is the primary concern.

 

Nevertheless, your snide comment is not appreciated. I tested in the 180 IQ range in grade school and in the high 130 IQ range as I finished high school. Only a Sovietized mentality who would consider me a cretin.

Some time before the Moderators tried to teach us some discipline, or rather ways and means to behave in public. That is perfectly understandable since people who are coming to this forum although Armenians, by origin and/or nationality, and non-Armenians alike come from different walks of life, and having different opinions is quite understandable too. All moderated forums have one shortcoming. They are free and liberal as far as, free and liberal the moderator is. So.

If we all agree that talking about sex is something that is part of our everyday life, than I don’t see reason why we should not talk about sex + using dirty words (blowjob is not dirty, and there is nothing dirty between man and woman when it is related with sex).

Those of us who disagree or do not want to talk about sex won’t be punished. I think most Armenian men are sexist, especially young unmarried professionals. And there is nothing wrong with that . Same goes about Armenian women. Pretending that this is not so is pure hypocrisy.

I would suggest to the Moderator to open a new subsection called “SEX”. We already know pretty much about many of the members of the Forum, so in order to keep minors away from this section, moderators can issue special Password or something.

And one final word about those who are too concerned about talking “dirty” in public. That is the most ridiculous argument. Yes, in the States there are some rules of conduct be it in your work place, radio, TV and any other public activity, but on the other hand, kids, minors, sexually vulnerable people, maniacs, psychos etc. are “one click away” from the world of ****o, generated in mass in the Holly USA.

Hi dear Marco

AS I read your story I would say it is hard breaking. I totally understand your situation I once was in situation were I denied to a guy who was not an Armenian because of not having my parents blessing. But if you take it from the girls point of view that is a very devastating and tough dicision to make. I know if there is a love their should be a fight for it but sometimes it is awfully hard to fight against for it. Specially in Armenian culture if you are going against your parents decision then most of the times you are not exceptable back to the family. I dont think any one of us would like to go through those stages. As being an Armenian I respected my parents decision and of course was heaertbroken but at the same time I told him the reality he was mad and upset I guess that's how will everyone feel who was told the horrible news but I told him if there is a true love then he can give me a time untill I solve my problems with parents. It is been almost 3 years that I haven't seen him or heard from him but I still belive he is out there waiting for me. So my answer for this question would be she should have gave time to her parents and specially if you had intimate realationship with her ,she should have respected that and I think if you really loved her you would have wait untill everything was figured out. But from my experince I learned that We as human beings are not perfect either your Armenian, Iranian, American... we all make mstakes but the heartbreaking part is when some mstakes are can't be fixed. Marco keep being strong there are so many betrayel in our life but what else can you do? If something happens maybe because it is happening for a REASON!!
