The "diminishing syndrome" which Zareh discusses regarding anything Turkish is also used against fellow Armenians. If someone is over 50 and has no grey hair, your fellow Armenians will come up to you and state "That is an excellent dye job." If you are over 50 and look like you are barely 30, your fellow Armenians will ask who is your plastic surgeon. They do not realize that some people have found that the ways of the "East" are more conducive to health and youthfullness than more basterma, soujouk, and more cigars. In some Armenian circles, if your family is not wealthy it will constantly be thrown in your face. If your family residence is in the "golden ghetto" of a economically diverse community, these fellow Armenians will not praise your parents for their support of diversity by continuing to live in a economically and racially diverse community, but diminish that decision. These Armenians think that they are Northern European aryans. Don't they look in the mirror? Armenians just love to belittle others, Armenian and otherwise. So it is no wonder that they can not see that Turks have accomplished anything worthwhile. Concerning the Genocide, I have yet to see a monument honoring the Turks who saved Armenians similar to monuments in Israel honoring Gentiles who saved Jews during the Holocaust. At the turn of the century eshoo-kloochs who harbored similar feelings as you so tormented the Balkan Turks that when they reached positions of power unleashed all their fury on the Armenians. Dahk-klooch mentality will only bring us more misery. Do you want Turkey to attack Armenia? Do you want to start World War III between Turkey and allies and Armenia and allies? The Tukish government wants EU membership and Turkey and US want to lead the Trans Caucasia. We have bargaining chips that we can use once this war is ended. What they post is not science but pseudo-science. They have already made up their minds. No scientific evidence to the contrary will convince them otherwise. One can not reason with a fanatic. What your government leaders are doing re: the Armenian Genocide is just fueling this irrational hatred. Irregardless of what a small number od Armenian revolutionaries did, the Young Turk triumvirate clearly planned to eliminate the whole Armenian population from Anatolia. You Turks should "bite the bullet," as the Germans did, and bring this whole matter to a close by accepting the whole truth.
