As a matter of fact, I can't think of any Bergman film that is romantic. He's too cynical to be romantic. You're right, it was a mistake. There was something sadistically romantic about it, not to mention perverse, but I loved it! I think I kept on insisting that you watch it. Vertigo Roman Holiday Moonstruck Brief Encounter, British 1945 with Trevor Howard Pretty Woman I forgot all about Moonstruck, I love that movie! I don't know about Verigo. There isn't much romance there, just obsession and intrigue, but both characters didn't really develop any romantic connection. But I guess to some it may seem romantic. That is a good one "Shall We Dance" is a very romantic movie as well. It's very charming and tastefully done. I saw it in the theaters with my mom because she heard Michael Buble singing in the movie and wanted to see it and I was reminded of the movie again recently when it was on TV.
