Turkish Propaganda Documentary On Trt Int.

Minutes ago, I was unfortunate enough to come across Turkey's TRT network's International channel while browsing up and down my satellite. The program on air was a "documentary" film "chronicling" the history of crimes, wars and terrorist activities of Armenians, the Dashank Party, ASSR and ROA against the multitude of Turkic nations, primarily Turkey and the "ancient, peaceful country" of Azerbaijan (the last of which was the War of Karabakh started by the ROA in the 1990's) The experts on hand ranged from the head of Azerbaijan's National Archives to an ordinary Turkish "eyewitness". According to the film, the violence and hate of the Armenians against "their brothers" dates back well into the end of the 19th century and the "rebellions" initiated by the formation of the "genocidal" Dashnak Party. In 1905, for example, the Armenians of Baku went about (intact quote) "massacring the Azeribaijani and destroying publik hospitals, libraries, office buildings." Here and there, mind you, it threw out familiar terms and numbers like "thousands killed in 3 days" and "entire villages eradicated", only this time with Armenians at fault. Something else that struck me very much was the film's eased use of the term "genocide". Their count numbers in the tens and referred to multiple events throughout Azerbaijan & Turkey. One analyst said: "remembering that genocides in Baku, Kharabakh, Nakhchivan and Erzerum were manily organized by the Dashanks, the next few genocides in Azerbaijan were by Bolshevik Armenians". So in a way, one Genocide here, one Genocide there, and so forth. Finally, they featured footage of Armenian POWs who confessed that the Artsakh liberation was really an unnecessary "invasion" from the ROA.

Now, everyone is well familiar with Turkey's Pillar of Propaganda. I also know that none of this is news to anyone HERE. Yet, I just had to say something after seeing that ficticious hogwash.

There are others in the world who will view such information and accept it at face value.

Those others couldn't care less for them or for us, only interested parties will stop and watch it whose minds are already made up one way or another, the rest will keep surfing up and down. smile.gif

I never said their knowledge mattered ;), but personal tolerance for the odor of feces is stricly apolitical.

Documentary denying Armenian Genocide being shot in Turkey

With a purpose to “refuse statements” on the Armenian Genocide a documentary titled “A Big Lie” is being shot in Turkey on the basis of Russian and Armenian archives. The documentary will be afterwards translated into German, English, Russian and Arabian. It will consist of 6 parts, the first of which will be shown on April 24 via a state TV channel, reports Yerkir.

A friend of mine, who is an odar, once made a comment to me that had a certain impact upon my perception of things. I had asked him to rip a european DVD I had in my possession with the famous denialist "documentary" Sari Gelin. I had not informed him of the content, nor the reasons for which it was in my possession and to my knowledge he did not have much prior background on the issue. Inevitably, while making the copy & testing to make sure it works for region1 players, he watched the entire video. His comment to me simply: "this is pretty bad propaganda". In other words he saw right through it. I'm not sure that we give enough credit to some odars who run across some of these purported "documentaries". BS smells no matter which way you look at it.
