It's so true ! If I remember well,... it really starts when the daughter is 15/16. may be cause she really starts to be a woman, she takes her mother's place, the new generation. At this moment, the mother's got the " power ", she works, she has kids, house, husband, she's not too old, still nice, but... she sees her daughter grow up, and little by little come to take her place... and it's difficult to let someone replace you ! But the daughter is not a poor innocent, she " pushes " her mother, cause she has to take her place too !!! It's difficult for both, cause there's a lot of LOVE between a mother and a daughter ! (it's sweet, I use to love to be kissed by my Mum, and use to love to kiss her, and at the same time, sometimes she makes me wonder !!!) I think the relation is a bit better when the daughter becomes a mother, and lives... a bit away from her mom. ( I say a "bit better", lol )

Sure, kids change relationship, but only for a while, cause it's a new organisation in the house, someone new is living at home, and he only depends of you, it takes a good year by kid, for parents adapt. Usually, the mother takes care for the baby, it takes time in a day which always has 24hours, it's hard when the woman continues to work. That's why, (I think), it's good, if possible, the woman stops to work. While the father has to understand this moment, to wait and still love his wife. May be it's a compromise... if both wanted kids

No Anoushig, it doesn't bother me if they have their father's name, I have my father's name, it's normal ! But I wanted them to have both names, for to have an armenian name too, that's all ! Here in France, kids can have the 2 names, and when they marry they can choose the one they want, or only have their husband's or wife's name. I'm not sad for that, I just think it's a bit MACHO to refuse the kids to have their mother's name, do u understand wot I mean ?

I've nothing against muslims, only integrists are bad and call us "IMPURS", I've heard women genital mutilation only with black-african muslims, it's current today in Africa, not with others. But I live near a naturist city " Le Cap D'Agde" and you can see a lot of arabs behind rocks, trying to see women, it's an attaction like if u visit " La Tour Eiffel ". The point im trying to make is, that in the time of prophet muhammed, it was a COMMON thing for girls who reached their puberty to get married to men. as soon as a girl started her mestruation she was considered, and became a women-all this teenage crap is new and was never their before. this is a fact, not my own theory to prove something to myself. Exactly, but it was the same for armenians girls too, my great gran aunt has been married at 13, his sister my great mother at 15 and my gran mother at 16, and she had my mother at 17. Today, when I look my daughters who are 14 and 16 I can't see them in this situation. My ex-sister in law who lives in Morocco, has been married at 14, she had his first son at 15, he's now 30 and she's just 45, her husband is 7 or 8 years older than her. And if muslims women have to cover from head to toe, it's for to not provoke men's desire, too. Cause it's well known, men are weak... Is it normal ???
