You don't have my option that would say, "I really don't care and I hope everyone dies"?

By the way, she was quite the hottie in her day.

style_images/master/snapback.png

would it be a fun place for you if we all die and you are the only one living?

there was this one episode on twilight zone where someone woke up in a world with no humans.

trees/empty houses/buidlings/cars but no humans around. for the first few mins he enjoyed the freedom, but then he could not take it any longer.

loneliness kills, so think about what you wish for.

Jessie Jackson=> he has blackmailed so many corporations(toyota, pepsi) with the threat of blacks boycotting(playing race card) and recieved millions of $'s for it. that's truly disguisting. they should take all that $ and offer it as scholarship $ to african americans and put jessie jackson in jail.

Getting back to Shiavo, all I have to say is this:

It's an oxymoron at best when a society puts someone like Jack Kevorkian in jail, while they allow someone to starve to death. Why isn't a more humane alternative than starvation 'legal'? I mean, how much more could one suffer than to die of thirst and starvation? It's truly horrible.

And just to clarify - the question here isn't "should she be forced to live, or left to die" - it's obvious now that the choice has been made in favour of the latter. Now the question is "how is she to die?" Starvation? That would be right there at the the tail end of my list, along with flesh-eating disease and drowning in hot cooking oil.

This case is so complicated...you know she's in that condition because she was bulimic and that's why she collapesed in the first place...her pottasium was low and she had a heart attack I believe...not that somone who is bullimic deserves this...but she did this to herself...it's realy horrible....I hope none of us are every put in that position to decide someones life or death...I was there once, and I hope I never have to make that decision again...

all I know is that no matter how old you all are,get a living will filled out so if anything like this happens, our families dont' have to watch us die every day for years and years and fight over what should be done!

poor woman...I still pray that she'll miraculously start talking and that saves her live....

I sure hope she has no idea what is going on....

I could have not put it better Vava jan. I think this whole way that she is being forced to die is just insane.

Unfortunately I have been put in that situation as well and it is a question that I will remember to the rest of my life and it haunts me to this day.

Tom DeLay pulled the plug on his father.

Terri's father pulled the plug on his mother.

It's time to end this hypocrisy and political pandering and allow this woman to die in peace as she requested. Even most Republicans, conservatives, and evangelicals support this stance. The way that Terri's life has been exploited by extremists trying to push their agenda is disgusting. Bush wouldn't even take a minute of time off his vacation when 250,000 people perished in the tsunami, and yet he returned to Washington in the middle of the night to sign a bill that curtailed 19 separate judicial decisions, many of which were given by Republican appointees. Now that he's seen the polls, you can see a total 180 in his stance.. it's rotten to the core.

Way  can’t the husband  just  walk away ?? instead of  having  her starve  to  death ??

her  parents  are more then welling  to  keep  her  alive and... she  has so many that can help

Or is this the only  way  he  can get a  divorce ???

style_images/master/snapback.png

I heard there is life insurance on her...but who knows....after all these years he should just walk away.....unless he's scared of something...

I also heard he used to abuse her and that came out in the xrays after she fell into the coma...who knows so many different things going on...but yes if the parents want to take care of her...he should just walk away.....

I have a feeling that a lot of these things are merely rumours spread by those who have their agendas. It could simply be that he really believes that SHE doesn't want to continue living under these circumstances. I know I've already told my loved ones that if ever, god forbid, I am in a state where I cannot communicate, and I need machinery and/or some medical apparatus to remain alive - than please, pull the plug and let me go in peace. (but obviously, don't let me starve to death!)

I completely agree with you Vava.

Movses, how can he walk away? It's his wife. He can't get a divorce and he can't pretend that she's dead. Because she isn't. Yet. This man has never had a closure about what happened to his wife and can never quite move on with his life until Terri is laid to rest.

Speaking of rumors... and I heard that Jeb Bush apparently wanted to keep Terry alive because for Republicans the sanctity of marriage is more important than one's quality of life.

If her parents want to keep her alive, they should have their wish. The husband can go to court and have the marriage terminated, but then he won't have the $ that was won in the malpractice suit.

Bush, however, is a real hypocrite in this instance. For him and the Republicans in Congress, it is all about politics.
