Mosjan, or Ashot?? See how confusing the multiple lion avatars can get?? Hey there l'il lady! Nice to see you back.
  8. This is a major issue - consumers need to demand more transparent labeling laws. We need to know whether our foods are GM'ed, cloned, or otherwise. Let's label things honestly and let the market forces dictate...
  9. I'm the opposite - I love game meats! The less "mass produced" the better IMO.... So cloning is probably a cheaper alternative to current insemination techniques (neither are very natural) so what's the real difference??
  10. I'm not certain, but I don't think that's what Domino was getting at....
  11. Or he could register for a free dynamic DNS service like: DynDNS. That way he can set his own URL, and not worry about his IP changing....
  12. How many times are we going to have the same BS conversation about the same BS topics? Elle: please note that Hyeforum is not a venue to spread other people's race-based propaganda. We're tired of it. It seems to me if you wanted to have a "discussion", you'd have approached this thread in an entirely different manner.
  13. Site loading takes some time. Probably cause you have a lot of components called in from external locations...
  14. I moved the Armenian American Relations topic temporarily for some clean up. Please people, the fighting and personal attacks are not necessary . The topic will be returned to it's original place once it's cleaned up.
  15. I think Domino's case for the Khmer Rouge is a good one as well. There are other examples that should be discussed...
  16. Good question. By my experience, Genocide in general is not a subject that's covered much in the public school system, at least not until the University levels. Sure during WWII history courses we cover the Holocaust, but coverage is quick and very in-depth. Other Genocides in the 20th century are not covered at all... however, I think things have begun to change since the federal government here as acknowledge the AG as Genocide in no uncertain terms. Recognition has helped in two ways: 1) Raised the profile of the Genocide through related media coverage and 2) Established a higher level of credibility. Armenian associations now have an important tool to leverage in public relations campaigns and in the media. So I suspect that we'll gradually be seeing more programs like the TDSB Genocid history course. And that's a good thing...
  17. Not bad - but slow, and what about ccTLDs? Can you search those?
  18. By the looks of it, your site would be a bit of a challenge to optimize organically as your offerings are VERY diverse, and they all appear on the same page. I'd be curious to know what our new friend here would suggest
  19. Ashot jan, SEO is common and necessary - you can find out most general details on wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Search_engine_optimization If you code your own site, with some basic pointers you can quickly improve your search engine rankings. There are also several forums that have specific up-to-date information on SEO like http://www.webmasterworld.com/ It's can be a significant business endeavor in and of itself - lots of folks are making a living offering seo advice to small/medium sized businesses who don't employ web professionals...
  20. Yes we especially bully those Germans Give me a break - I can't wait to see what the Star prints as letters to the editor. The Star, historically, has not been a big proponent of Armenian issues, always opting for a "balanced" lie, er, I mean, article.
  21. A spammer's (or marketer's) heaven... I don't care what they say about a self-governed wiki "society", I don't think it will work as well with a search engine, as it does wikipedia. There's too much at stake (dollars, not just ego) in the search engine world to have a user base that self regulates....
  22. Nice presentation - do you know when this took place? He's a very eloquent speaker....
  23. hoknats.... it,s 2:30 am here, and I have to read this "j" conspiracy garbage again... puts me in a foul mood.
