None. On another note, I was just downloading something off Kazaa (a pretty big file for my slow dial-up), and it turned out that it was something else... the #$@$# had put the file name wrong to deceive people, and well, I was fooled by it. How should I have known... Goddamnit, at least for music/movies, you can have a preview of it, for programs, you can't, and I really needed this goddamn program. Hrm.. I guess I'm just ranting. I hate people on Kazaa. Most of them are just stupid. I mean, what the hell is the point of deceiving people to download a program that they don't want, and that isn't working in the first place??!?!?!

Thanks Sip. I'm assuming Windows Sound Recorder records up to 60 seconds only...? Hmm

Well said, Sasun. Don't even get me started on England... The entire British empire was built on slavery and colonization. I am not making assumptions. What I'm saying is factual. I am talking about the past, and what the entire country was based upon... Did I even say I approved of the British government's policies? So don't get me started on Blair, cos then this thread will go off-topic. lol, I'm not looking for agreement. I'm looking for knowledgeable debate... Mhmm, is that why thousands of war protesters were rounded up and taken to jail? A cop once told me "yep, you're free to have an opinion and express it, but we will arrest you if you do." That is totally irrelevant. If the Iraqis wanted a change, they would've revolted. Are you telling me that 20+ million Iraqis were scared of Saddam and his minions? Moreover, what the U.S. did were war crimes, no better than Saddam's crimes. Are you proposing that intolerance should be crushed by intolerance? I agree. BUT, I also think that "Mr." Bush is a genocidal maniac too, and he should not remain in power either. Are you telling me he got VOTED in? And where was your United States of Righteousness when thousands of Tutsis were being massacred in Rwanda? And where was U.S.A when our ancestors were being massacred? Are you telling me you stand by the policies of a country that saw the suffering, heard the cries, witnessed the plight of millions of Armenians, and did not interfere? And don't even tell me that that happened a long time ago under a different administration. The same thing happened in Rwanda, and your good ol' U.S.A stood there and watched. Are you telling me you support that? Believe it or not, every person in Iraq has a gun. If the people wanted a revolution, they would've had it a long time ago. Don't tell me they sheepishly followed because they were scared. They don't seem all that scared now...

I agree. I've had only one true friend. Currently, I have none. True friends are hard to find, but that doesn't mean they're not there. And that's my take on this.

I know. But a lot of people do. I wasn't talking about you when I said that; was just making a sideline observation... we do?

There's also Limewire, eMule and Soulseek (for entire albums). I have no problems with Kazaa Lite. I just downloaded a coupla mp3s and NBA Live 2003.

Am I the only one who noticed that this website says it has Armenian MP3s but the files are .rm ? And slightly off-topic, but I thought I'd ask here.... Is there any free software that converts .rm into mp3 format? I hate hate hate .rm files. Plus, I can't burn them on CD and listen to them on the bus. damn... Anyone?

Uhhh, ok... you called them queer - but what did you mean by that? queer as in odd? I don't think odd is used as an insult anymore... Actually, I think it's petty to call people you don't agree with Nazis.. And no, I'm not a Nazi, so don't jump on me. And relax. And I've never watched Seinfeld.
-
First off, what you said is contradictory right there - Nazis put queer people in concentration camps too. I don't understand people who call other people queer when they don't like them. What's with that? http://www.cs.yorku.ca/~cs213198/dan-shakehead.gif

Narrator is so lame... it crashed my computer.

Heh, thanks, I got them from somewhere else. I'm on dial-up at home, and man, I'm telling you, it sucks. I hate hate hate dial-up. It's just sooooooo slooooooooooooooowwwwwww.. And I always exceed the 150 hrs / month limit, and end up paying what I would have to pay if I get DSL. But my mom insists that I don't get DSL, cos then I wouldn't have ANY reason to get off the internet. But at school, I get an 11 Mbps connection... I downloaded 700 MB in 2 minutes. Well, ok not 2, but like 10 at most.

There is an e-book of the translation into English of Raffi's Khent. I am not aware of any other e-books by Armenian writers.. But yeah, it's a great idea.
-
Am I the only one who really likes the idea of e-books? I have tons of them on my HD, and I actually read them... Why do people think it's a stupid idea? I mean, I personally prefer having a book in my hands rather than on my computer, but I don't have enough money to buy all the classics. Can you imagine this, I found the Malleus Maleficarum online, and I had been looking for that book for ages. Hmmm, so yeah, I've read Somerset Maugham's Of Human Bondage, George Orwell's Animal Farm on my computer, and once I finish Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five, I'm going to read Orwell's 1984 - I finally found a copy of it online! So yeah, here are some links that I have, for those of you who are interested in checking it out... http://www.blackmask.com/page.php http://www.bibliomania.com/ http://planeta.terra.com.br/arte/jlcamelo/...fordownload.htm http://books.mirror.org/ http://www.ukans.edu/history/VL/materials/e-texts.html http://www.marxists.org/ http://www.mondopolitico.com/library/ http://www2.hn.psu.edu/faculty/jmanis/jimspdf.htm http://www.promo.net/pg/ http://gutenberg.net.au/plusfifty.html http://classics.mit.edu/Browse/index.html http://digital.library.upenn.edu/books/ http://ota.ox.ac.uk/ http://www.library.utoronto.ca/utel/indexauthors.html

Yep, I've read that somewhere too... hmmm.. I got 100%... My knowledge of Shakespeare is close to zero, or so I thought... I'm assuming the test was made by Strats...
-
True. It's also the philosophy which U.$.A. practices..
-
"If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried."
-
I believe Shakespeare was not the poor country man he was thought to be... hmm... I think he was a prince who didn't want to put his real name... I'm not sure though. I read a very convincing account of it once, and I can't seem to remember where I read it..

Moderators - Sip & co. .... I think we need a wooing forum

But that's different...

Because you implied that if someone speaks up against the American government, they are anti-American. You clearly believe that.
