Raffi, Alright! A few years ago, I did find out about a local group of Dikranagertsis that meet once a year in Los Angeles. What's interesting about that is, both my grandparents are Dikranagertsis who moved to Los Angeles in 1940. They never knew of this group. Is it a Tashnag organization? Does your family speak the dialect? My family does and it is VERY different from "proper" Armenian. Mike

Driving today, the top stories on a local news radio were in this order: 1) The controversy regarding Clinton's pardon of Marc Rich 2) Armenian madam who amassed lots of property in Turkey has died 3) US bombing of Iraq THE NUMBER TWO TOP STORY IN LOS ANGELES & THE WORLD??? My wife and I said, "What the hell was that all about?" If you ask me, it was thinly-veiled anti-Armenian propaganda. Why and how else would news wire services get this story from Istanbul?
