Sip
Sip jan, how many pairs of underwear do you have? Enough to last me an entire laundry cycle. Note I may pay credit card bills twice before I do laundry. ... I dare the computer wizards of HyeForum to come up with a generic grid-computing platform that is to be shared by Armenians worldwide. Something like "Massively Armenian Computing", where a poor graduate student or a professor would have an "unfair" advantage by virtue of being Armenian. Something tells me "cooperative" computing of the Armenian kind would actually end up being counter-productive... or maybe I've been reading too much Baliozian. Twilight Bark
Something tells me "cooperative" computing of the Armenian kind would actually end up being counter-productive... Maybe. Humor me with some examples of how this counter-productivity would come about. or maybe I've been reading too much Baliozian. I see the old fox propaganda master has managed to deliver and plant his message. Speaking of wise sages, the wisdom of the moment then is "You can't fail if you don't try". OK. Let me try and come up with a couple of scenarios: A smartie-pants section of Armenians would start selling their free computing resources to non-Armenians. A shady section of Armenians would hack into the code and create trojan horses that stole credit card and identity information from their fellow Armenians of the idealistic kind. DominO123
C'mon Domino - we've already broken the top 3000.... .... We'll get there. style_images/master/snapback.png I expected better, don't forget more we advance more it is difficult to move in a better position. At the speed we are going, we gonna stabilise at about 1500 position if there isn't more people joining. What prevent people from joining... it's not like I am asking a very complicated mathematical formula, just installing something that you will ignore in the background. It isn't that difficult, is it? Edited November 18, 2004 by Fadix

Anoushik
What motivates me to join is to find out that there are such teams as "Folding@Malaysia" I just hope that I'll be able to contribute something knowing that I'm not at home most of the day and my computer is shut off.
