So since CPT is  "Colored People's Time" but many wouldn't consider Hyes "colored" what time frame do we call this? AST? HST? I mean my Hye friend are notoriously late. So are black folks, but I make it a point to NOT be late almost anywhere, ever~

But trying to go out with a bunch of Hyes.....misht ush en.

We do have such thing as "Armenian Time," which somehow conflicts with everyone elses.

C'mon Ani, as together as you sound I'm dissapointed in your tardiness.  :D  :D

I know it's hard to believe, but surprisingly I am not perfect. But I'm modest.

Eve, might I say, lovely eye make-up on your avatar. :D

You mean the raccoon eyes and bloody lipstick? I guess in some very disturbingly dark way it is, thanks. :D

Don't even try to persuade me to go to the gym, I have too much energy as it is.  :D

You can't lose!

1. If you have too much energy, you'll burn it off

2. If you have too little energy, you'll feel energized

3. You will feel much better and therefore have a more positive attitude about things

4. You will have less time to smoke

5. At the end of the day, you'll feel like you did something during the day!

6. The improved blood flow will make certain acitivities later at night more enjoyable.

I gurantee you in a week your whole attitude will change.

... I also think that highly organized people suck in bed. ...

And why do you think all the women love us? Because we do suck.... oh never mind...

Good points, no time and really no desire. Gym is boring, I'd rather play sports or swim, which I do on occasion or engage in some other workout ;). Plus I don't see how that would help me become more organized, feel better maybe. Thanks.

Azat, what to prove your point? :P

Now I whole-heartedly agree on the "gym is boring" - yuck. I also hate jogging because it doesn't give me much of an opportunity to look around, unlike with walking. Then I also prefer playing individually to playing team games (though fate had it that I had to be stuck with the latter - as a kid)... Rely on none other than yourself - even doubles never work out.

I am a hopelessly disorganized person. I am always late everywhere, I seriously believe it’s a chronic illness. My boss is so used to me being late that she calls me in the office to find out if I would like to change my hours so that I won’t be late, this is still after 4 years of me working here. My friends are extremely shocked when I show up only 10 minutes late. I only work with deadlines, I wait until the last possible moment and then in highly panicky state I overclock my engine.

I'm exactly like this. Today my alarm woke me up at 7am but I didn't get up. I finally got up at 8 and was supposed to leave ten minutes later. I managed to get dressed and was in the middle of applying my makeup when I suddenly decided that today I wouldn't go to my classes. :D I only had two classes - music theory and choir - so I thought I wouldn't miss much. I only hope that I won't continue to take this path for the rest of the semester :P

Sip, I dance in my room sometimes. I used to do that in the disco almost every weekend before and since I don't go out much anymore, it'll have to be at home. Nah, why drive an hour to the gym if you can take a hike, dance in your room or bike around the city? :) Maybe you should try that once :)

Plus I don't see how that would help me become more organized ...

Seemingly unrelated at first maybe ... but in the end, it's all in your mind. Working out and just being physically active is not just good for the body ... actually I personally find that I can think better during general extended periods of activity versus extended periods of physical inactivity. At least in my case, I can think more clearly, more efficiently, and my thoughts tend to be a lot more organized.

Basically I am a lot more likely to not care when I'm spending my days vegging out in front of the PC or TV or just driving around for no reason.

Who says I don't  :o  :P  Nah ... I think I just stick to shooting around the basketball and the occasional pickup games.  :D

style_images/master/snapback.png

I find basketball - particulalry the pickup games i get into with the local high school phenoms - to be a bit too intense to think of anything at all but how to guard my guy (and not be too embarrrased when he makes some move on me), rebound, passing around and getting a shot off without some punk blocking me...no time for thinking at all! On the other hand - when mowing the lawn (and I have a very big lot that I do with a push mower) I find it very condusive to meditation and such...

OMG! You were spying on me weren't you? That's Ev's logic my dear. Only two classes I won't miss much, nothing I can't make up later. Next time comes, repeat the previous sentence. That's how one gets sucked into the world of laziness and excuses.

I know how you feel Eve jan. I have so much work to do, but am I doing it??? NOOOOOO, I'm too busy solving a crossword puzzle. :D

style_images/master/snapback.png

Ooof, too much of a familiar sound to me. :D

LADIES!! Do you know what is a good substitute for a calf workout? High heels, yes, walk a few minutes a day in high heels, go up the stairs a few times and you will notice a significant difference. The other day I was washing my calves and I couldn't believe how muscular they have become, and to think that I didn't intentionally apply any effort, no need to be stuck in that stinky gym!

I'm the same, or it is this, or I may just decide onces there to go at the library and sleep there... and if I can finally go to class, I sleep during the middle of the courses. :D
