gevo27
CARACO...huh? style_images/master/snapback.png a much less affective and simpler way to say it would be "character" its actualyl i misspelled it, its charako, its an ancient word of the greek language, also aramaic, it has a much more complete and descriptive meaning than character. sev-mard
Sevmard, I think we misunderstood each other. I did not cliam that men should always control women. Nither did I mention that the situation when male totaly controls female is OK. I said that all normal men want to control most of the time. I also answered Eve's question by saying that I wish that women new that most of the time they should leave control to men. Control is not about spooking after her. If you're in a serious relationship you spend a lot of time together. And you have to make collective decisions about various things. I mean you cannot vote on that, can you? Someone naturaly gets in charge of some issues. There is a certain set of issues where men see their position as a decision maker as a privilege ("what curtains to buy for the place?" is not among them). You could even surrender those as a joke, make fun...That's OK. But sometimes, somehow it gets serious. And for some periods it gets serious more often. If you give in at that moment you're broke. Or should I say, if a woman does not understand that she should back down at that moment, she's not a woman. style_images/master/snapback.png I hear you Armen, makes sense what you're saying and it's jeesht as well. The flow will naturally lead towards de facto "leader" in various situations.

Anileve
wtf is asceticism? style_images/master/snapback.png If I followed with an answer characterized by the tone of your question I would respond with: "Why don't you f---in google it and find out?" But since I won't because I am such a sweet being, I will respond with: "Well Accelerator, do you know of Buddha? He was an ascetic." Accelerated
If I followed with an answer characterized by the tone of your question I would respond with: "Why don't you f---in google it and find out?" ....Im not really interested in the meaning of the word, I was merely pointing out that Im not a 'substantially intelligent' guy. THOTH
I am hardly a representative for the ideal female population. What's your take on this? style_images/master/snapback.png My take - I think that you are (intellectually) evolved beyond your years - regardless of gender - and that you ponder/consider/question many things - and in particular you question, and don't take on face value (traditional) gender roles/values etc. I'm impressed - what can I say...very...and no - I don't think you are at all representative of the ideal (?) - lets say typical - female in our population...and in general - that is a very good thing...(of course I feel the same way regarding myself and the ideal (?)/typical male....lol

Thank you I am flattered, although I happen to think the exact opposite but that's another issue. Ideal goes for women, typical goes for men. Now will you finally answer my question??!!!! CheekY
Ok what kind of question is this? We already know everything about men without them telling us we just like doing things our way Ah a woman should never ask a man if he thinks she's fat when she actually IS fat/overweight... instead get a BIG mirror But either way if the man were smart enough he'd simply tell her that she's sexy not beautiful or he still loves her whatever she looks like blah blah blah

Xentuk
OK. Here's what I've learned. Majority of men do not like being told that they are wrong. Even if it's very clear to them that they are wrong (or that they seriously messed up) and they might be kicking themselves in secret, they become extremely defensive when YOU (i.e. member of the female gender) vocalize that reality. For a while it was hard for me to grasp this but I have finally accepted it as a fact. As previously stated by Armen, inherently men like to be in control. When you point out his mistakes you yank away his sense of control. A man backed into a corner is not a happy camper.
