Accelerated Posted January 24, 2005 Author Report Share Posted January 24, 2005 DUDDDDEEEEEE, where the heck have you been? just a few reasons for my absense: + New PC + Broadband internet + Rome: Total War + Doom 3 + 19inch LCD monitor + Regular Intoxication (holidays) ...and now looking for work but seriously, im going to restrain posting (often) untill i get a job, this place eats up too much of my time ...and I wonder whose idea it was to give me 'nobility' status, I reckon its a ruse to get me posting more often.... I though the main reasons were: - humiliating sophomore season in Fantasy Football - not even making the playoffs - finishing behind even Extra (a rookie!, who even missed about a quarted of the season!) Accelerated Posted February 9, 2005 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2005 this patch is bad news, horse archers no longer fire on the move - severelly crippling Armenia(!) and a couple other factions. There is a debate going on as wether this was an intentional (albeit a historically inaccurate) alteration by the developers. In any case Ive stopped playing the game untill they fix it! It extends the map eastward (reaches modern Pakistan), makes the game more realistic by fixing the location of factions and adding new cities. the city of Samosata has been added for Armenia, in a province called ''Commagene''. Atropatene is also given to Armenia. Parthia is much smaller, and Seleucia is extended eastward, but its' easternmost provinces are very weak...
