Armen Half-Celt Posted September 25, 2004 Report Share Posted September 25, 2004 (edited) it did, Rome total war will have armenia as a faction unfortuantly in campaign mode it will not be a playable one which is unfortuante. Accelerated Posted October 14, 2004 Author Report Share Posted October 14, 2004 well, the game's been out for about a month now, and from what I have been reading Armenia is strong indeed (btw. there is an easy mod for making the Armenian faction playable in the main campaign) specialising not surprisingly in cavalry, heavy cataphracts in particular, but also cavalry archers. Check out some of the topics on Armenia HERE. And its (game) been gettin rave reviews all-round, many calling it the best strategy game of all time, so I think we should be content that by the fact that we have been represented! and in some style. gurgen Posted November 4, 2004 Report Share Posted November 4, 2004 (edited) 'Tis really good. The lag is unbearable but I like it very much. I think you can't really compare it with other RTS games. There is definitely more and better combat than in other games. Unit building is ofc very important but the fun comes in the massive battles. This is where my fps drops to point demolition The main campaign is pretty fun with a good storyline. Haven't really tried many other features though, should be getting a new pc by Christmas.
