Browse the site for a while and you will know what I mean. These are types of people you have probably never seen before 10 years back in Yerevan (I know I haven't) but apparently they do exist. Well ignorance is bad, and obviously an educated like brother like myself is aware of this. But as i've always said, who is more lost, those that are ignorance, or those who choose to 'copy' and imitate said ignorance with no real reason or ties to do so? It is definitely a neat concept but nothing original ... I think the people there have done an excellent job with the website though. Their intention may have been to create an "armenian club" but that does not always work out as you plan. People will do with it as people want to usually. For example, I don't think anyone knew the internet was going to become the most advanced, globally decentralized high speed communication medium to distribute porn and spam. About their forum, just by the nature of the site it tends to attract the young, single, and horney crowd whose goal is often to see and be seen. This is not to say that interesting discussions don't take place or can't take place there but the "discussion" there is often muffled by the need to one-up one another to establish superiority ... more in the form of adolescent hormone crazed driven ways as opposed to big ego driven ways we sometimes see here. Of course it is no secret that we have the same thing going on here at times but here the goal hasn't usually been to establish oneself as the dominant male or the most eligible female so the dynamics are quite a bit different (well, at least we try to keep it different ). The suffereing of our people is engraved in our genes. Your people have suffered greatly (unfortunately) but in a different way than our people. We are an ancient people who have kept our culture through EVERYTHING we've been through. Our ancestors have heroically preserved our culture and we shall do the same as will our next generation and EVERY other generation after that ... I think it's silly in the way that Hiphop and the whole "idea" of it is out of control. But what I find even worse is people who imitate this lifestyle and believe that is what is cool and right. It's people like this who want to fight someone like me at the parks, when I'm supposedly an original member of said 'trend.' It's just silly I think, and I actually agree with armos when they say hate to see other armos acting 'black' because I don't consider that acting black I consider it acting stupid, and I don't like stupid. If rap promotes bad images of blackness, what do you think armos being a wack representation of that representation promotes? Believe or not I understand your sense of honor and ties to your history, we may not have suffered in the same way you as your people(as you think) but consult the bottom of the Ocean on the Middle Passage and you'll surely find millions of bodies laid to rest there. These things I care not so much about to beat them to death now. My point in saying what I said is that I'm against people who makes fools of themselves just as much as anyone else, especially those thinking they are 'keeping it real' by acting like some carbon copy black rappers.
