Age Difference

Now that I think of what I said, does immature actually imply player? :blink:

Whatever. Neither characteristic is desirable for serious ladies.

No, I don't think it does. There are a lot of mature but player type guys. LOL. :unsure:

Sip, who talked about drugs? I am seriously confused here. Maybe I missed something? What do drugs have anything to do with STDs? STD = Sexually Transmitted Diseases... :blink: What the heck? :unsure: :huh:

... Sip, who talked about drugs?

I thought when skittles said "if someone has never used drungs can they still get STD if they sleep with more than 1 man/woman who is clean" she was referring to drug usage and their relation to STDs.

Then when you said you highly doubt one can get STD's from a "clean" person, I wasn't sure if you were referring to "STD clean" or "Drug clean". Because obviously you can't get STD's from an "STD Clean" person. :blink:

LOL. Maybe she meant something like condoms? Maybe there's a slang word for condom that I was not aware of? LOL. :unsure: :blink: Drugs / STD? Unrelated. :blink:

What I meant from "clean" is uhhmm, someone who doesn't have STDs. LOL :blink: Hahaha, I'm really confused. I thought she was asking if you could get STDs from having unprotected sex even with an STD clean person. LMAO!!! :blink: :blink: :blink: :huh:

If Wilt Chamberlain started his sexual relations at the age of 16, he had 47 years of potential mates. 47*365 = 17155. 20000/17155 = 1.1658408627222384144564266977558 women / day for 47 years. :blink:

If on average I can score with 1.164 more ladies per day that I do now I can be in the same league as Wilt was. There is still hope... WooHooo

Drugs / STD? Unrelated. :blink:

I am not so sure .... Yah on paper they seem unrelated but I would be much more worried about STDs with a druggie than with a "clean" person. Drug usage just screams diminished mental capacity at times to make proper choices ... actually the diminshed mental capacity in itself is what draws a lot of people to drugs.

I mean it doesn't even have to be "drugs" ... I guess the effects of alcohol and it's impact on the exponensial increase in sexual promiscuity isn't a secret :D

I think that sexual lifestyle in and of itself diminishes chances of STD's. I think that someone who sticks only to proper relationships without the use of barriers would be safer than someone who did only one-night stands with the use of condoms, assuming everyone sticks to people like themselves.

Is that true that smoking weed will eventually slow down man's sex drive? I mean if we compare someone who's not doing drugs with someone who's doing it is it true that the one who's not doing drugs will sexually last much longer than the one who's been doing it for a long timen (I'm talking about the age). Also, at what age does a man's sexual drive slow down and eventually die? 40? 45? Do you also think that it isn't normal for a 35 year old to still do drugs (weed)????

drugs

Marijuana

Street names: pot, dope, grass, green, mull, hash, gunga, blow, weed.

Cost: From $20-$25 per gram, although marijuana is often grown at home or locally, and supplied free by friends or acquaintances.

Marijuana or cannabis comes from the leafy plant, Cannabis sativa. It can be bought as the dried flowers (head), leaves, stalks and seeds, all of which are called marijuana, or in a solid brown lump, called hashish or hash. Cannabis is usually smoked in a bong (water pipe) or pipe, or rolled up in a cigarette with tobacco, known as a ‘joint'. Cannabis can also be mixed into cookies or cakes and eaten.

Since marijuana contains more tar than tobacco and is usually smoked unfiltered, inhaled deeply and held in the lungs for much longer, the adverse effects of tobacco are increased. Smoking three or four joints may carry the same health risk as smoking a packet of tobacco cigarettes. Regular users of cannabis may be physically dependent (addicted), as well as psychologically dependent.

The active compounds in cannabis are termed cannabinoids. The most active one is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). As THC is absorbed by the body's fat cells, it may remain in the body for up to a month or more after smoking. Fat-soluble drugs like THC leave the blood stream quickly and distribute themselves to fatty tissues, such as the brain and cell membranes. Since THC is stored in body tissues and is only released into the blood stream over days or weeks, accumulation of THC may occur. As a result, regular marijuana users may be under the influence of marijuana at any time and be unaware of the dangers of this.

Adverse effects

physical addiction for regular users;

impaired short-term memory, logical thinking and coordination;

bronchitis, lung cancer and other smoking-related diseases;

cancers of the mouth and throat;

reduced ability to drive a car safely or perform other complex tasks;

decrease in sex drive (libido);

impaired fertility.

Common sensations among experimental users include relaxation, light euphoria, hallucinations, a feeling of happiness, perhaps talkativeness and an urge to laugh. Marijuana use may induce schizophrenia or paranoia among users predisposed to these conditions.

There are important personal and social harms associated with the use of marijuana by young people. These include deterioration in school or job performance, and legal problems that may result from the use or supply of an illegal drug.

In Australia, it is illegal for anyone to possess or supply cannabis. In South Australia, Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory, possession of small quantities for personal use carries a fine but no criminal record. Check with the police in your state or territory for more information.

Note: Medical research recommends that adolescents whose hormonal systems are still developing, epileptics, women who are pregnant or want to become pregnant, or people who have a tendency towards schizophrenia or other mental illnesses avoid or minimise cannabis use.

i guess it does? :blink:

Well Skits, Anka etc al - I think we shouldn't generalize. While I havent smoked pot for 20 years! (wow - seems hard to believe!) - I can say that when I did my drive was not at all decreased - definatly the opposite! Can't say for long term use - but I guess it might depend on how much...and of course just the individuals physiology. And weed/pot is a pretty minor drug really - I don't see it as much different then drinking...so one has a few tokes/drinks and feels good - loosens up or what have you - I don't see it as any big deal..still - probably best not to be stoned everyday - and not good if your operatiing dangerous machinery or what have you.

As far as drinking goes, again - its very individual. I can easily down an entire bottle of wine and or have a simaler combination of other drinks and basically be unaffected..though sometimes if I'm otherwise tired or what have you I might notice some affect...it has happend of course..though rarely to the point where well...I havent been able...

And regarding the age question - I'll let you know...I'm 42 going on 43 with little or no change! :naughty: :punk: :rockon: :partytime: :pimp: ...but then again I've always had a higher then average drive..so again - I'm sure its an individual thing...

Hi Anka

Things do happen in life, but I think everything happens for a reason russian have saying " netu xuda bez dabra" chka charik arands bariki. I consider you should be happy whatever happened now can you imagine if you found that later in life? Just keep working on your education, and the best things will come later in life. I strongly believe in that. And when it comes to age I do not really think age really plays big role if the couples are successfull in their relationship thats what is the most important of course i am not talking about 30-40 yrs older. Don't be disapointed, instead be happy because we all learn from our mstake. "Don't cry because it is over smile because it happened". Take care

Angelina,

Thanks for the support. I know that I'm still young and that I have my whole life ahead of me but I do care about him and I do feel sorry about how he's living his life.

den wolf,

that's what I thought :) I dont' do drugs at all. I've tried marijuana twice about 2 years ago but that didn't appeal me at all. I rather have a drink. I don't even smoke cigarettes so I don't have to worry about the side effects.

I want to make a distinction between a "player" and a "multimate" (I just made that up) as in someone who sleeps with many other people ...

Though both the player and the multimate sleep with potentially many partners, the player does so often dishonestly and with deviousness, cunning, lieing, and actually also "playing" the necessary games.  A multimate on the other hand, may or may not be a player ... for example a rock star, a pro athlete, or a  professional athlete may be a huge multimate but may not be a player at all as members of the opposite sex may just be throwing themselves at him or her.

My examples of a "multimate" above were of an extreme nature and in real life you obviously will get the total spectrum between the player and the Wilt Chamberlins (claims 20,000 women in his lifetime).

hey hey now!! are you tryin to justify a lifestyle here??? <_< a playa is a playa just like a dog is a dog!!! maybe you or someone else will have a much easier time convincing a naive 20 year old to buy into that b.s.!! but most older mature women don't fall for that!! definitely not!! ;)

whatmore, someone who is suffering from a 'multimate disorder' needs professional help NOT more freakin partners..enough with this pc nonsense!!! polygamy is ILLEGAL in many states...prostitution is ILLEGAL in many states....why is it that being a nasty single dog is 'okay'??? <_< i think what those dogs needs is to spend a night in jail for all their transgressions....hmm i wonder what will take place in that jail cell?? :D and i don't mean solitary confinement!! :P yeah!! get a taste of their own medicine!! and feel used and cheap!!

i dont think the terminology matters...or how they "play their game" sam game is being played...sex...with more than one person at a given time...hmm sounds weird...but yah...doesnt matter if people are lying about it or just doing it...its being done period! same game, same dogs playing it, not implying that all men are dogs....

at a certain age, its wahtever IMO for a guy to sleep with a girl, then get into another relationship and do the same afterwards...if its a mutual thing-not while hes still with other girl...but when the guy is old enough, then i think he has problems--serious ones

It's different for the same reason that bribery is illegal but asking someone to do you a favour is not. Paying a bribe means you are paying someone either to actually do something they are under the obligation to do but won't do so without some bakhsheesh or to do something they shouldn't. On the other hand, asking a favour and having it done or having it turned down is no criminal offense for either party. Then of course there is the place where the line gets thin if not fuzzy - you may have buddies in the establishment to give you a hand or, instead of using money, you may treat the favour-doer to a holiday or present or something, something you perfectly have every right to do to whoever you want - who is going to say what to that? Likewise, prostitution is being decriminalized and in fact legalized in certain countries because there is concensus they are OK and can deal with it - and who is going to say what to that?

Sip, i understand what you are trying to argue here, and in a very very very very far away sense, i might agree to some of it. But, your gonna have to make better examples, as you said your examples are extreme, but we know how real life plays. Its easy to say, hard to act that way. For a guy to be a player, or a "multimate", there is only one difference as i see it. The multimate person tries to justify what he is doing, as the player knows what hes doing is wrong. Even if you were to contrast this issue with moral relativism, instead of absolute truth, then still even according to what our general cultural moral code is today, it is still wrong.

Basically you have a lot to explain before i can see the distinction between the 2 as more than an excuse.

based on my observation both directly and indirectly there is an age limit to all this nonsense!! and it is the same age where the male sex drive starts to 'plateau' (notice i didn't say go downhill!! :P ) ...and that happens at 25!! so if after 25 and especially after 30 or even more shockingly 35!! :blink: this 'attitude' or 'mentality' continues, i will not hesistate and will label it as another mental pathologic state!!! people need to grow up sometime! otherwise there is a well known word we use for such a group! it's called "retard"...if a man by a certain age can't figure out what the hell he wants from life maybe he should seclude himself, practice abstinence(since all that meaningless sex just makes 'em harder and dumber!), meditate a bit, find his place in this world, look at life collectively or holistically, and figure out what the heck is going on around him/with him!!

and women need to stay away from these losers as soon as they figure out what these 1/2wits are all about!! there's a whole breed of these idiots out there and the sooner we kick them out of our mental pool of available men, the happier we will be!!---these "men" (and i use that term very loosely!!) are the way they are because a lot of women out there allow this kind of nonsense to go on!!!---it's NOT 'love' and 'love' will not "change" his ways...instead it will make them more arrogant and more selfish!! until of course they come into contact with someone like myself!! :rolleyes: who will make them bow down!! --cardinal rule: if a 'man' does not act like a man, he does not deserve to be treated like a man--only REAL MEN have this rare privilege!! ;) and it's about time we put this in practice and weed out the losers!! B)
