Now now, you are jumping to huge huge conclusions about (Armenian men) based on a few (or more) cases. You are generalising. But that is in no way to underestimate your feelings. I think in these cases, one is to take each situation separately and judge it. Perhaps he really wasn't ready for a relationship? Did you talk with him about it? And by talk, i don't mean Armenian style talking and HIGH levels of anger and lack of temper. And even if he did dump you for that reason or another, does that mean that all guys are "pigs"? I don't mean to make you feel worse. I am sorry to hear that you're having problems. But I am an Armenian guy, and I wouldn't do that. Maybe there are a few of us left? lol. I don't know.

I'm sorry he hurt you :(

he must not have been mature enough for a relationship...

guess there is nothing we can say to make you feel better....but you will...time heals....keep yourself busy for now, that's about all you can do till you get mad and when you get mad the hurt will go away....

Oh yah ... the same story over and over ... guy the evil, girl the all so holy and the "victim". When will girls take off their "victim" shoes and stop blaming everyone else?

Whether he didn't like you, wasn't ready for a relationship, had someone else in mind, is gay, has career plans, etc etc etc ... what difference does it make? It just wasn't going to work out.

Plenty more fish in the see and life goes on. Stop thinking of yourself as the victim. If you do, then you become one.

SlowJamz22, i think you are jumping to conclusions. What you're saying is mere speculation. You cannot claim to know what was on his mind when he did it.

I agree with Sip. And these days a lot of women "dump" their b/fs. But men never play the victim. If women want equality, then can start from there. If you don't want to be stereotyped as the "weak, dependent, whining woman," then prove that you are not. [here "you" is in general, not aimed at anyone specific]. I see this all the time, and it does annoy me. Pretty pretty please, we might not know what it is like to be a woman, but you cannot know what it is like to be a man either. It works both ways.

Come on SlowJamz22 jan, don't be sad!!! :) Guys come and go, don't let one guy bring you down like this. ;) Maybe he was right, and wasn't ready for a relationship... Or maybe it wasn't working out. It may seem like it's the end of the world now, but it's not!!! A lot more fish in the sea!!! B) ;)

Yeah Sip, great...very sensitive and understanding of you...and do I detect more then a little self justification in your message?

Aww Slowjam....I'm very sorry for you. Like Wolf said - did you guys talk it out at all? You never know...and you really need to think if he is worth it...how long had you been going together anyway?

...your young, abnd I know it mioght not seem like it now but you'll fiond someone else...you'll have plenty of oppurtunities to meet other guys...and think about it - you'll find a better guy...that really cares about you - OK?...and I'm not saying that he was too old for you - but that sometimes can be a factor...I'm sure you'll bounce back and meet someone else...you hang in there OK...

How does that solve anything?

Besides, have you thought that you end up with the *sshole guys all the time, thereby having bad experiences? Why blame the guy for it?

Damn right. :naughty:

  I dont know what sip is saying, but im barely 20 and i dont see how at age 26 i wont be ready for a relationship, or why i would go out with someone and the whole time know its not gonna happen, or why i would lead the person on for my own self gratification and then hurt there feelings!!!! Thats BS.... I dont see why guys have to go around have so much "fun" hurting other peolpes feelings.... Im damn sure when us guys see a girla nd go out with her for any significant amount of time, we can tell if things will work or not.. Why some guys at age 26 or more do that, its stupid, they are idiots and if you are offended by reading this, thatn too bad, get a life!!!! Stop being so selfish, go out with people you can see a relationship with not just any girl who comes along thats pretty and you try her for a few months then break her heart!..

Slowjam, all i can say if he did that, than dont worry about it, if there was no other major reason for him to act that way, arguements disagreements etc... then hes an A**HO*** and well i think it was better for him to show his face now then later... dont feel bad at all... but yes ofcourse i understand the pain..:(;;;;; Cheer up, like everyone keeps saying, more fish in the sea... use good bait when you cathcing them, and youll cathc the good ones... :) :D

wow gevo!! you might be young but you're what i consider a REAL MAN!!!! not like some of these little pigs and dogs who run around not knowing what they want in life/from girls/with girls and thinking it's 'cool' or 'self-gratifying' to have a girl pine over them or even be interested in them, only to break her heart later on...yeah!! i can understand a guy being that way in early 20's but once you get closer to 30 and beyond you need to get your act together and stop being a bozo!! <_<

:o :o

Five Armenian guys???? And you’re only 20??? Don’t you think you might be jumping from one relationship to another and that might be part of the problem??? Why do you allow yourself to depend on your other half (partner) so much??? be your own person be independent… Screw such guys like him… if he broke your heart without feeling horrible for it than it is obvious that he doesn’t “love” you anymore…he doesn’t deserve you…. I’m not trying to be harsh on you… I’m just being real… give yourself a break and think about it before you jump into your next relationship…

Take care and like Maral said time heals almost everything... be safe :)

Good Day!!! :)

gevo dude ... chill out a bit. Not everyone wants to get married by 26 and have pooping farting barf machines running around the house while he goes to work 9 to 5, comes back home and start cooking or go shopping and do the laundry and then watch some TV and go to sleep totally exhausted by 10pm to wake up at the crack of dawn the next day for the whole thing to repeat.

I am 27 and haven't even really began serious dating or even thinking about serious relationships yet. Everyone is different ... Thoth may tell you girls are the next best thing for men since "grated cheese that comes in a bag". I am not so sure .... girls and relationships are great ... but so is youthfulness and freedom and having the time to be able to really establish yourself as a person in life.

I am just slowly starting to discover who I am ... what my position is in life and where I want to go. I think at least a few years of being totally on one's own is mandatory (in my case) to go through this self discovery process. I look around our "Armenian" communities and you have young girls and guys who grow up with mommy and daddy and jump into serious ass relationships and then get married just to be able to move out and become their own people ... but they NEVER have the chance to discover their individuality. And that is just very sad.

Maybe you were kept in your room till you were like 20, and the last 7 years have been when you really grown up.. i dont know. LMAO.. but let me tell you, @ 27 and still thinking about maybe getting into relationship... hmm.. you dont know who you really are?? hmmm... not every man wants little farts running arounnd the house?? hmm... Sip,, your list goes on and on to show how selfish you can be in that regard, no offense, but you go out with girl for fun and the whole time leting them assume that theres a future..? right i mean i dont know i cant say but only other way, unless before the relationship you say, ok this is just for fun, then see how many girl will stay.. HAHAHA... look, everyone is different, but we shouldnt hurt aother people and be selfish at the same time

Yeah Sip sure...but yeah OK - actually not a bad post (this last one)..but I still will not waver from my position that gals are well...nothing better..what can I say...yeah at your age I was still enjoying the single life...but was certainly getting serious...and while I couldlive free and single...I must say I was always my happiest in a serious relationship....1 + 1 is more then 2 sometimes...and is certainy more then 1 ...you - and others - may not understand that yet - but it is so tue - at least it always has been for me....and Sip man...27...well yeah...thats getting there..pretty soon in those 30s and before you know it....my my...life does pass one quicly by...and sure - fun to be single and free..but I think you are overstressing the negative aspects of a significant other...find the right one and you don't have to cramp your style much at all..and find the right one and you don't at all mind crimping your style...really....you might be surprised/amazed sometime...anyway...

hang in their SlowJam jan!

By the way gevo, for your info, my case may be a little different as I just finished school. But no one has ever "kept" me in any room and I have always been free to do as I please. And about you assuming that I lie to girls, then all I can tell you is that you don't know me at all :D
