Well, not an accomplishment I guess, but still, I guess it's all about the fight. Way to go Den! That in itself is quite a fight but then having the right state of mind to get yourself into grad school and all this by age 21 is quite impressive. I say Kudos. My biggest accomplishment to date has been the buffet at Bellagio. Yes, I had a bit of EVERYTHING. I was in a coma like state for 12 hours after that, but I can now say I have done something in life. (I think I might've also romanticized death a bit - like what happens at the moment of death and after it.) But then I figured that death IS inevitable and sooner or later it happens to people. So why rush it? Especially now, I want to live as long as I can, because I always want to know what will happen next? And after that? When I die, I'll miss out the adventure of life that other people left to live will experience. I want to experience this with them for as long as possible. Do I make sense? I say Kudos. i don't want to "accomplish" anything... maybe just death... if that made any sense. hey skittles, are you sure? i think it's easy to say that, but hard to come to terms with death when it's in front of you and you know you're going to die. not that i'm underestimating your feelings, but as someone who has experienced it and pain too (not that you haven't, i don't like assuming things), i want to live, and live life to the fullest. such a cliche' sentence, i know, but it's true for me. are you "suicidal"? or just depressed? i understand that sometimes boredom and problems lead to such feelings and thoughts, so if you want to talk, you can always drop me a line. i hope you'd see life for what it is. and if you already do, maybe all you need is someone to listen to you. and remember, death is not an accomplishment in life. it's just death. leave death alone, i can assure you it will come to you when it sees fit. angel4hope Posted February 8, 2004 Report Share Posted February 8, 2004 hmmm well, i still have alot of things to accomplish in my life...but one thing i know and am proud of is that i helped a little 5 year old boy learn and love to read...its just a great feeling!! but thats just one small accomplishment measured to what i have planned for my future...i want to do soemthing involving Armenia..like collect some money for food, clothes and shelter for the children who are less fortunate...and at least kbnow deep down inside that i helped by one small bitt...theres a lot more in my list...but the list is never ending and keeps growing from day to day... I have also graduated high school and am attending college. You can tell I have alot to accomplish still. That's 2 sentences not one by the way; as for me, I stopped biting my finger nails and now switched over to biting feet nails, I've also had made my share of bread sculptures (tearing out the middle of the bread and forming them into little forest men, I wish I had my hands on the Wonder Bread in Yerevan, it would have been a lot more efficient in my creative years); and I no longer run out of the room after I turn off the lights in fear of an evil creature; Wolfy I must say that it's one helluva fight there, I bow before you; does one really long run on sentence count?
