BUT!! the point is to know what purpose it serves and how it affects the bigger picture of metabolism!

gevo27
i know the best way to get rid of hikkups, it has worked 100% of the time for me and people i have showed it too, i learned it from my biology teacher in like freshman year of high schooll... Tell the poor kid to lean over (infront) take a cup of water, and drink a few sips from the wrong side of the cup, like when you bring the cup to your mouth to drink it, your head goes over the cup, and you drink from the opposit side of the cup... There is nothing medically prooven or anything like that.. but trust me it works.. i dont know why.. LOL; allarmeniangirl, if that doesnt work, strap the kid down before it hurts itself!!!!!!! So the moral of the discussion is.... TRY TO REMEMBER THE STUFF ATLEAST FOR THE EXAM

LOL; ooooh that long explanation. i found an easier way. drink 7 or 9 good sips of water while holding ur breath. works instantly......does not work on children/babies(according to my avatar). ......allarmeniangirl, if that doesnt work, strap the kid down before it hurts itself!!!!!!! allarmeniangirl
Never really liked History, a lot to remember. Math is hard sometimes, cuz if u enter one number wrong or put a wrong integer by accident, the whole problem turns out wrong <_< The BEST subject is English/Literature/Writing!!!!! sev-mard
Bah. History is the only subject in school that really matters. And they usually screw up the teaching of it. I learned more on my own reading, and then proceeded to terrorize teachers for most of my formative years.

English is not as easy as u think. it is not always stating ur opinion and that's it, u really have to go deep into it. sometimes u have to analyze things like.......poetry for example. There are also hidden messages and meaning in the poems. The order and number of lines and stanzas of the way a poem is written also characterizes the meaning to it. That's just poetry though, there r other. ooooooh.....I'm actually learning something from AP English

Anonymouse
Well think of it this way, history will always be skewed and biased for it is not like mathematics ( in that there is a verifiable and testable method with a solid answer ), because it can be manipulated and controlled by whatever establishments that exist. And to a large part, we have faith that whoever wrote history down the ages, has done so accurately, aside from that what we know is only the outlook of others on history, not history itself, whatever that is.
