KavorKin99
"Often people attempt to live their lives backwards: they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want so that they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then, do what you need to do, in order to have what you want." shiner
I believe it's a "relative" state of mind. Your current state can be happier than another state (at another time) but I think happyness/sadness refer to relative states of mind. It's like saying "define" more or less ... except in this case, happy and sad have good/bad conotations to them with happy being the more preferred state. Not sure if I was clear. Sip, I agree with the relative part. If I have a deadly disease just survivivng would make me happy, if I'm just surviving in a one room apartment a two room apartment would make me happy, if I'm in a two room apartment a house would make me happy. And then if I was to go backwards from a house to a two room apartment I would be sad. But a two room apartment once made me happy. It's all relative. angel4hope
hapiness is being yourself and not someone else-accepting yourself as you are and not conforming to other people's beliefs

gamavor
happiness is peeing after wanting but not having the chance to do it for hours... style_images/master/snapback.png I thought that must have been the definition for 'relief'!
