I was doing some research today on WWI for my Literature of WWI course, and I came across a very interesting book, which talks about the various fronts and events of WWI, including the Armenian genocide. It has 5-6 pics of Armenian refugees, orphans, and victims, as well as a coupla pages on the genocide. Very interesting. I have yet to see any work matching Gilberts one about WWI, simple, ordered and very well organized. 5/5. It should be a standard used to write good books about WWI and WWII. I'm not really writing my essay on the historical background of WWI, but the reason I got the book was that I thought it might give me some background for my argument - allusion does the trick. I just checked out both your suggestion and Vava's, and they are both available at the library here, so I will check it out as soon as I'm done with the tedious task of writing essays...
