Nakharar
Gregory Peck being Armenian is just hearsay. There is no evidence pointing otherwise. The same with Elizabeth Taylor (Yeghisapet Tersakian) and Jack Palance (Hagop Palanjian). Are people creative or what? The latter are from one of Ara Baliozian's posts a couple of years ago. Believe me it was hardly what he had intended. Or maybe some people just want to create Armenian Urban legends. Proving most of Ara's assumptions about Armenians correct. Wishful thinking I might say.
Mko
If he denied being Armenian then he is not Armenian . Brilliant!!! Nothing else to say:))) and not only for Peck

phantom22
Its not hearsay if your source is a relative of the Pecks, who happens to be a blonde odar-ized Armenian and you have corraborating evidence from Peck's next-door neighbors. What you fools don't understand is that your attitudes are the cause of the White Genocide. Â Â Â Gregory Peck being Armenian is just hearsay. There is no evidence pointing otherwise. Hellektor
Yeah right! Is Binladian Armenian too? Grigor Ipekian is Armenian just as Yeghisapet Dertsakian (Elizabeth Taylor) and Hovannes Vayinian (John Wayne). :) :goof: What is most ridiculous is that even if we believe that old Greg is Armenian where is his Armenian surname? We may want to know that "ipek" is not an Armenian word it is tu tuu tuuu Turkish. The hell with him. An Armenian is he/she who says so. This is no joke: here in Iran we also used to hear he was Armenian. As for a family name they used to say he was called Grikor Beglarian! Are you SE-riously talking about armenians? Open a western civilization history book and 1st page egyptians second page Greeks and 3rd page Romans; Armenians don't even get a footnote!: greatest! What hav you been smoking?  I know of alot of greeks with armenian last names;) They usually add an -IS after the -ian to greekify it! Seriously who would want to be armenian? Shaquille Onilian, Mickeal Ballackyan, George Cloonyan, Bruce Leyan: Mamikokean?; Elia Kazan;Micheal Jordanian; Jesus Christian? Alexander the Greatian? Socratian? Pythagorian? Archimedian? Platonian? Aristotelian? Jennifer Anistonian? Telly Savalian? phantom22
OK, Vartan...what is your "educated" answer? That Peck is "black Irish" like Richard Nixon was, probably descended from the sailors of the Spanish Armada? Please explain your comment which is "floating in space."Â Â The last post is uneducated and totally wrong.
