It's just a stunt to distract the Hollywood soaked following masses from the more important issues. Ever notice hardly anyone talks about Saddam or "Operation Iraqi Freedom"?

very true...just another publicity stunt to distract the mass....

and i actually remember it first being called (O)peration (I)raqui (L)iberation...and and what does that spell??? OIL yes OIL isnt that a bit weird? talk about the subconscious/"unconscious mind eh?..and what ever happened to "liberating" the iraqui's? its all about national powers in battle with one another...oil and the pull for democracy in other countries too...they should actually change the so called name "democracy" call it something else...cause this sure as hell isnt what id say is democracy!

i beleive what bush is doing isnt selfish, its not for his oil companies. he is acutally trying to liberate iraq, we see that by still having hope in the democracy he is trying to establish there, even though inoccent american lives are being taken... I dont see why he is blamed for the war anyways, the senate and congress are who declare war and provide the money, and they sure as hell know more than i do.....

Why, Bush is so benevolent, he will pour money he could pour into public education, etc. (American citizens know their shortcomings better than I do), into Iraq. Before that it was Afghanistan. Next in line ought to be Iran and North Korea. Thing is, I don't understand why North Korea didn't go first. Geo-political issues? The possibility that they have the nukes? I think not. The freaking North Koreans have been maintaining a massive army and starving and depriving their population for DECADES. It took a blockade for people to pay attention to Saddam's palaces and his Amerikanski-sanctified massacres from DECADES ago. "WMD, WMD, he's a danger to the U.S." What BS. Iraq was occupied in a state unable to defend itself from invasion, let alone pose the U.S. or even Iraq's own neighbours a threat, killing plenty of Iraqis in the process of "annihilation of military targets with surgical accuracy" (with strays into farmland in Turkey to the north) as we know the case to have been in Afghanistan and in fact making a target out of American soldiers - delivered to the crazed Iraqis on a silver platter. How ironic. It is not a matter of how many Iraqis would have been killed if Saddam had continued in power - it is a matter of whom by. And don't forget - the U.S. used to LOVE Saddam.

While Bush is sacrificing his population's education, health care, etc., for the liberation of Iraqis, everyone except for contractor companies happens to lose. Nothing bizarre about that - these mishaps happen in war, sometimes. Bush is the kind of feudal-like ruling "leader" any country would die to have. How many €€€ for his transfer, please? And also Congress et al., please - isn't it lovely how contractors are strictly restricted to "allies" versus economic preferentialism?

 

If anything, it should be the U.S. that should be liberated. Believe me, for all your creature comforts and system, you are also very, very, very, terribly sad. I can't believe what reasons the average Joe must have to make excuses for this BS. Now someone go liberate the U.S., just as simple as that.

Note to self - this writing in the sand business should be easier on the hands, better consider it some of the time vs. stone all the time, else I'm gonna end up with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands. :P

Impression of the day: Who the hell has the time to sit and write silly chain letters? You know, the ones that usually end with the final curse: "If you do not forward it to others, it means you have an evil heart" or "you will have 10 years of bad sex life"... <_<

I dont wanna go into arguements over bush in here, there is a nother thread for that, i started a while back.. :)

 

But... You guy are to quick to blame bush and the war for the inadecuacy of our education system. Remember our governer a few months ago? He was the one who led CA to its problems. Everywhere else the education system is as it has been for quite some time now. The money Bush has gotten permission to use from the congress is money that was going to be spent on preserving the agendas of each senator and congressman.. I do not want to list any here.. If you have an argument to make, look at all the facts and know for sure what the money he is using was otherwise gonna be used for. It is a rediculous list, and only satisfies the homelands mostly, of the budget writers.... before you go to argu on education.... CA is the worst right now in that sense, and it is not Bushes fault, it is Davi's fault, he claimed millions of dollars to bogus uneeded prjects that have no signifiacne on the quality of life for us, or our negibors.. again, read the lists, im sure you will have to agree with me, this isnt information i am making up, this is information thats factual, its part of history now :)

 

for further bush discussions, lets keep it in the right thread, cause i just feela mod telling us that anywyas :P LOL...

impression of today!!

 

Studying for 5 hours and its only second week of school, what have i gotten myself into?? I have 18 units all technical, and its kicking m ass. I have 27 hours of class a week, (18 units cause 3 are labs).. and the impression is.. STRESS! i mean really. this is by far the hardest most demanding semester iv had!!!

 

im thinking, what am i gonna do for midterms if im studying 4-6 hours a day for the next day... we are going tohave to had 5 more hours to the day, and invent cofee that tastes better.. and lasts longer.. :) if anyone has this type of cofee i would be please to know..

hmmmm.... although people can be rude and impatient in any given circumstances, there are always people who understand and are willing to cope with things! :)

 

and sleep is awesome...but sux when u sleep irregular hours like from 8pm to 12am then again from 6am to 12pm...thats what happens when youre studying 4 midterms!

no its not.. not for me :) I just either dont sleep, or dont study.. either way things work out.. :) :lol: :lol:

 

NO, really though.. umm. i cant sleep eraly,cause then i dont wanna wake up, so during midterms i sleep usual times, just dont waste to much of my day on other lesser important things.. its called time management at its best HEHE LOl..

Here is an impression...

 

Life can miserably suck sometimes. and nomatter how hard you try to make yourself feel better by saying "itl pass" or "its no big deal" it doesnt help.

 

People that seem like friends will ignore you, people you love will deceive you, friends who love you in your own defiance will turn away from you. A girl you like will pass before you, and you wil lbe speechless, and then it will be to lat. Materialistic bullshi** makes no difference. a 28 thousand dollar truck wont cheer you up. your parents will **seems purposly** disagree and criticise everything you say and do. A computer becomes the means in which you releive some stress, or hope that it will releive some stress... your state of mind becomes so screwed up with a million different thaugths, and a thousand things to do, you loose syntax and confuse yourself.

this day has made me paranoid......everything is annoying to the extreme, the stupidy of 85 years old drivers. the slowness of a red light. the stupid questions of fellow workers.. The slow lines at home depot, the inability to stock items correctly at lowes.

 

In the end, there is no end. days like this is what screw up my perception of life. and when it over, you hope the next day you wont wake up so paranoid..

 

but, the worst part is when "friends" becomes a general term to describe people who are more like, collegues, not friends... people who you have been an angel to and have no reason to be otherwise, yet ignorance is what they breath!

 

Iv had enough of this day... and its only 1:24 on a Sat, why me.

Aww poor gevo...I think you are taking things too seriously...lighten up a bit eh - and be thankful that you are alive - and not starving or cold and poor, or being abducted and raped somewhere - etc etc - things could be much worse...

 

As for me - I am feeling great today! My wife was very appreciative of all the many nice things and beautiful flowers I got for her today...and in my enthusiam at celebrating this day of love! LOL ...and we recently got back from a nice early dinner and a nice show - some West African voudun drummers & dancers (very hot! ...great rythms & movement and nice eye candy for the ladies - LOL)...so wifey is now sleeping it off! LOL

 

ANd also had fun out on the road (as usual) - toyed with some wannah be ravcer in a G35 coup..cameup on him as he was toying with some BMW...proceeded to (easily/without effort) match him move for move through traffic before blowing him off (big time...and man was he already all nervous - as I could tell by his manuevers with me (in the wagon! LOL) right on his tail - unable to shake me - and then to see me blow by him such like he was standing still - yet under his full acceleration - LOL)and I left him well behind struggling to catch up! LOL...ah the little joys...also I test drove a 330i Bmer (w/performance package) earlier this morning and came to the decsion that yes I could live with this car, if forced...LOL

 

So unlike you gevo..the day is only about 2/3 done (and yes quite a busy one...) and I feel very happy & fuflfiled...now I am working with my youngest son designing and fabricating a cool Hopi Kachina mask for his class project Taking a little break of course..)...Its going to be way cool (very radical!)..and I have got some great inspiration form the awesome African masks from the dance....speaking of - while watching the wonderful African voudun dances/dancers - it crossed my mind - once again - how very wrong (and terrible) christianity is - on so many levels...besides being not so much fun...that tribal peoples such as this - so full fo life and the joy of it - are somehow condemned to hell because they have no concept of christ or need or desire to be saved..etc etc...such a vain and terrible god is he...yeah what can I say..these thoughts certainly did cross my mind...

thats nice, and i never fail to thank God for what i do have, and i dont really ask for anything either.. its not how bad it could be, so i should be happy. Its how bad it is.

Well maybe so - though it appears that you are expressing disatisfaction and perhaps even intolerance (of slow old people at least...haven't you heard or passing..or if not possible - patience)...LOL..anyway just messing with you..but in my mind a good christian is someone who is less concerned with his own situation and is more concerned with that of others...or am I reading the wrong passages perhaps?

yes your right, a perfect christian "has" to work all his life and make millions, yet he has to live on the streets because he could use that money for others' satisfaction...
