Well, thank you guys for all the nice and insightful input! (Thoth! my heart is breaking, you might have been it! with all the fulfilled requirements and all!!! :( oh well, maybe in another life!!!) ~~~ sip! algorithmic knowledge...programming capabilities do sound attractive!...but, only if they can be applied to male behaviour pattern(s) and CHANGE IT for the good!!!! (good=woman is happy  ) ~~~anyways, you'll have to pm me on the gadget to shoe size ratio!! are you saying if # gadgets: shoe size is large, that's a good thing??? not too sure on that one! ...think you have your ratio flip-flopped!! :P

SLOW DANCE

Have you ever watched kids

On a merry-go-round?

Or listened to the rain

Slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down.

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last.

Do you run through each day

On the fly?

When you ask How are you?

Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done

Do you lie in your bed

With the next hundred chores

Running through your head?

You'd better slow down

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last.

Ever told your child,

We'll do it tomorrow?

And in your haste,

Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch,

Let a good friendship die

Cause you never had time

To call and say,"hi"

You'd better slow down.

Don't dance so fast.

Time is short.

The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere

You miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day,

It is like an unopened gift....

Thrown away.

Life is not a race.

Do take it slower

Hear the music

Before the song is over.

I hope you don't mind but I took out all the extra > > characters. --Sip

My impression of the day, in couplets:

Life's too short to be over-worked, blearly-eyed, dog-tired, and perhaps most importantly (under-paid!)

Also life's too-short to worry-about stuff like-that ... so here's an actual conversation I overheard today between two chinese guys:

"What's your sickness that you got?"

"I don't know. I am still trying to get it. Did you get it?"

"I'm not sure but I think so. Let me check."

"Wooo Hooo ... Yah! I got it."

Turns out they were doing a homework problem trying to figure out the "thickness" of some slab of metal.

Thank God Armenians are perfect and have no accent problems such that others can laugh at us.... :D

Yeah Bruin...my heart gets broken all the time (nearly every day in the summer!) LOL - But I'm easy...just hang in there - and you might want to possibly look where you haven't ever thought to before. I'm sure you'll find someone who just WOWs you..who is everything you have imagined and much that you haven't even considered (but that can take you to new heights - thrill your world as it were...in all ways!)...Good luck.

Vava - shut up! LOL

thoth :) you ARE sweet! thanks!

and lady o'grace that poem you have ---slow dance--- i got that a while back...they were saying for each e-address you fwd it to, 5cents or so? will be donated by the american cancer society (i think!) for the treatment of the author of the poem...a little girl who has cancer...now, i highly doubt this was a scam since all they were asking for was just to fwd...no strings! but who knows...i hope what they said was the truth...'cause i e-mailed it to like >600 people in our school!! :(

It's gotta be the gayest song they ever sang!!! Well, maybe second gayest after "It's a Happy Nation" :D But I have to admit it's a very good stay awake song when driving on long trips. :)

You know what's funny ?!?!?! After I posted yesterday I went to the nearest Armenian market to do some food shopping and guess what song was playing .... yeap :D It's a beautiful life ...

OK, today's impressions: life sucks. My mood is directly dependant on the weather. And today's weather is the worst, especially for a Sunday.

It's 7 PM and I still have not woken up decently.

today the funniest thing happened.

i was in my car in a parking lot, reading a book and waiting for my sister.

suddenly all three doors opened simultanously and three Armenian women got in, one mumbling to herself: "es inch khozanots a" reffering to the mess in my back seat.

then, they suddenly stared at me with fear, stared at each other, and quickly jumped out.

the whole situation, their facial expressions, were so funny.

i started laughing.

Harut, Im afraid your story is gonna get upstaged.....on the WOW factor at least.....get this:

Went to a friends B'day Party this Saturday. Most of the guys were from my old school, hadnt seen em for while, a lot of catching up....etc. Anyhow, last summer (winter for you guys :)), one of them went backpacking to SouthEast Asia. Spent a month in Cambodia, and a few weeks in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore.....many funny stories....but this is the best - LOL:

While in some part of Cambodia, he found out from some other backpackers about a nearby Regular Army Base. He went there and was presented with a laminated 'menu' of firearms - everything from pistols, to heavy machineguns to grenades(!) - all available for shooting/throwing at a price (LOL), so he tried an AK-47 and threw a grenade etc. Next, his 'guide' tried to convince him to shoot a live chicken with an AK-47 for US$25, but he turned it down. Now the best part of all - back in the backpacker 'hostel' in the nearby major town a serious rumour had it that if you asked, for US$200 you would be given an RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade! - all Soviet arms of course) and a live cow(LMAO) to blow to smitherinnes hhahahaha! - all for Western tourists LOL - Cambodia here I come :D

Impression for the day: The day I stop asking questions will be the day I die. :)

Sip - Then keep on asking questions aper, and never stop! It's your ticket to immortality ;)

I took taxi home today. It was raining, and I was too lazy...

We stopped at a red light, and something weird happened:

the light turned green, and we didn't move. Cars behind us started to honk - and we still didn't move! I looked at the driver, AND HE WAS ASLEEP!!! The man fell sound asleep at a stoplight. I had to wake him up to continue driving me home! Very odd - and frightening too :sleep1:

Speaking of sleep - time for me to turn in, I've been working way too much today....
