Impressions Of The Day

Vava,

I'm beginning to think that Armos are wimps...

Think what you want, but when I said 'exposed to cold' I mean after I play a sport in cold weather, and am drenched in sweat, instead of getting changed immediatelly I bum around for an hour, body tempreture drops, the sweat on the shirt cools, and the pain starts, but I know better now. Might be something genetic, coz my grandfather died of kidney failure when my father was only 3.....

Now, is there any scientific evidence that wearing a short shirt (as opposed to a longer one that covers your entire back) has ANY effect on your internal organs ??? I'll just wait for an answer...

Yes, its called common sense, a part of the body that is covered looses less heat and is less exposed to outside tempreture and wind etc.

...Not on one occasion have I had my lower back exposed to cold for short periods of time and then had some pretty heavy nagging pain from kidneys for several hours.........not a very pleasant experience.

Awww C'mon juggs!! Not from you??!!

I'm beginning to think that Armos are wimps... :(

Do you also get a headache when you sit in an airplane and the overhead fan is blowing on your head??? I thought only my Mom's peers complained of such things! Not someone is their twenties!!

or how about this!!! my dad doesn't go to the movies because he says they have very strong airconditioning in there!!!??? damn right!! i don't wanna be breathing all that unfiltererd air!!! and he's only in his 50's!! i hope i don't turn out that way when i'm older...putting restrictions on myself on where to go and what to do!!

Them's not myths. Vava, it all depends on how people are brought up. Brought up physically protected, you have to keep protecting yourself because you never gave your body that maturity. (I know I have to, thanks to my parents who wrapped me up in layers and layers the traditional way when I was a baby, following my grandmother's "orders.")

It's not just the back or abdomen. There are also the feet, and it is true. If left cold/soggy for too long, I have to go to the bathroom several times for short intervals and small output. :( It just depends on what you're used to. Otherwise how could people possibly live in a place like Moscow?

that's because they are not used it.

-------------

when i was a kid, my parents used to put layers and layers of clothes on me to protect from cold. and ironically i was one of those kids that are always ill, because even little breeze would freeze me.

now, for last 5-6 years, i wear very-very few clothes even in the cold. during the entire first 3-4 months i was ill. then, i guess, my body got used to it. and i haven't been seriously ill for long time now.

tu-tu-tu.

I think its mostly in the mindset. Up to the second last year of high school I got ill a few times a year. But with the last year of school and then university I had a different mindset - cant afford to get ill anymore and actually dont mind going to uni, certainly better than staying at home or working ;) . So I havnt been seriously ill since the last year at school (4 years now) except for today I feel like sh!t and tommorow might be the first day EVER I will miss uni because I am sick, see how I go tonight. :(

I do not think I am going to hang around you losers anymore as the Minister of Finance of Nigeria just sent me 3 letters asking me to help him transfer almost 800 million dollars out of Nigeria. And if I can let them use my savings account as a middle account for 3 days until he can himself setup something out of the country he will give me 5% for my efforts to assist him and the Prince.

I am going to be rich. I am going to be rich. WOOOOHOOOOOOO. I am going to be rich...

I just can't believe that scam artists posing to be nobility from Nigeria are managing to pocket an estimated 9 million $USD a year!! Who falls for this kind of stuff??

Here are some other interesting internet fraud statistics as of 2002.

This ones for the Sip, from the website www.hyehoki.com that organised the Armenian 'disco' couple of weeks back:

With an excellent turn out a great night was enjoyed by all that attended. The biggest complaint was that the nuts were generally too big for the bolts, although we had quite a few matches.

HAHAHAHA

Oh, and the first sentence is a lie, I only enjoyed it coz I was pissed.

LMAO Dude! That's hillarous :D

My impression for today? It's one of the most satisfying things in the world to be told that an idea you gave someone was helpful in their life somehow... especially if they send emails thanking you for it! I usually get about one or two of those a month but today, I got THREE of them ... 2 in email and 1 in person ... B) It was a GOOD day ...

Just when I think I know my officemate (we've been in the same office for a few years now) he goes and says something like this that made me seriously rethink, what I think of him. To make a long story short, he was trying to come up with the most gruesome crime he could think of ... the result? "necrophedophillia". Only a sick sick and twisted mind could come up with a phrase like that. :D

Okay I have few for the day:

1) Just got back from Malibu for dinner tonight at a great restaurant called Nobu. Everything was absolutely terrific. By far the best sushi I have had has been at Nobu. The food was 11 on a scale of 1-10.

2) had major star sightings(yes that is correct sightings). Next to us was James Cameron(the director of Titanic and Terminator), few tables away was a party of 10-15 with Yoko Ono(I know no big deal) but those two were not the biggest sighting of the day by far. Behind us in the corner was Tommy Lee and Pam Lee with their 2 kids and another couple(musician type) and Kid Rock was no where to be found and when they walked out Pam was holding Tommy's hand(yes you heard it first hear from the horses mouth :) )

I swear her breasts are unbelievably HUGE.(sorry to all the ladies)

3) then I got the bill for the dinner. Ouch. But well worth it.

Bruin jan, es incu es espes neghvats tghamartkantsits?
