Rubo, there was really no need for this. I for one agreed not to cause any controversy (with MJ) anymore. I was hoping you'd do the same.

I can assure you that when I am enraged, you would see my rage knocking your door at the locations called "Don't know."

P.S. And it wouldn't look like Christmas gift.

OK, OK, if you really want to know, Martin is the head of a big Freemason-Jewish conspiracy. We are his henchmen.

Dear Brothers,

A critical situation has developed within the rank and file of our Lodge. An enemy has penetrated into our ranks and is about to expose the secret of our sacred ordain to the opponents of our Cause. To identify the enemy, look for his unusual features: balls hanging from under his chin. DO NOT engage with him in arguments. Remember - he always wins. Do apprehend him following the spirit and the letter of our protocol.

To cleanse ourselves from such a blunder we may need to sacrifice the ultimate – Thot’s 88 Bordeaux.

We would also need to convene for the execution of the disciplinary measures applied towards the brother Sip for failing to perform his gate-keeping functions.

Let the spirit of our 12 perished Grandmasters be with you.

Grandmaster MJ

Lodge 13

Oh brothers,

If you would make it to the lodge I would readily make my modest cellar available to you. All of it. And for those that are so inclined some special items such as Cohiba Piramides (Torpedos) that were especially issued for the Millenium, among other pleasant items.

That is because the wrong gatekeeper was chosen. Sip forgets everything that he is suppose to do and runs after the beautiful girls when he sees one.

Not that I would do it any other way.

Now, Harut is even wors on that stage. Thoth is a lost case,

I think the only alternative is Khodja.

And I though that alternative was me.

Unbelievable...

I just figured out that Thoth eats dead turkeys, or better to say turkey corpses...

Thoth,

You are losing your sense of humor again.

Sorry if my unsuccessful joke has hurt you.

Ali,

Let’s rewind the history tape to 1071 A.D. to battle of Manzikert and you will have your answer why Turks became the dominant ethnic group in Anatolia. I guess you’d agree with me that brain does not always prevail over the brawn. It’s a historical fact that the assimilation of the indigenous population of Anatolia was not done peacefully, but rather through brutal use of force. In the case of Armenians you should also note that the underlying social structure was constantly attacked and ruined by distractive Byzantine policies. Most noble families had abandoned Armenia and took refuge in Central Anatolia, where they later established a Kingdom of Cilicia.

The cruelty of Turkish tribes has set a fairly advanced region of its time, Middle East, back a few centuries. In fact the desolate conditions currently evident in the Middle East can be traced back to Turkish influence.

While the examples brought by you about powerful and advanced cultures overwhelming invading barbarians has some merit, yet it fails to look at the other side of the coin. History has seen many instances when barbarians forced assimilation of local indigenous people; Gothic and Germanic tribes in Europe, Turkic tribes in Anatolia just to name a few. I am sure you wouldn’t attribute the fall of Rome to the superiority of Gothic culture over Roman civilization. It is true that Goths took many aspects of Roman civilization, but they have added a distinct Gothic flavor to it. Same things happened in Anatolia. Turkic tribes took many features of Anatolian people and Turkified it. (Hagia Sophia is a perfect example of it).

Hmmmm ... is it just my dirty mind that is under the influence of cheesy late-night cable-TV movies or does that statement really paint a very disturbing picture?

By the way, what gatekeeping? what function? Did I miss something? I saw my name mentioned a couple of times but I didn't understand the context. What worries me, is that it seemed to be in the same context as Harut and Hagarag

I had some time to get away from this forum and think about it. What is really disturbing, is how some core old boy mentality people on this forum have demonstrated time after time again that if not capable to debate then slander the person who raises real legitimate questions. Closest analogy is how political bureaucrats operate in Armenia regardless weather they are qualified for the job or not but was hired probably due to bribes or being cousin to some old fart. Mostly these incapable bureaucrats stifle the life force out of people and fresh views and whistle blowers hated with a vengeance, since it threatens their comfort redundant lifestyles. The similarities are striking. I raised legitimate points time after time on this forum but instead this guy MJ rather paint me some kind of Jew hater (didn’t work) or some fanatic (didn’t work either) and in the end preached the rest of the morally bankrupt not to debate with me, and why not? Are you that weak!! Are you intellectually that inferior? I don’t think so but the truth is I refuse to kiss ass and that is who I am never did never will.

MJ assumes some kind of leadership role here? Nothing can be further from the truth. True leader encompasses, embraces all Armenians and would not alienate and trash others who think differently. I am certain that after this post I will get another stupid remarks by MJ and his cronies (what else to expect…) but I needed to say this anyway. It is sad that Ara Baliozian’s sentence has proven true time and again

“Disagree with an Armenian and make an enemy for life”

To BOF's defence he was (once) a great contributor (and a moderator) to this forum, and this is probably the reason why many forumers and moderators eat his humble pie and dont complain. But for the past year (at least) his posts contain more jokes and insults (about other forumers) than constructive material.

And dont get me wrong, I dont mind a laugh at my expense, but latelly he has become rather blunt and repetitive.

Dear Rubo,

I do think MJ has completely misread you. There are indeed cliques of people on the forum that resonate with one another at some level, and are therefore more lenient on one another; and that's alright. This "personal chemistry" can be manifest beautifully, and conversely its lack often causes an ugly mess, as in between you and MJ. I would like to implore you two to start afresh, with a clean slate to the best of your abilities. One can attach various adjectives to some of MJ's attitudes, but he can (and to some extent should) get away with it by virtue of his other, more valuable "cerebral" contributions. On the other hand, I do miss his earlier, more sober contributions and style. Then again, who I am to talk; I haven't contributed much weighty myself lately.

And,

Dear MJ,

Please reconsider your attitude towards Rubo. He seems to be a sensitive, open-minded, and thoughtful individual. From what he writes, he is a good father, which, in my opinion, measures a man's intellectual value better than many other "traditional" measures. He is sometimes hot-headed perhaps; but then that isn't far outside of our norm, is it? Again, please try to start with a clean slate, and give him the benefit of the doubt. And when you think he is flat wrong, please try to debate it cerebrally, rather than falling prey to the obvious lack of personal chemistry. One day you may even like him.

And,

To others,

I am disappointed that you participated in this tar-and-feather virtual lynching of Rubo by the apparently unjustified implication that he is some sort of A.R.-style conspiracy-theorist. Perhaps I am too thick and missed something, but he doesn't seem to be the type. Please get a grip on your mob-instincts.

I apologize for the preaching; but somebody had to say it.

HI TB, thanks for helping us to coexist.I do appriciate that.I assumed maybe wrongly that forum envirnment is perfect to dibate and learn from eachother but so far it has become character slandering game.I do wish for a change people to stick with the subject at discussion and dibate like adults. It only alinates potential newcomers from participation since nobody would like to be called Khodja and crap on regular bases.I will only dibate ,any perssonal attack will be ignored.Cheers and yes lets do start afresh.
