Or do they golf often? Well: a little bit of offense, no defence, & definately NOT physical in any sense = missed the playoffs again.They do have good goaltending however.... They had LITTLE offense, NO defense, and NOT physical at all - or if they were physical, they were at the wrong place at the wrong time. They had GREAT goaltending: Belfour made a lot of saves. If the Leafs had say Lalime for a goalie, they would've been defeated 16-1, not 6-1. Not surprisingly, I had predicted that the game would end 6-1. Basketball is for blacks what Hockey is for whites. Or that's the way analogy goes. Wow, I've never even seen a black man in hockey. At least I can see white men in basketball. Last year, a few low-life Montreal fans (yes, I'm very VERY embarrassed) threw banana peels on the ice during the playoffs. Not cool. Another they didn't mention: Grant Fuhr (a famous goalie - who won 5 Stanley cups) although he was kind of mulatto - (a little like Iginla...) Dan Posted May 3, 2003 Report Share Posted May 3, 2003 Ahhhh. The Canucks did it again. Tied the game 2-2 in the last minutes of the 3rd period and scored an OT goal. The Wild d-men aren't consistent. I guess the salts didn't awaken Manny Fernandez enough. LOL It was a good game, certainly less boring than the previous Wild vs. Canucks games. Some bad calls by refs again though. Canucks lead the series 3-1. Now the Sens have a tough fight with the Flyers, and the Flyers are the team I'd bet on if I were asked who I thought would win the Stanley cup. So far, the Sens are golfing. The Canucks have shown to be one of the best (if not THE best) team in Canada. They play some very exciting hockey, good offence, GREAT defence, great goaltending, pretty smart moves and very physical confrontation. Seems to be the perfect mixture to reach the finals, but then again, who knows? The Blues were leading the series 3-1 and the Canucks with a huge come-back won the series 4-3. Ottawa's got an explosive team, but they're not physically very tough - the Flyers will give them a good pounding & even if the Sens win the series, I'm not sure that they'll have enough left to get by NJ.
