SDHP: Some Turkish organizations offer reward for each Armenian killed in Syria

Chairman of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) Narek Galstyan met with Syrian Charge D’Affaires in Armenia Issam Nayal at the Syrian Embassy in Yerevan, the press service of SDHP reported.

Issam Nayal conveyed his gratitude to Armenia and the Armenian people for a balanced approach to the Syrian problem and stressed the role of Syrian Armenians in reinforcing peace in the country.

Narek Galstyan for his part stressed the importance of maintaining the territorial integrity of Syria as well as establishing peace in the fraternal country.

Referring to regional problems, Narek Galstyan said that Turkey hinders establishment of peace in Syria. He noted that the international media have repeatedly said that “Turkey does everything possible so that no Christians, particularly Armenians, will remain in Syria.”

Narek Galstyan also said that rumors circulate that “some Turkish organizations have offered a reward for each killed Armenian.”

Issam Nayal expressed hope that peace will be established in Syria soon and intensive political, economic and cultural ties will resume between Yerevan and Damascus.

Armenian Slaughtered for Refusing to Renounce Christ

Following the other day’s news that two Armenian families in Syria had been compelled to convert to Islam at the hands of the terrorist organization, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)—which, nonetheless, claimed that the conversions were done “willingly”—new information has emerged concerning the recent killing of a young Armenian man, Minas, for refusing to convert to Islam, again at the hands of ISIL.

He was reportedly killed in one of ISIL’s dungeons in Aleppo, north Syria, which has a notable Armenian minority.

According to iNews, “Minas and his father were held in ISIL’s prison for 115 days, according to one activist, and his accusation was that he refused to submit [to Islam, i.e., convert].”

iNews adds that activists from the region sent the above picture, saying it is of the slain Minas. Other activists confirm that the picture is of a slain Armenian in Syria, but not of Minas. In any case, the man appears to be wearing the garments of the Armenian Evangelical Church of Aleppo.

The same report mentions other Christian Armenians killed, including one who reportedly had “his head chopped off and placed in a biscuit box.”

Ինչպես արդեն նշել ենք վերլուծության նախորդ մասում, միջազգային զեկույցներում ու ԶԼՄ-ներում ադրբեջանցի սունի վարձկանների մասին հիշատակումները սկսվեցին 2013թ. գարնանը: Եթե անցած տարիների ընթացքում Աֆղանստանում ու Պակիստանում 200-250 ադրբեջանցի գրոհայինների ներգրավվածությունը «Թալիբանի» եւ «Ալ-Քաիդայի» խմբավորումներում նորություն չէր, ապա անցնող տարեվերջի դրությամբ Սիրիայում կռվող ծայրահեղականների շարքերում արդեն մի քանի հարյուր ադրբեջանցիների վավերագրված փաստը լուրջ անակնկալ էր: Ըստ որում, ադրբեջանցիները գերազանցապես ներկայացված են երկու խմբավորումներում՝ «Ալ-Քաիդայի» բջիջը համարվող «Ջաբհաթ ալ-Նուսրա»-ում (Ալ-Նուսրա ճակատ) եւ «Ջեյշ ալ-Մուհաջիրին վա ալ-Անսար»-ում (Էմիգրանտների եւ անսարների բանակ), որի հրամանատարությունը ստանձնել է «Կովկասի էմիրաթներ»-ը:

Կովկասի Էմիրաթները եւ Ադրբեջանը

Ինչպես 2013թ. մարտին հաղորդեց «Կովկասի էմիրաթներ» խմբավորման պաշտոնական կայքերից Kavkaz Center-ը, Սիրայում Ամիր Ումար աշ-Շիշանի հրամանատարությամբ կռվող Քաթաիբ ալ-Մուհաջիրին (Մուհաջիրների բրիգադ) ստորաբաժանմանը միացան սիրիական մոջահեդների «Խատտաբ» եւ «Ջեյշ Մուհամմադ» բրիգադները: Դրա արդյունքում որոշում ընդունվեց միացյալ բրիգադները վերակազմավորել բանակի, ըստ այդմ՝ հայտարարվեց Մուհաջիրների եւ անսարների բանակի («Ջեյշ ալ-Մուհաջիրին վա ալ-Անսար») ստեղծման մասին, որում այդ ժամանակ հաշվվում էր 1000-ից ավելի մոջահեդ, «նրա դրոշի ներքո կռվում էին տարբեր երկրներից կամավոր մահմեդականներ, այդ թվում՝ Կովկասի էմիրաթներից»: Արաբական Al-Quds Al-Arabi լրատվամիջոցը նույնպես հաստատեց «Ալ-մուհաջիրիների» (թարգմանաբար՝ էմիգրանտներ) կազմում չեչենական ստորաբաժանման եւ դրանում մինչեւ հազար մարդու ներգրավվածության մասին: Բանակը ղեկավարում էր չեչեն Աբու Աբդուրահմանը, ով սպանվեց 2013թ. ապրիլին: Տեղակայված լինելով եւ հիմնականում գործելով Հալեպի պրովինցիայում, նրանց համար ստեղծվել էր հատուկ ճամբար (Խանդարաթ բազան), որտեղ մինչեւ կառավարական զորքերի դեմ կռիվ գնալը «Կովկասյան էմիրաթների» խողովակով կամ այլ կերպ ծայրահեղական խմբավորմանը անդամագրվածները ռազմական նախապատրաստություն էին/են անցնում:

«Կովկասի էմիրաթներ» կազմակերպությունը ստեղծվել է 2007թ.՝ չեչենական անջատողական շարժման տրանսֆորմացիայի արդյունքում, ընդատակում գտնվողների, մասնավորապես՝ Իչկերիայի չեչենական հանրապետության նախագահ Դոկկա Ումարովի կողմից: Ավանդույթով «Կովկասի էմիաթները» ղեկավարել են չեչեններ, թեպետ ռազմական ընդատակի ակտիվության կենտրոնը 2009թ.-ից տեղափոխվել է Դաղստան: Այն Հյուսիսային Կովկասի վարչատարածքային սահմաններին հանգույն ունի բավական լավ ճյուղավորված կառուցվածք՝ վիլայաթներ (Նոխչիյչո վիլայաթ (Չեչնիա), Գալգայչո վիլայաթ (Ինգուշեթիա եւ Հյուսիսային Օսիա), Չերքեսիա վիլայաթ (Ինգուշեթիա եւ Կրասնոդարի երկրամասի հարավ), Դաղստանի վիլայաթ, Կաբարդայի, Բալկարի (Կաբարդինո-Բալկարիա) եւ Կարաչայի (Կարաչայ-Չերքեսիայի մեծ մասը) համատեղ վիլայաթ, Նոգայ տափաստանի (Կրասնոդարի երկրամասի հյուսիսային մասը եւ Ստավրոպոլի երկրամասը) վիլայաթ, Իրիստոնի (Հյուսիսային Օսիա) վիլայաթ, որը 2009թ. կազմալուծվեց ու միացվեց Գալգայչո վիլայաթին): Յուրաքանչյուր վիլայեթում նշանակվում է ամիր եւ քադի (դատավոր):

Չնայած դրան, «Կովկասի էմիրաթների» կազմում հատկապես ռազմական գործունեության համար ստեղծվել են նաեւ դրա աշխարհագրական սահմանները գերազանցող մարմիններ՝ ջամաատներ: Մասնավորապես Սիրայում ստեղծվել են ադրբեջանական, ղրիմի, վրացական, թուրքական եւ այլ ջամաատներ: Ադրբեջանի ջամաատի ամիր էր նշանակվել 2013թ. սեպտեմբերին սպանված Աբու Յախյա ալ Ազերին, Ղրիմի ջամաատի ամիր՝ Իբրահիմ Աբդուլքարիմը, Վրաստանի էթնիկ չեչենեների համար՝ ամիր Թարխան Բատիրաշվիլին կամ նույն ինքը՝ ամիր Ումար աշ-Շիշանին եւ այսպես շարունակ: Դեռեւս 2007թ. Դոկկա Ումարովն ինքն էր հաստատել, որ ապստամբական շարժումն այլեւս «իրեն չի սահմանափակում Չեչնիայի սահմաններով», որ «բազմազգ Կովկասի հազարավոր մոջահեդներ ոտքի են ելել Ջիհադին մասնակցելու համար» եւ «մեր բազաները սփռված են Ադրբեջանից մինչեւ Աբխազիա»:

Արդեն չեչենական 2-րդ պատերազմի ժամանակ հայտնի փաստ դարձավ, որ Ադրբեջանի տարածքն օգտագործվում է հազարավոր վարձկանների ու մոջահեդների` Չեչնիա ներթափանցելու համար: Այդ ուղին այսօր էլ անխափան գործում է, սակայն, այս անգամ՝ «Կովկասի էմիրաթների» վիլայաթներից՝ Չեչնիայից, Դաղստանից, Կաբարդինո-Բալկարիայից, Հյուսիսային Կովկասի ու Ռուսաստանի հարավի այլ վայրերից հավաքագրված վարձկանների ու մոջահեդներին Սիրիա փոխադրելու համար: Ահաբեկչության հարցերով բազմաթիվ փորձագետներ, այդ թվում՝ Հյուսիսային Կովկասի իսլամական ուսումնասիրությունների կենտրոնի տնօրեն Ռուսլան Գերեեւը, Միջազգային ճգնաժամային խմբից եւ այլք հայտնել են, որ Հյուսիսային Կովկասից Սիրիա վարձկանների տրանզիտի համար օգտագործվում են Թուրքիայի, Ադրբեջանի եւ Աջարիայի տարածքները: Դրան առնչվող փաստեր հայտնվել են նաեւ ռուսական «Известия», «Росбалт», «Петербургский дневник» լրատվամիջոցներում:

Տասնամյակով վարձկաններին ու ֆանատ մահմեդականներին պահանջված վայրը փոխադրելու ուղին, որը ներառում է Ադրբեջանը, ինչպեսեւ՝ Դոկկա Ումարովի հիշատակած բազաներից մեկի այնտեղ գտնվելը, վկայում են նրա մասին, որ այդ երկիրն ու նրա ղեկավարությունը որոշակի կապեր է պահպանում իսլամիստական ու ահաբեկչական խմբավորումների եւ ցանցերի հետ: Այլապես, դժվար թե Ադրբեջանում, որտեղ երկրի իշխանությունները վերահսկում են ամեն մեկի ու ամեն մի տեղաշարժը, տեղյակ չեն դրա մասին կամ չեն կարողանում կանխել «վարձկան տուրիզմը»: Ավելին, մեծ վստահությամբ կարելի է պնդել, որ Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարությունը վարձկանների ու մահապարտ մահմեդականների մատակարարաման հարցում սերտորեն համագործակցում է ընդդեմ Ասադի կառավարության ռազմական գործողություններն ու խմբավորումներին համակարգող Թուրքիայի ղեկավարության հետ, որտեղ եւս գործում են վարձկաններ/մոջահեդներ հավաքագրելու ու վարժեցնելու ճամբարներ:

Չնայած նրան, որ «Կովկասի էմիրաթներ» կազմակերպությունը գործում է ընդհանուր հրամանատարության եւ նպատակների վրա, այն մնում է ապակենտրոնացված եւ բարձր ինքնակազմակարեպմամբ: Կազմակերպությունը տասանորդական հարկ է նշանակել բիզնեսի եւ իշխանության վրա. նրա ներկայացուցիչները ժամանակ առ ժամանակ ստանում են տեղական ամիրի տեսաուղերձը պարունակող էլեկտրոնային կրիչ, որում պահանջվում է վճարել «ջիհադի հարկը»: Այդպիսով, բացի գաղափարական շարժառիթներով «ջիհադի հարկը» վճարելը, առկա է նաեւ ռեկետ եւ քրեական տնտեսություն:

Կազմակերպությունն ունի օպերատիվ աշխատող բազմալեզու կայք՝ Kavkaz Center, իսկ Սիրիայում կռվող «դրսեկ սունի ապստամբները» հենց ռուսալեզու լսարանի համար պահում են FIsyria կայքը, որոնք ոչ միայն ծառայեցվում են անհավատների դեմ ջիհադի մասին նորություններ ու զեկույցներ տարածելու, այլեւ նորեկներին հավաքագրելու համար: Ռեկետի ու կրիմինալ տնտեսության արդյունքում հավաքագրված ֆինանսական միջոցները եւ «Ալ-Քաիդայից» ֆինանսական հատկացումները օգտագործվում են թե’ հավատավոր մահմեդականներ հավաքագրելու ու նրանց ընտանիքներին ֆինանսավորելու, թե’ մարդասպաններ վարձելու ու նրանց վճարելու համար, ըստ որում՝ ընդհուպ Ռուսաստանից ու սլավոնական ծագմամբ:

Մոջահեդներին միանալ ցանկացողների համար վերոնշյալ կայքերում տեղադրվել են բաց հայտարարություններ. ջիհադին միանալ ցանկացողները կարող են անդամագրվել իրենց ցանկացած խմբավորմանը, պարտավոր են հրաժեշտ տալ նախկին կյանքին ու ապրելաձեւին, ենթարկվել համընդհանուր կանոններին՝ ներքուստ պատրաստ լինել ջիհադին, սկսնակները պետք հատուկ ճամբարում անցնեն 35-40 օրյա մուասկարա՝ ռազմական վարժանքներ, 4 ամիս դուրս չգան Սիրայի սահմաններից անձնական ու ընտանեկան դրդապատճառներով (բացառությամբ ղեկավարության կողմից անհատական մոտեցման դեպքերի): Նրանց միայն 6 ամիս Սիրայում անցկացնելուց հետո է թույլատրվում այնտեղ տանել իրենց ընտանիքներին, չամուսնացածներին թույլատրվում է ամուսնանալ միայն ջիհադի մեկ տարին լրանալուց հետո, ամուսնական արարողության եւ մոջահեդների ընտանիքներին ապրելու համար Բայթուլ-մալից տրամադրվում է ֆինանսական օգնություն եւ սննդամթերք: Մնացած պայմանները ենթակա են դեմ առ դեմ քննարկման...:

Այսպես. անցած տարի Ռուսաստանում մեծ աղմուկ եւ մտահոգություն հարուցեցին ոչ միայն Սիրիայում հյուսիսկովկասյան ազգությունների կամ Ռուսաստանի այլ տարածքներից սունի մահմեդականների աճող ներգրավվածության փաստերը, այլեւ հենց «Սլավոնական կորպուսի» (Slavonic Corps Limited) ներկայությունը, որը Սանկտ Պետերբուրգից վարձկանների ջոկատ էր՝ պայմանագրով ու որոշակի վարձավճարի դիմաց Սիրիա հրավիրված, որի անդամները սկզբում կարծել են, թե Սիրիա են մեկնում ռուսական ու սիրական իշխանությունների ոչ բացահայտ պայմանավորվածության հիման վրա, սակայն այնտեղ այդպես էլ չեն հասկացել, թե ում կողմից են կռվում (ավելի շատ հակված են կարծելու, թե կռվել են Ասադի ուժերի կողմից): Մյուս կողմից էլ` անցած ապրիլին Սիրիայի հյուսիսում Ռաքքա քաղաքի մոտ գտնվող Մաշխադ Ռուխին գյուղը գրավվել էր Աստրախանի բնակիչներ Աբու Խալիֆի (Շամիլ Իզմայիլով) եւ Աբու Բանատեի (Մահոմեդ Աբդուրախմանով) կողմից, որը ստացավ «ռուսական գյուղ» անվանումը, եւ որտեղ Եգիպտոսում կրոնական կրթություն ստացած, հավատացյալ մահմեդականներ դարձած ու «սրբազան պատերազմին» միացած ռուսաստանցի այդ գրոհայինները փորձել էին դաժան մեթոդներով հաստատել «անկախ խալիֆայություն»՝ շարիայի օրենքներով:

Հավաքագրվելու թե ֆինանսական, թե կրոնական շարժառիթներ առկա է նաեւ ադրբեջանցիների պարագայում: Բացի «Ալ-Քաիդայի» հետ սերտորեն կապված ֆունդամենտալիստական խմբավորումներում մահապարտ կռվողներից, առկա են նաեւ պարզ վարձկաններ: Անցած տարի հոկտեմբերին Սիրայում կռվող ադրբեջանցիների ու նրանց վարքագծի մասին ուշագրավ վկայություն տվեց բրիտանացի վիրաբույժ Դեվիդ Նոտը, ով հինգ շաբաթ կամավոր էր աշխատել Սիրիայի հիվանդանոցներից մեկում եւ իր գործընկերների հետ ականատես եղել սահմռկեցուցիչ ու դժոխային փաստի. սննդամթերք բերելու համար փոխհրաձգության գոտով անցնող հղի կանայք եւ երեխաները պարբերաբար կենդանի թիրախ էին դառնում դիպուկահարների համար: Մի քանի շաբաթյա դիտարկումների հիման վրա բրիտանացի բժշկի բացահայտած օրինաչափության համաձայն՝ դիպուկահարները կրակում էին բացառապես հղի կանանց փորին, կրծքերին, վզին: Իսկ բժշկին ու նրա գործընկերներին հասած տեղեկության համաձայն, պահանջված քանակությամբ «թիրախներ» խոցելու դիմաց նրանք վարձատրվել են մի քանի տուփ ծխախոտով: Եւ վերջապես, Նոտը բրիտանական The Times-ի էր փոխանցել իր լսած ասեկոսեները, թե դիպուկահարները Ադրբեջանից ու Չինաստանից հրավիրված վարձկաններ են, որոնք աշխատում են Ասադի վարչակազմի համար, ինչը, ըստ լրագրողի, անհնար էր պարզել:

Եթե արեւմտյան կառավարությունները ֆինանսավորում են հիմնականում Ասադի աշխարհիկ, ժողովրդամետ հակառակորդներին, եւ մտահոգվում նրանց կողքին կռվող ու ահաբեկչության հետ կապ ունեցող խմբավորումների համար, ապա Սաուդյան Արաբիան եւ Թուրքիան չեն խորշում լավ վարձատրել նույնիսկ «Ալ-Քաիդայի» հետ կապ ունեցող ահաբեկչական կազմավորումներին: Իսկ փող աշխատելու հեռանկարը չի կարող գրավիչ չլինել Ադրբեջանի ու այլ երկրների՝ աղքատության բարձր ցուցանիշներ ունեցող հասարակությունների անդամների համար. այդ երկրներում քիչ չեն նրանք, ովքեր կարող են «հաճելին»՝ կրոնական պարտքը կատարելը, համատեղել «օգտակարի»՝ փող աշխատելու հետ:

Ինչպես կնկատենք հաջորդիվ, Սիրայում իր երկրից մեծաքանակ «ապստամբների» ներգրավվածության համար Ադրբեջանը Դամասկոսի ու աշխարհի առջեւ արդարացավ մարդկանց «ազատ ընտրությամբ»: Մինչդեռ վերը բերված փաստերից իրականությունն այլ է. Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները, կարծես թե, պաշտոնական մակարդակով Ասադին են տրամադրում վարձու դիպուկահարներ, իսկ Թուրքիայի հետ աշխարհաքաղաքական խաղերի շրջանակում անուղղակի մատակարարում են հավատավոր մոջահեդներ Ադրբեջանից, Հյուսիսային Կովկասից, Կենտրոնական Ասիայից՝ նրանց փոխադրելով Թուրքիա Ասադի վարչակազմի դեմ կռվելու համար:

Հավաքագրման գործընթացում ֆինանսական խթանիչներից զատ էական դեր են խաղում նաեւ կրոնական տեքստերը եւ դրանց ծայրահեղական մեկնաբանությունները: Վերջին տասնամյակում ու տարիներին Հյուսիսային Կովկասի, Ադրբեջանի, Թուրքիայի իսլամականացումը նպաստավոր հող է ստեղծել, որպեսզի երիտասարդները կրոնական կրթություն ստանալու համար մեկնեն Սաուդյան Արաբիա, Եգիպտոս, Եմեն եւ այլուր, եւ ոչ միայն «ուսման», այլեւ հենց իրենց երկրներում հավաքագրման լավ հումք դառնան: 2013թ. գարնանից այդպիսիսիներին հավաքագրելու բազում ուղերձներ հղեցին հենց «Կովկասի էմիրաթներ» կազմակերպության տարբեր ջամաատների ամիրներ՝ «հավատավոր եղբայրներին» կոչ անելով միանալ «սրբազան պատերազմին»՝ Սիրայի դեմ ջիհադին:

Իսլամական կրոնական տեքստերում՝ հադիսներում Սիրայի Շամ երկրամասը հիշատակվում է որպես Ալլահի ընտրյալ հող, որտեղ պետք է հաստատվեն նրա կանոնները՝ Շարիայի օրենքները ու խալիֆաթ: Սակայն, ֆունդամենտալիստների ու ծայրահեղականների մատուցմամբ, քանի որ Ասադի վարչախումբը թույլ չի տալիս այնտեղ իսլամական պետություն հաստատել, բնականաբար նրանք «սրբազան հողում Բարձրյալի խոսքը հռչակելու համար ջիհադ են հայտարարել» Սիրայի ղեկավարությանն ու նրան սատարող բոլոր անհավատներին: Տարբեր երկրներում՝ Ադրբեջանում, Ռուսաստանում, Հյուսիսային Կովկասում, Ղրիմում ու այլուր ապրող մահմեդականներին էլ ներկայացվում է, թե «եկել է մարգարեւության ի կատար ածվելու ժամանակը»:

Դեռեւս 2013թ. ապրիլի 27-ին համացանցում տարածվեց մի տեսանյութ, որտեղ փակած դեմքով ադրբեջանցի վարձկանը ադրբեջաներեն կոչ էր անում իր հայրենակիցներին միանալ ջիհադին. «Ես այստեղ եմ աջակցելու եւ օգնելու իմ ադրբեջանցի այն հայրենակիցներին, ովքեր բոլորն այստեղ են... մենք, որպես մոջահեդների խումբ, հավատում ենք Ալլահի կամոք դեպի Դամասկոս ճանապարհին մեր շուտափույթ հաղթանակին: Մենք համագործակցում ենք [Ջեյշ ալ Մուհաջիրին վա ալ Անսար բանակի] մեր եղբայրների հետ, ովքեր իրենց կազմում նույնպես ներառում են թուրքական ծագումով, արաբներից եւ կովկասի էթնիկ խմբերից շատ այլոց: Ես կոչ եմ անում բոլոր մուսուլման հավատացյալներին, մեր եղբայրներին Ադրբեջանում միանալ մեր ջիհադին, քանի որ դա է Ալլահի հրամանը եւ դրան ենթարկվելու մեր պարտքը: Ես հրավիրում եմ մեր բոլոր եղբայրներին միանալ մեզ: Դուք չեք կարող Ադրբեջանում տանը նստել եւ ականատես լինել նրան, ինչ կատարվում է մեր եղբայրների հետ Սիրայում իրենց պայքարի ժամանակ: Մեր հաղթանակը շուտ է գալու: Մենք ձեզ հրավիրում ենք միանալու ջիհադին: Ուզում եմ առիթն օգտագործել` ձեզ բոլորիդ հիշեցնելով, որ համացանցում շատ կեղծ տեսանյութեր կան, որ շրջանառվում են մեր անունից: Մի հավատացեք դրանց: Մենք սա ենք. մեր բնագիր տեսանյութերը կրում են մեր դրոշի լոգոն, որը կարող եք տեսնել հենց իմ հետեւում: [խոսում է չեչեն եւ ադրբեջանցի գրոհայինների մասին]: Բարձրյալի կամոք մենք հաստատելու ենք Շարիայի իսլամական օրենքներ, այնպես որ զգուշացեք որոշ կեղծ տեսանյութերից այն խմբերի մասին, որոնք փորձում են նմանակել մեզ: Մեր անունն է՝ Ջեյշ ալ-Մուհաջիրին վա ալ-Անսար եւ մենք հաջողելու ենք Ալլահի կամոք: Ի վերջո, Ալլահը չի սիրում այն մարդկանց, ովքեր սուտ են տարածում, այնպես որ՝ մեզ վարկաբեկելու բոլոր վատ փորձերն էլ ձախողելու են: Ամէն: Ամենավերջում թույլ տվեք ձեզ ասել, որ Ադրբեջանում նստելով դուք չեք կարող օգնել: Որպես մոջահեդ եկեք այս երկիր [Սիրիա] եւ Ալլահը մեզ կօգնի մեր վերջնական հաղթանակի գործում»:

2013թ. մայիսին «Ջեյշ ալ-Մուհաջիրին վա ալ-Անսարի» ադրբեջանական ջամաատի ամիրը՝ Աբու Յախյա ալ Ազերին անձամբ ադրբեջաներեն կոչով դիմեց մահմեդական հայրենակիցներին ջիհադին միանալու կոչով: Ի տարբերություն իր նախորդի, ով բավարարվել էր առանց խորը գաղափարական բացատրությունների հավատավոր ադրբեջանցիներին կոչ անելով, ամիրը դրա համար բերեց կրոնական հիմնավորումներ, որոնք մյուս ամիրներ են մեջբերել իրենց հայրենակիցներին դիմելիս: Իր ուղերձում նա ադրբեջանցի եղբայրներին հիշեցնում էր Շամում ջիհադի կարեւորության եւ մարգարեական նախախանամության մասին, փորձելով հերքել մահմեդականների շրջանում տարածված այն տեսակետները, թե «նրան այստեղ կռվում են փողի համար», «այստեղ նրանց Ամերիկան օգնում է» եւ այլն: «Մենք այստեղ չենք կռվում ո’չ Ամերիկայի, ո’չ Ռուսաստանի համար: Ալլահի ճանապարհով մեր պայքարը կայանում է բացառապես այս տարածքների վրա Նրա օրենքի հաստատման մեջ: Շատ եղբայրներ են եկել այստեղ իրենց ընտանիքներով, ջիհադ են կատարում, քույրեր են գալիս այստեղ իրենց երեխաների հետ միասին»: Այնուհետեւ ադրբեջանական ջամաատի ամիրը մեջբերում է մի հադիս, որտեղ Աբդուլլա իբն Խավալյան փոխանցում է, թե Ալլահի բանբերն ասել է. «Բանը կհասնի նրան, որ դուք կդառնաք հատընտիր զորքեր՝ զորք Շամում, զորք Եմենում եւ զորք Իրաքում»: Նա հիշեցրել էր Իբն Խավալյայի այն մարգարեւությունը, որտեղ ասվում է. «Օհ, Ալլահի բանբեր, ընտրիր իմ համար՝ եթե ես հայտնվեմ այդ ժամանակում»: Իսկ Ալլահի բանբերն էլ պատասխանում է. «Ուղեւորվիր Շամ, քանի որ իրավամբ Իր հողերից Ալլահն ընտրել է այդ հողը, եւ դրա համար Նա իր ստրուկներից ընտրում է լավագույններին: Եթե դուք չեք կամենում, ապա ուղեւորվեք ձեր Եմենը եւ ըմպեք ձեր աղբյուրներից: Իրավամբ, Ալլահն ինձ երաշիք է տվել Շամի ու նրա բնակիչների համար»: Ինչպես Աբու Յախյա ալ Ազերին է վերաշարադրում մարգարեւությունը՝ շեյխ Ալբանին հաստատել է հադիսի ճշմարտացիությունը. «Հակիմն ասում է՝ «իսնադ հադիսա-սախիխ» եւ դրա հետ համաձայնում է Զախաբին: Իսկ Րաբիան ասում է. «Ես լսեցի, թե ինչպես Աբու-Իդրիսն ասաց. «... իսկ նա, ում համար երաշխավորել է Ալլահը, նրան մահ չկա»»: Աբու Յախյա ալ Ազերին մահմեդական հայրենակիցներին է փոխանցում նաեւ Աբդուլլա իբն Խավալյայի այս խոսքերը. «Օհ, Ալլահի բանբեր, նկարագիր ինձ այն երկիրը, որտեղ ես լինելու եմ: Եթե ես իմանայի, որ դու կմնաս, ապա ես չէի ընտրի [երկիրը, որտեղ ես եմ ապրում], որպեսզի քո կողքին լինեի»: Եւ Ալլահը ասում է. «գնա Շամ, գնա Շամ, գնա Շամ»:

Իր ուղերձում սրբազան գրքերով ու մարգարեություններով հիմնավորելով մղվող կռիվը, Աբու Յախյա ալ Ազերին փաստորեն հիմնավորում է, թե ինչո՞ւ Սիրիա եւ ինչո՞ւ Շամ, որտեղ «Ջեյշ ալ-Մուհաջիրին վա ալ-Անսարը» եւ տասնյակներով ադրբեջանցիներ թեժ մարտեր են մղում Սիրիայի կառավարական ուժերի դեմ. «Մենք այստեղ մեր շարիաթական հանձնախումբն ունենք, բոլոր հարցերը լուծում են նրանց միջոցով: Նաեւ, մեր քաթիբում են աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներից մոջահեդներ: Ճանապարհը դեպի Սիրա բաց է, եկեք մեզ մոտ, մեր համար դուա կատարեք»,- կոչը եզրափակում է նա:

Նույն շրջանում համանման կոչով իրենց երկրների մուսուլմաններին դիմեցին ահաբեկչական այդ խմբավորման այլ ամիրներ եւս: Այսպես. մայիսի 28-ին ուղերձով դիմեցին Ղրիմի ջամաատի ամիր Աբդուլքարիմը, ով ռազմական գործողությունների ժամանակ վիրավորվել էր, եւ ամիր Սեյֆուլլահը (բառացի նշանակում է՝ «Ալլահի թուր», իսկ իսլամական աշխարհում այն տիտղոս է, ոը առաջինը տրվել է իսլամական զորավար Խալիդ իբն Վալիդին՝ Մուհամմեդ մարգարեի զինակցին, իսկ ներկայումս այն իսլամական պատվավոր կոչում է մուսուլմանների համար, ովքեր աչքի են ընկնում անհավատների դեմ իսլամի հաղթանակի գործում մարտական սխրանքի դեպքում): Վերջինս հավատացյալներին կոչ արեց «չվհատվել եւ չտխրել Ալլահի ճանապարհին» Ղրիմի ջամաատի ամիրի ստացած վերքից, քանի որ դա ընդամենը Բարձրյալի փորձությունն է. «Մեր եղբայր Աբդուլքարիմը վիրավոր է: Նա գործողություն է ղեկավարել բանտում: ԱլխամդուլիԼլյահ, որեւէ լուրջ բան նրա հետ տեղ չի ունեցել»,- պատմել էր ամիր ՍեյֆուԼլահը: Իսկ Ղրիմի ջամաատի ամիր Իբրահիմ Աբդուլքարիմն էլ վերքերի մեջ կարճ պաթետիկ կոչ էր արել. «Պետք է կռվել Ալլահի ճանապարհին, պետք է վեր բարձրացնել Ալլահի անունը: Մենք տեսնում ենք, թե ինչպես տուգուտը (կեղծ աստվածությունը) չի ցանկանում, որպեսզի այս հողի վրա շարիա լինի: ԻնշաաԼլահ, մենք կռվելու ենք Բարձրյալի ճանապարհին: Եկեք մեզ մոտ»:

Հունիսի 7-ին կոչով Թուրքիայի մուսուլմաններին դիմեց նույն ամիր ՍեյֆուԼլահը. «Փառք Ալլահին, մենք Սիրայում ենք արդեն մի քանի ամիս շարունակ: Մենք դիմում ենք Թուրքիայի ժողովրդին: Օվ, մուսուլմաններ, մենք ձեզանից օգնություն ենք պահանջում հանուն Բարձրյալի: Խնդրում եմ, մի նստեք ձեռքներդ ծալած: Այսօր եկել է մուսուլմանական պետություն հաստատելու ժամանակը: Եթե մենք պարտություն կրենք այժմ, ապա այդ պարտությունը հավերժ կլինի: Իսկ եթե մենք հաղթենք, ապա այդ հաղթանակը հավերժ կլինի: Այստեղ սպանում են մուսուլմաններին, կտտանքների են ենթարկում նրանց, վերացնում են երեխաներին: Այստեղ, ինչպես գիտեք, 2 ամիս առաջ սպանեցին 800 մուսուլմանների, այդ թվում՝ տղամարդկանց, կանանց եւ երեխաների: Մինչեւ ե՞րբ պետք է հենց այնպես նստեք: Չենք հասկանում: Մենք դիմում ենք այն եղբայրներին, ովքեր անկեղծ են Բարձրյալի հետ: Այստեղ չկա այնպիսի ռազմական գործողություն, որոնց մենք չմիանանք: Այդ իսկ պատճառով, փառք Ալլահին, շատ ուղիներ արդեն բացվել են եւ վերանվաճված են շատ վայրեր: Օվ, մուսուլման եղբայրներ, թող Աստված ձեզ օգնի: Մի մոռացեք մեր մասին ձեր դուայում»:

Նույն ուղերձում ամիր ՍեյֆուԼլյահը դիմեց ադրբեջանական ջամաատին. «ԱլխամդուլիԼլահ, այսօր մենք ջիհադ ենք կատարում Սիրայում: ԱլխամդուլիԼլահ, մենք վերանվաճել ենք այս հողերը Ալլահի թողտվությամբ եւ Նա մեզ նվիրել է այս հողերը: Ահա սրանք այն վայրերն են, որ դուք տեսնում եք: Առջեւում դեռեւս կա բանտը եւ մեր մտադրությունն է այդ վայրի գրավումն է: Այնտեղ գտնվում են գերյալ մահմեդականներ, եւ ինչպես ասում են ոմանք, նրանց թիվը հասնում է մինչեւ 7500-ի: Այդ բանտարկայլներին մենք նույնպես կազատագրենք, ինշաԼլահ: Իսկ թե ո՞վ եւ ինչի՞ համար է բռնվել, կդատենք Շարիայի օրենքներով, ինշաԼլյահ: Փառք Ալլահին, մեր մտադրությունն է կռվել այն բանի համար, որպեսզի Ալլահի խոսքը վեր լինի ամեն ինչից, իսկ անհավատների խոսքը՝ իջեցնել: Թող Ալլահ բարաքաթ տա բոլոր մոջահեդներին, ովքեր մարտի են դուրս եկել, եւ նրանց հաղթանակ տա»:

Հուլիսի սկզբում մահմեդական եղբայրներին նոր տեսաուղերձով դիմեցին «Կովկասի էմիրաթների» ջամաատների ամիրները՝ հերթական անգամ հիշեցնելով Սիրայում մուսուլմանների վիճակի ու ջիհադի կարեւորության մասին, ամոթանք տալով անտարբեր մնացող մահմեդականներին եւ կոչ անելով ռամադանին ընդառաջ, Ալլահի հրամանով միանալ ջիհադին, գլխատել-մորթել կաֆիրներին (անհավատներին), օգնել իրենց ու Շամին եւ հաստատել Սիրական խալիֆաթ, այլապե ուշ կլինի, ինչպես նաեւ՝ կատարել Ալլահի կամքը, որտեղ առաջին տեղում ոչ թե իսլամի մասին գիտելիքի կարիքն է, այլեւ ջիհադը՝ իսլամի բարձրագույն աստիճանը, եւ Ալլահի առջեւ պարտքը կատարելը կամ դրան նյութապես օգնելը:

Վերոնշյալ ուղերձների մեջբերումն էական է ցույց տալու համար, թե ադրբեջանցիների, հյուսիսկովկացիների հավաքագրման գործընթացում ինչպես է խաղարկվում «հողերի ազատագրման» գաղափարը, որը, օրինակ, Ադրբեջանում տասնամյակներով պետական քարոզչությամբ սերմանվում ու սնուցվում է «Ադրբեջանի բնիկ հողերը հանդիսացող Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի» վերանվաճման, կամ Ղրմում ու Հյուսիսային Կովկասում՝ անկախացման եւ ռուսական լծից ազատագրման համատեքստում: «Հողի պաշտամունքը» էական տեղ է զբաղեցնում հավաքագրման մեխանիզմում եւ պատահական չէ հենց այդ տարածաշրջաններից մոջահեդների թվի բազմապատկումը տարվա ընթացքում: Առավել եւս, երբ նրանց խմբավորումները ռազմական գործողություններ էին վարում Լաթակիայի, Հալեպի պրովինցիաներում, որտեղ բնակվող հայ, ալեւի եւ այլ «անհավատ» փոքրամասնությունները ոչ միայն պաշտպանում էին Ասադի վարչախմբին, այլեւ հարմար թիրախ էին վրեժխնդրության, անհավատներին վերացնելու միջոցով շահիդ դառնալու ու հերոսանալու համար:

Պատահական չէ նաեւ, որ հենց 2013-ի սկսյալ ուժգնացավ սիրիական քաղաքացիական պատերազմի կրոնական ասպեկտը: Դրա վկայությունը ոչ միայն 2013-ի գարնանն ու ամռանը հնչած ուղերձներն էին ընդդեմ «անհավատների», այլեւ քրիստոնյաների ու այլ կրոնական ուղղությունների դավանողների կատարյալ ջարդերը Սիրիայում, քրիստոնեական, այդ թվում՝ հայկական եկեղեցիների վրա արյունալի հարձակումները: Իսկ ահաբեկչական այդ խմբավորման զորավարը՝ ամիր ՍեյֆուԼլյահը դա չէր էլ թաքցրել իր հունիսյան ուղերձում. «Մենք Ալլահի թողտվությամբ ոչնչացնում ենք նրանց, ովքեր կռվում են Նրա կրոնի դեմ: Մի մոռացեք մեզ համար դուա կատարել: Եւ հանուն Բարձրյալի մենք կշարունակենք մեր ջիհադը մինչեւ այնքան ժամանակ, քանի դեռ Ալլահի խոսքը չի իշխի եւ կաֆիրը (անհավատը) չի անհայտանա երկրի երեսից, ԻնշաաԼլահ: Մենք, մուսուլմաններս, այստեղ ենք եկել, որպեսզի հռչակենք Ալլահի Խոսքը: Եւ քանի դեռ դա չի լինի, կռիվը կշարունակվի քրիստոնյաների, հուդայականների, մուշրիկների, մուրտադների դեմ: Մենք ոչ մեկից չենք վախենում, բացի Ալլահից, բիիզնիԼլահ: Նրանք, ովքեր դուրս կգան մեր կրոնի դեմ եւ կկռվեն մեր դեմ, պետք է անհայտանան: Մենք այստեղ ենք եկել շահիդի մահ ստանալու, այլ ոչ թե դրանից խուսափելու: Արդեն քանի տարի է մենք ապրում ենք առանց խալիֆաթի: Այժմ եկել է ժամանակը վերադարձնելու այդ ամենը: Եւ մահմեդականների համար եկել է ժամանակը արթանանալու եւ օգնելու միմյանց: Դա մեկ դրոշի ներքո հավաքվելու ժամանակն է: Այսօր եկել է սթափ վիճակով մահմեդականների միավորվելու ժամանակը: Մենք ոչ մեկից չենք վախենում, բացի Ալլահը: Եւ թող անհավատները գան մեզ սպանելու: Մենք տեղից էլ իրենց ենք փնտրում, ինշԱԼԼԱՀ: Եկել է խալիֆաթի ժամանակը: Մահմեդականների միավորման ժամանակն է: Մահմեդականներ, մինչեւ ե՞րբ եք ձեռքներդ ծալած նստելու: Հայտարարելով, որ ջիհադն այստեղ է Ֆարդ-կիֆայա ֆարդ ուլ-այն, մի’ տրվեք պառակտումներին, մահմեդականներ: Արթնացե’ք, արթնացե’ք: Եկել է Շարիա հաստատելու ժամանակը: Հետեւաբար, արթնացեք, մահմեդականներ»:

2013թ.ապրիլից մինչեւ տարեվերջ այսպիսի կոչերի արդյունքները տեսանելի են. եթե տարվա կեսին խոսք էր գնում շուրջ 100 ադրբեջանցիների, ապա տարեվերջին՝ արդեն հարյուրների մասին: Ինչպես վերհանեցինք, անշուշտ, ադրբեջանցի ու այլ ազգի գրոհայինների շարքերում առկա են նաեւ վարձկաններ՝ վարձավճարի դիմաց կռվողներ: Սակայն, «հավատավոր մոջահեդների» առկայությունը նույնպես փաստ է եւ առավել մտահոգող ու վտանգավոր, ինչում բազմիցս համոզվեցինք 2013թ. ընթացքում ԱՄՆ-ում, Ռուսաստանում տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչությունների ժամանակ: Եւ եթե Հայաստանը դեռեւս բարեբախտաբար ուղղակիորեն չի բախվել ահաբեկչական ցանցերում ադրբեջանցիների ներգրավվածության վտանգին, ապա դա ամենեւին չի նշանակում, թե այդպիսի վտանգ ապագայում չի կարող լինել... Ըստ այդմ, ի՞նչ նպատակներ է հետապնդում Ալիեւի վարչախումբը ակնհայտորեն նպաստելով ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություններում ադրբեջանցիների ներգրավվածութան աճին...

Ankara, (SANA)- Turkish journalist Fateh Yashli stressed that the
government of the Development and Justice Party's cooperation with
al-Qaeda will create serious problems to Turkey.

In an article published by Turkish Yurt Newspaper, Yashli revealed
that hundreds of trucks have transferred weapons to the terrorists in
Syria with the Turkish government's support.

He added that everybody knows that about these trucks which transfer
various types of weapons and ammunition into Syria.

The Turkish journalist referred to the increasing western reports and
statements, particularly those coming from the US, that speak of the
Turkish government's support to the salafi terrorism and al-Qaeda in
Syria.

He stressed that exposing the involvement of the Turkish intelligence
in smuggling weapons into Syria under the pretext of humanitarian aid
will get Turkey embroiled in serious troubles.

Earlier, Turkish Hurriyet newspaper unveiled in its issue last
Saturday that the Turkish authorities fired a number of police
personnel who seized a truck loaded with weapons prepared to be
smuggled to Syria.

The violence against the Armenians of Syria amounts to a real crime
of genocide, according to Sergey Shakaryants, an Armenian political
analyst.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, the expert said the leading western
media are now voicing concerns in this connection.

"That's literally a genocide," he said, adding that the continuing
expulsions of Armenians from the country cannot be characterized
otherwise.

"Everybody knows the Armenians constitute the biggest Christian
community in Syria, so if those are the policies pursued, they are
evidently directed against the Armenians."

Shakaryan blamed United States, as well as France and Turkey, for
the pressures against the Syrian-Armenians. "They are at the head of
a new anti-Armenian race," he added.

BEIRUT (Reuters) - A group linked to al Qaeda, emboldened by its recent victory over rival rebels in Syria, has imposed sweeping restrictions on personal freedoms in the northern province of Raqqa as it seeks to consolidate control over the region.

Reuters obtained copies of four statements issued on Sunday by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) prohibiting music from being played in public and photographs of people being posted in shop windows.

The sale of cigarettes and shisha water pipes are banned, women must wear the niqab, or full face veil, in public and men are obliged to attend Friday prayers at a mosque.

The directives, which cite Koranic verses and Islamic teaching, are the latest evidence of ISIL's ambition to establish a Syrian state founded on radical Islamist principles.

ISIL is widely considered the most radical of the rebel groups fighting forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad, and increasingly each other, in Syria's civil war.

The first and only city to have fallen completely under rebel control, Raqqa has been held up by many ordinary Syrians as an example of what Syria might look like in a post-Assad era.

The anti-Assad Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based monitoring group with sources across the country, said ISIL was turning its attention to setting up such a state after repelling an offensive earlier this month by rival Islamists and more moderate rebels.

The Observatory said ISIL was posting the statements at mosques and other public places on Monday. The statements gave residents three days to start complying or face unspecified punishments "in accordance with sharia", or Islamic law.

The expansion of ISIL last year alarmed Western nations and helped Assad portray himself as the only secular alternative to Islamist extremism.

"ISIL was strong before in Raqqa, but now it's the only force there," said Rami Abdulrahman, head of the Observatory.

Ahrar al-Sham and the Nusra Front, two Islamist rebel factions fighting to bring down Assad's government, tried to prevent the sale of tobacco when they ruled the city briefly last year.

But ISIL emerged as the dominant player and outraged residents by carrying out executions in a public square, patrolling the streets in black masks and turning government buildings into headquarters and prisons.

The group's statements - its most extensive yet - were unlikely to face opposition given last week's expulsion of Ahrar, Nusra and other rebel factions.

ISIL had pulled out of Raqqa and other towns in northern Syria earlier this month after an Islamist rebel alliance attacked its strongholds, taking advantage of popular resentment of the group's foreign commanders, its killing of other rebels and the drive to impose a strict interpretation of Islamic law.

But ISIL regrouped, using snipers, truck-mounted commando units and suicide bombers to retake much of the lost territory.

Fighting among rebels has killed hundreds of people in the last three weeks and challenged ISIL's grip over large swathes of northern Syria.

Rival rebel factions continue to clash over territory in Aleppo and Idlib provinces, where ISIL has been weakened in the past three weeks.

The Daoud Brigade, a rebel faction composed mainly of Syrians which has pledged loyalty to ISIL, issued a statement on Monday calling for an end to fighting among rivals.

The group said it had reached a "partial solution to end the bloodshed in the eastern suburbs of Idlib" through a ceasefire with other rebels and a renewed focus on fighting the government.

The statement said the Daoud Brigade sought to expand the ceasefire to the rest of Syria, but the impact of the call was not immediately clear.

compared the terrorist acts in Syria with the massacres of the

still difficult. The first, I believe, is terrorism; the degree of
savagery and inhumanity that the terrorists have reached reminds us

He suggests that a segment of Armenians be relocated to the Armenian town of Kessab in the seaside district of Latakia. Given that its located in a government controlled zone, the town hasnt experienced the physical and monetary losses occurring elsewhere

As we can see, Kessab being in an area dominated by the Alawite Assad clan is relatively safe. But what will happen when the anti Christian, anti Armenian opposition, the Sunni islamists get control of Syria? Also remember that Kessab is a few dozen miles away from Idlib where some of the hottest clashes have been happening. Kessab is only a few miles south of the site of the Heroic Battle of Musaneri Ler/Moumtain of the Muses.

Former Official Proposes Relocation of Armenians to Kessab

Seated in a noisy Yerevan cafe, I was intently listening to an Armenian from Aleppo and a former official tell me about the plight of Armenians still residing in Syria.

I wanted to get a few facts straight and this guy knew what was going on regionally and within the Armenian community. He only had one condition that he remain anonymous.

Do you understand? The life of every Armenian is precious for me. The situation is very delicate, he said, claiming that both the government and opposition are following the movements of Armenians and the Armenian press. Every word is translated, he said, and thus his wish to remain anonymous.

Armenian community in Syria has shrunk by one-third

He said that before the war started in 2011 there were between 45,000 and 50,000 Armenians in Aleppo, 12,000-15,000 in the Qamishli region, 8,000-10,000 in Damascus, 6,000-8000 in Latakia, and lesser numbers in other towns. He told me that these figures have dropped by one-third today. Most have left, never to return. Its not fear or insecurity that has forced them to leave, but rather that theyve lost everything.

Work, getting around normally is a concern for Arabs, Armenians and Christian Arabs. First of all the former manufacturing base no longer exists because the local market, sadly, is mostly in the hands of the Turks, he said. The hundred or so Armenian entrepreneurs that once operated there have had their properties seized by the rebels, he claims.

On the other hand, sixteen state organizations have relocated to the safer Armenian neighborhoods in Aleppo. They have taken over our houses and are sitting in them. And who can you go to and say, Excuse me, what are you doing. He noted.

75% of money spent to provide assistance from Armenia is squandered

The man also claims that only 25% of the money being spent to send assistance (foodstuffs and clothing) to Syria from Armenia actually translates into tangible goods. The rest is squandered along the way.

Why are they sending rice and sugar? We have loads of rice. Everything can be found in Aleppo. I guess whoever is sending that assistance doesnt realize that if cash was sent instead, theyd be helping 500 families instead of 100.

The man tells me that cash can be sent though internal channels and spent more efficiently and for more important needs like telecommunications.

To prove his point, the man says that he can purchase one kilo of sugar in Aleppo for $1 U.S., whereas it takes $3 to get one kilo sent from Armenia. Thus, he argues that before any assistance is sent, the two sides need to communicate better and define what the real needs of the Syrian-Armenian community are.

Continuing, he says that the community in Syria actually expects diplomatic support from Armenia more than material assistance. This would include, for example, relocating Armenians internally, and then to Armenia.

He also mocks as hollow statements emanating out of Armenia that the procedure for granting RA citizenship for Syrian-Armenians has been simplified. To prove his point, he says he had to pay 50,000 AMD ($125 U.S.) to get RA passports for him and his wife on an expedited basis.

In closing, he stressed that it was vital to better coordinate and manage affairs in Armenia regarding the immediate concerns of Syrian-Armenians. Only then, he argues, can we get a better handle on what our compatriots in Syria need and how we can help.

With this aim, he proposes that a special advisory council comprised of representatives from Armenia and the diaspora be convened whose sole agenda would be the Syrian-Armenian issue.

The Kurdish autonomy in Syria is the price Turkey is paying for
Erdogan's adventurism, Director of the Oriental Studies Institute of
the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia Ruben Safrastyan said in
an interview to ArmInfo.

"It was not a coincidence that the Syrian Kurds proclaimed their
autonomy after the start of the Geneva-2 conference. They were denied
the right to attend it. So, they decided to show their position. The
Syrian Kurds are fighting against radical Islamists on the side of
Bashar Assad. And it was Assad who granted them the right to proclaim
autonomy. Now the 2.5mln Syrian Kurds are a serious factor in the
internal political struggle in Syria," Safrastyan said.

He believes that the Turkish authorities deserve this as they actively
supported the anti-Assad bands with arms and shelter. "Even more,
some of the bandits are acting on the instruction of the Turkish
special services," Safrastyan said.

He said that Turkey's geo-political goal is to dominate in the region.

"So, they need to get rid of Assad and his influential BAAS party and
to destroy his strong country. The Turkish authorities have no strength
for serious leadership, so, they decided to act as adventurers. As
a result, they have Kurdish autonomies and an army of refugees on
the border. Syria is no longer strong enough to be able to control
its border with Turkey and to protect the Turks from Kurdish PKK
fighters. As a result, Turkey is facing Kurdish autonomy near its
southern border and a threat of more active Kurdish movements in
its territory. This is the price the Turks are paying for Erdogan's
adventurism in Syria," Safrastyan said.

Armenian casualty of the Syrian civil war, was held in Aleppo.

Dikranian had died Tuesday as a result of the injury he had sustained
from a mortar shell fragment in Jdeideh district of Aleppo.

The press service of the Diocese of Aleppo of the Armenian Apostolic
Church has informed the aforesaid.

Syrian Christian leaders call on U.S. to end support for anti-Assad rebels

The Swampland.time.com presents the stories told by five top Syrian
Christian leaders about the horrors their churches are experiencing at
the hands of Islamist extremists, which are biblical in their
brutality. Excerpts of the Article are presented below:

Bishop Elias Toumeh, representative of the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of
Antioch and All the East, tells of the funeral he led ten days ago for
the headless body of one of his parishioners in Marmarita. Rev. Adeeb
Awad, vice moderator of the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and
Lebanon, explains how the rebels blew up his church and then pointed
the finger at the regime.

Bishop Armash Nalbandian, primate of the Armenian Church of Damascus,
says he received word on Facebook from a fellow bishop in Aleppo that
two congregants were traveling when opposition fighters stopped their
bus, made them present their Armenian IDs, and then took them away.
The fighters, Nalbandian recounts, returned to the fellow passengers a
few hours later with a box, which they said were cakes. Inside were
the two Armenian heads.

The bishops' stories are difficult to independently verify, and the
war's death toll goes far beyond just Christian communities in
Syria-more than 130,000 people have been killed since the fighting
began, and at least two million others have fled the country. But they
are emerging as part of a concerted push by Syrian Christians to get
the U.S. to stop its support for rebel groups fighting Syrian
president Bashar al Assad. "The US must change its politics and must
choose the way of diplomacy and dialogue, not supporting rebels and
calling them freedom fighters," says Nalbandian.

The group is the first delegation of its kind to visit Washington
since the crisis began three years ago, and its five members represent
key different Christian communities in the country. Awad, Toumeh, and
Nalbandian were joined by Rev. Riad Jarjour, Presbyterian pastor from
Homs, and Bishop Dionysius Jean Kawak, Metropolitan of the Syrian
Orthodox Church. The Westminster Institute and Barnabas Aid, two
groups that focus on religious freedom and relief for threatened faith
communities, sponsored their trip.

Given the United States' increased support for non-terrorist rebel
groups in the wake of the Assad regime's use of chemical weapons, the
religious leaders' mission is a long shot. The bishops are asking the
United States to exert pressure on countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar,
and Turkey to stop supporting and sending terrorist fighters to Syria.
"The real problem is that the strong military opposition on the ground
is a foreign opposition," Awad explains, arguing that US support of
opposition groups means support for foreign terrorist fighters. "They
are the ones killing and attacking churches and clergy and nuns and
burning houses and eating human livers and hearts and cutting heads,"
Awad says.

The Syrian Christian churches are not publicly calling for outright
support of the Assad regime. Doing so would further endanger their
followers and hurt the moral component of their case, given the
regime's alleged use of chemical weapons against civilians. Instead,
they're meeting privately with law makers, diplomats and think tanks.

The bishops' stories are similar to other grim instances of violence
against Christians during the war. Christian schools in Damascus were
shelled in November. The next month, a dozen Greek Orthodox nuns were
taken from Mar Takla Monastery in Maaloula. Rebel groups abducted two
bishops near Aleppo last April. Jesuit priestPaolo Dall'Oglio, whom
TIME wrote about in 2012 when he visited the United States on a
similar lobbying trip, has been missing and feared dead since July.

Azerbaijani terrorists in Syria confess they fight against Armenians, Russian and Iranian

Azerbaijani terrorists fighting in Syria against the governmental forces issued a statement confessing that they had come to fight against the Iranians, Armenians and Russian. As the Avropa.info site reports, they made an appeal to the Azerbaijani Muslims.

On the sites controlled by the Mujahideen the message of the Azerbaijani terrorist named Furqan Azeri, who said that his message is addressed to "the Azerbaijani Muslims who suffer under the yoke of repression, and to those who threaten the Mujahideen that are fighting against the Armenians, Iranians Russians and the tyrant Assad."

The Azerbaijani terrorist admits that the Azerbaijanis have also joined the forces fighting against Assad. He accuses Iran and Syrian-Armenians of murdering rebel-terrorists.

Note that since the beginning of 2014 Azerbaijani news agency "APA" reported about elimination of 16 terrorists from Azerbaijan in Syria.

The relationship between international terrorist groups and Azerbaijan originated in the early 1990s. That time, the Azerbaijani army, having failed in the aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), retreated with losses. Trying to save the situation, the Azerbaijani leadership, headed by Heydar Aliyev attracted to the war against the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh international terrorists and members of radical groups from Afghanistan (groupings of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar), Turkey ("Grey Wolves", etc.), Chechnya (groupings Basayev and Raduyev etc.) and some other regions.

Despite the involvement in of thousands of foreign mercenaries and terrorists in the Azerbaijani army during the war, the Azerbaijani aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh Republic failed, and the Baku authorities were forced to sign an armistice with the NKR and Armenia. However, international terrorists found ties in Azerbaijan, and used them in the future. Recruitment was conducted among Azerbaijanis, who then were sent to Afghanistan and the North Caucasus, where participated in the battles against the forces of the international coalition and Russian organizations.

Previously John McCain was angered when it was pointed out "his
people" (the rebels in Syria) were actual kidnappers. Now he
embarrasses himself to the extent Lindsey Graham needs to apologize
for McCain's angry and petulant behavior.

WASHINGTON DC - Hell-bent on arming opposition forces in Syria--despite
strong evidence that they're run by Islamic terrorists--John McCain
displayed behavior unbecoming of a United States Senator during a
recent meeting with Syrian Christian leaders touring Capitol Hill.

The delegation of Syrian clergy came to Washington to raise awareness
among lawmakers of the growing crisis among the region's minority
Christian community. Christians make up about 10% of the Syrian
population and they are being targeted and ruthlessly murdered by
radical elements of the rebel forces, according to the visiting church
officials. They say the media and human rights groups in the west have
been largely silent on the ordeal of the Christians in Syria.

A number of churches have been destroyed or burned, children were
killed when rebels fired mortar rockets at an Armenian Christian
school in Damascus and countless others have been abducted by Islamic
fighters, the Syrian delegation reveals in a statementpublished by the
research group, Westminster Institute, that brought them to
Washington. Eleven nuns have also been abducted and are still in
captivity and two bishops are still missing after getting kidnapped
during a humanitarian mission.

But Senator McCain, an Arizona Republican, evidently doesn't want to
hear negative stories about the rebels he's working to arm. So he
stormed out of a closed-door meeting with the Syrian clergy officials
last week. Held in the Senate Arms Services Committee meeting room,
the reunion also included senators Lindsey Graham of South Carolina,
Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut
and Joe Manchin of West Virginia. Graham is a Republican and the rest
are Democrats.

McCain marched into the committee room yelling, according to a
high-level source that attended the meeting, and quickly stormed out.
"He was incredibly rude," the source told Judicial Watch "because he
didn't think the Syrian church leaders should even be allowed in the
room." Following the shameful tantrum McCain reentered the room and
sat briefly but refused to make eye contact with the participants,
instead ignoring them by looking down at what appeared to be random
papers.

The outburst was so embarrassing that Senator Graham, also an advocate
of U.S. military intervention in Syria, apologized for McCain's
disturbing outburst. "Graham actually apologized to the group for
McCain's behavior," according to the source, who sat through the
entire meeting. "It was truly unbelievable."

Not really, for those familiar with McCain's history on this matter.
The veteran lawmaker is enamored with a controversial young "Syria
expert," Elizabeth O'Bagy, who has managed to convince him as well as
the president and secretary of state that Syrian rebels are mostly
moderate and not terrorists. While persuading the U.S. of this, O'Bagy
concealed that she was a political director for the Syrian Emergency
Task Force (SETF), a group that advocates for Syria's rebels from
Washington D.C.

Before getting exposed by conservative media outlets, O'Bagy claimed
to be an objective analyst at a Washington D.C. think-tank that
studies military affairs when in fact she had a "reputation as the
leading expert on the armed opposition in the Syrian revolution,"
according to SETF. In September O'Bagy was abruptly fired from the
think-tank for padding her resume and McCain graciously hired her.
"Elizabeth is a talented researcher, and I have been very impressed by
her knowledge and analysis in multiple briefings over the last year,"
McCain said in a statement to the political news publication that
broke the story in late September.

Besides the fact that a Syrian Islamist group is essentially steering
U.S. policy, a number of domestic and international media outlets have
confirmed that terrorists--mainly Al Qaeda--are running opposition
forces in Syria. For instance the New York Times published a piece
that reveals Islamist rebels--including the most extreme groups in the
notorious Al Nusra Front, an Al Qaeda-aligned force--are running the
show in Syria. "The Islamist character of the opposition reflects the
main constituency of the rebellion," the story says. "Nowhere in
rebel-controlled Syria is there a secular fighting force to speak of."

Incredibly, last month an international news agency reported that
Congress secretly approved U.S. weapons flow to what officials
describe as "moderate" Syrian rebel factions. The White House refused
to comment on the back-door operation, but the story cites U.S. and
European officials who say the weapons deliveries have been funded by
the U.S. Congress, in votes behind closed doors, through the end of
government fiscal year 2014.

Syria may recognize Genocide, says Armenian historian

The developments in and around Syria prompt a scenario of a possible
recognition of the Armenian Genocide by that country, according to a
historian.

At a news conference on Saturday, Gevorg Melkonyan, a history
professor at the Yerevan State University, said the country is quite
likely to make such a historic move against the backdrop of Turkey's
continuing support to the Syrian opposition.

The expert noted that the Assad regime has always treated the issue
with restraint which he said may now be given up in the light of the
continuing tensions.

"No measures were allowed in relation to the Armenian Genocide; both
countries were urged to establish good-neighborly relations. But after
Turkey was involved in the processes in Syria, the Syrian authorities
began using the issue as a method of pressure against Turkey," he
added.

Noting that Turkey has problems with all its neighbors (whether
territorial or historical), Melkonyan said it is very important for
Armenia to get the maximum benefit out of that.

"Turkey has territorial claims to all its neighbors. With Syria
weakening a little, it began intervening in domestic policies. Armenia
must raise the question of genocides against other nations as well to
prove to the the European nations that Turkey does not have the
Western European set of values," he said.

In fact, the former Republican presidential candidate is so obsessed with beating the drums of war that reportedly he behaved in an ill-tempered and discourteous manner with a group of high-ranking Christian Syrian leaders, just because they were not advocating violent regime change. The church delegation had come to Washington last month seeking a peaceful resolution to the Syrian conflict and protection for Christians numbering around two million 10 percent of the countrys population.

The visiting Church leaders included Bishop Armash Nalbandian, Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Damascus, and representatives of the Presbyterian, Evangelical, Syrian Orthodox, and Greek Orthodox churches of Syria. The delegation met with members of Congress, State Department officials, U.S., NGOs, academics, religious leaders, and members of the media.

The Syrian clergymen were gratified with their Washington visit, except for their unpleasant encounter with Sen. McCain, as described by Judicial Watch:

End all military and financial aid to armed rebels;

Sen. John McCain is a prime example of how U.S. officials so often have
misjudged overseas crises, believing that the best way to bring democracy
to a country is through massive US bombing and invasion.
The Arizona Senator has been highly critical of Pres. Obama's 'arm the
rebels strategy,' urging a more direct US military intervention in Syria.
Sen. McCain does not seem to understand that toppling Pres. Bashar Al-Assad
would result in more deaths and destruction, and turn Syria into a major
hub of international terrorism. Over 30,000 Islamic Jihadists from dozens
of countries currently are fighting the Syrian government and each another
-- surely, not to bring democracy to Syria!

-- Protect the Christian minorities;
-- Protect the churches and mosques;
-- Protect religious, historical, and cultural monuments;
-- Assist in the distribution of humanitarian aid in Syria.
The website of the Syrian Armenian Committee for Urgent Relief and
Rehabilitation (SACURR) -- www.syriashdab.com -- reported that as of Sept.
30, 2013, the war caused serious harm to the Armenian community: 64
civilians murdered, 172 injured, 110 kidnapped, and 15 soldiers killed in
action. Moreover, various Armenian institutions were damaged: seven
Apostolic and three Catholic churches; 13 schools; and 10 community
centers. Close to half of 65,000 Syrian-Armenians has fled to Armenia,
Lebanon and elsewhere.
SACURR, composed of nine major Armenian social, religious and political
organizations in Syria, reported that by the end of September it had
received $1.7 million from overseas Armenian entities. Even though this is
a small fraction of the amount needed, SACURR has been able to provide
food, shelter, security, and medical and educational assistance to Syrian
Armenians, including $500,000 in tuition aid to 6,436 students in 38
schools.
Sen. McCain and other foolhardy U.S. officials would do well to heed the
wise counsel of the visiting Syrian Christian leaders. Dispatching more
weapons to Syria would only exacerbate the fighting, resulting in endless
bloodshed.
