Aleppo nowMy cousin, a 60 years of age diabetic male, has been kidnapped from his own mechanic shop in Aleppo, Syria, by the Syrian opposition. For the last five months the opposition has been targeting the Armenian Christian minority in Aleppo, Damascus, Azez, and Der Zor. They have systematically destroyed Armenian churches, Armenian schools, nursing homes, and Armenian neighborhoods.

I called my other cousin and could hear the bombs blasting at any hour of the day and night. The opposition is waging war against the Assad government, but Armenians have nothing to do with this war. Although loyal to their country's government, Armenians are also loyal to their neighbors, and humanity at large. My other cousin has been hiding in the basement of her daughter's house, in fear, with the house shaking from the

Armenian Quarter of Nor Kyooghblasts, afraid they can no longer live there. Just a day ago they blasted a huge truck in the middle of a courtyard in Aleppo, killing many innocent people. The government is not the force behind all this destruction—it is the Syrian opposition that we Americans are supporting.

In 1915 Syria opened its arms when Ottoman Turks were annihilating Armenians and throwing them out of their homes of 3,000 years. One-and-a half million Armenians were systematically annihilated, and others walked through the Arabian deserts to make it to Syria. Since 1915 Armenians have been building Aleppo, Azez, Latakia, Damascus, Kesab, Der Zor, and other parts of Syria. Armenians have their own private schools, churches, and community centers. Now in 2012, 97 years after the Genocide, Armenians are being subjected to another mass trauma of murder, destruction, ransacking, kidnapping, and torture. The Syrian opposition is backed by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey. Turkey has been selling arms to the opposition and finding any excuse to attack the border in northern Syria, which is populated by Christian minority Armenians. Turkey has taken advantage of this chaotic war situation and has destroyed the Genocide memorial and the Armenian Church in Der Zor.

The opposition also threw elderly Armenian residents out of the Armenian Elders Home in Bostam***** and turned it into their headquarters to send bombs and missiles to destroy the rest of the Armenian community. These Armenian older adults had been thrown out of their homes at the beginning of their lives by Ottoman Turks, and now, once again, at the last stage of their lives, they are being thrown out of their homes by Syrian opposition forces and Turkish criminals.

I am a humanitarian worker and President of the Meaningfulworld, a charitable organization, servicing the world in over 45 countries, and it hurts me in the core to not being able to go to Syria and help the surviving community that is in shell shock, experiencing severe trauma.

Masbah Farook, Boostan *****

Where is the UN Declaration for Human Rights? When we contacted the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, their response was that their office is in the dark and cannot help. Where is justice? What can we do to stop this madness? Why is the opposition destroying the Armenian community? If they want to lead Syria, they should oppose the Syrian government and not attack innocent Armenian people who are the Christian minority. How many times does a nation gets displaced?

Please help in any way you can, pray for the Christian Armenian minority that is innocently being targeted by the Syrian opposition, hold prayer circles, send donations to help feed our Armenian family, talk with your congressional representative, tell him or her what is REALLY going on in Syria—a totally different story than what the opposition and mainstream media are broadcasting to convince the world.

Please educate your circle of Americans and others so they will stop supporting and sponsoring the opposition.

Syrian Truth l Firstpost l Chinese Muslim separatists fighting in Syria?

Beijing: Chinese state media say Chinese Muslim separatists from the far northwestern region of Xinjiang are fighting alongside al-Qaida and other extremist groups opposed to Syria’s government.

The official newspaper Global Times reported Monday that radicals among China’s ethnic Turkic Uighur minority have been traveling to Syria since May to join the fighting. It says groups opposed to Beijing’s rule over Xinjiang have been organizing passage to Syria for their members. It cites unidentified Chinese anti-terrorism authorities.

The report could not immediately be verified. The Foreign Ministry said Monday it has noted the report and is calling for stronger international cooperation in dealing with Xinjiang groups. A variety of foreign fighters have joined in the 19-month-long Syria conflict that has killed more than 35,000 people.

Armenians kidnapped near Aleppo

Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has confirmed reports that on October 29 ten passengers of a bus traveling from Beirut to Aleppo, among them seven Armenians, have been kidnapped.

Five of the Armenian passengers have been identified, said MFA spokesman Tigran Balayan. They are: Garo Pampalian, Arsen Aroyan, Levon Zeitounian, and father and son Bashar and George Rabat.

According to reports, armed men clad in black stopped the bus owned by Zeitouni Tours, an Armenian owned tour bus company half an hour before it was scheduled to reach Aleppo on Monday. They ordered women to leave the bus, after which they beat the remaining male passengers and took them away on a van. Jirair Reisian, spokesperson for Aleppo’s Armenian Prelacy, said community leaders were working on securing the safe return of the kidnapped to Aleppo, writes the Armenian Weekly. Reisian also denied that the kidnappers have demanded ransom. Earlier reports said the kidnappers demanded that the government release 150 prisoners within three days in exchange for the kidnapped, otherwise threatening to kill all of them. Also on Monday an Armenian church was burned in Aleppo and several Syrian Armenians were feared killed or wounded in a bomb blast in capital Damascus. About four dozen Syrian Armenians have reportedly been killed since the start of the conflict in Syria in March 2011. Hundreds of an estimated 80,000 Syrian Armenian, mostly concentrated in Aleppo, have taken refuge in Armenia since fighting between government and opposition forces reached the city last July.

THE SORE LOSERS OF THE SYRIAN CRISIS

By Thierry Meyssan

November 02, 2012 "Information Clearing House" - During a recent

Round Table in Ankara, Admiral James Winnfeld, Vice-Chairman of the

U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, announced that Washington would reveal

its intentions toward Syria once the 6 November presidential

elections were over. He made it plainly understood to his Turkish

counterparts that a peace plan had already been negotiated with

Moscow, that Bashar al-Assad would remain in power and that the

Security Council would not authorize the creation of buffer zones.

For his part, Herve Ladsous, the U.N. Assistant Secretary General for

Peacekeeping Operations, announced that he was studying the possible

deployment of peacekeepers ("blue helmets") in Syria.

All regional actors are preparing for the cease-fire which will be

overseen by a U.N. force composed principally by troops of the

Collective Security Treaty Organization (Armenia, Belarus,

Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikstan). These events signify that

the United States is effectively continuing a process, begun in Iraq,

of retreat from the region and has accepted to share its influence

with Russian.

At the same time, the New York Times revealed that direct

negotiations between Washington and Iran are slated to restart even

as the United States continues its attack on Iranian monetary values.

It is becoming clear that, after 33 years of containment, Washington

is acknowledging that Teheran is an established regional power, all

the while continuing to sabotage its economy.

This new situation comes at the expense of Saudi Arabia, France,

Israel, Qatar and Turkey all of whom had placed their bets on regime

change in Damascus. This diverse coalition is now suffering divisions

between those demanding a consolation prize and those trying to

sabotage outright the process underway.

Ankara has already changed its tune. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, previously

ready for the worst, is now actively seeking reconciliation with

Teheran and Moscow. Several days after insulting the Iranians and

harrassing the Russian diplomats in his country, he is now all

smiles. He took advantage of the Organization of Economic Cooperation

in Baku to approach President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He proposed a

complex framework for discussing the Syrian crisis which would allow

Turkey and Saudi Arabia not to be left by the wayside. Careful not to

humilate the losers in the conflict, the Iranian president indicated

he was open to such an initiative.

As for Qatar, it is already seeking new horizons for its ambitions.

Emir Hamad took off on a trip to Gaza, posing as the self-appointed

protector of Hamas. He advocates the overthrow of the King of Jordan,

the transformation of the Hashemite monarchy into a Palestinian

republic and the installation in power of his proteges from the

Muslim Brotherhood.

Only Israel and France remain in the opposition camp. The new scheme

would offer a guarantee of protection to the state of Israel but it

would also alter its special status on the international scene and

end its expansionist dreams. Tel-Aviv would be relegated to being a

secondary power. France, also, would lose influence in the region,

particularly in Lebanon. Accordingly, the intelligence services of

both states have concocted an operation to collapse the

U.S.-Russia-Iran agreement which, even if it fails, would allow them

to erase the traces of their involvement in the Syrian crisis.

France started by circulating the rumor that President Bashar

al-Assad sponsored a Hezbollah plan to assassinate five Lebanese

leaders: the head of the security forces, the head commander of the

Ministry of the Interior, the Grand Mufti, the Maronite Patriarch and

former prime minister, Fouad Siniora. Then, Paris took out Michel

Samaha, who had served as liaison to the Syrian armed forces but who,

having been disgraced in Damascus, was no longer of use. This

brilliant and adept politician fell into the trap set for him by

General Wassam el-Hassan, head of the Free Syrian Army and himself a

liaison with the Salafists. Next, Paris eliminated General Wassam

el-Hassan himself, who had not only become useless in the eventual

advent of peace in Syria but also dangerous because of what he knew.

The French rumor became reality : the number one name on the list of

targets is dead and a pro-Syrian figure was arrested as he was

preparing an attack on another name on the list.

At the core of these machinations is General Puga. The former

Commander of Special Operations and Director of French Military

Intelligence was the head of the personal general staff of President

Nicolas Sarkozy and has been retained in that post by Francois

Hollande. Linked by his unconditional support for the Jewish colonial

occupation of Palestine [1] and having close connections to American

neoconservatives, he carried forward French colonial policies in the

Ivory Coast, Libya and Syria. Bypassing democratic institutions, he

determined on his own the direction of French policy in the Middle

East, despite his having no official appointment.

Ambassador Abu Saeed: Armed Groups Perpetrate Massacres against Citizens in Syria out of their Takfiri Thinking

Nov 04, 2012

MOSCOW, (SANA) - Ambassador of the International High Commission for Human Rights in the Middle East, member of the International Parliament for Safety and Peace, Haitham Abu Saeed stressed that the armed terrorist groups in Syria do not hesitate to commit massacres against citizens because that is part of their Takfiri nature of thinking.

Abu Saeed said in an interview with Russia Today TV Channel that "There is a possibility that we witness other massacres committed by the Takfiri armed groups in Syria, as this has been manifested throughout the course of their acts since the beginning of the events in Syria."

He pointed out to the heinous massacre recently committed by the armed groups in Idleb with cold blood, saying "We will prepare the required reports regarding this massacre to send them to the international bodies including the Human Rights Council, UN Secretary General and all international human rights organizations."

Abu Saeed highlighted the Commission's warning of politically exploiting people's tragedies, particularly those displaced, saying " We sensed the exploitation of this humanitarian profile by some neighboring countries to Syria, and they always bring it up to pressure Syria at the Security Council, which is unacceptable."

Earlier in an interview with the Syrian TV, the Ambassador held the countries supporting terrorism responsible for every drop of blood spilled in Syria, pointing out to the clear involvement of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey in what is happening in Syria.

Czech Website…Armed Opposition in Syria Commits War crimes 'Free Army' Militias Scorns Religions

Nov 04, 2012

PRAGUE, (SANA) – Czech Website Vlasti Glavo described as "a war crime according to the international law" the crimes repetitively committed by the armed opposition in Syria, the latest of which is the crime of executing civilians and military members in Saraqeb in Idleb.

The website pointed out that killing military captives, the injured and the sick is not only considered a crime according to the international law but also according to the Islamic law, clarifying that some armed groups linked to the so-called free army use a language that scorns and disdains religions and ethnic groups.

The Website pointed out that the countries supporting the armed groups which commit such crimes are held responsible before the International Criminal Court because the convection on establishing this court allows chasing both the perpetrators and those who allow the commission of the crimes.

In this regard, the website clarified that Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Britain and the USA are supporting the armed groups with fund and weapons, which makes them partners in the crime according to the international law.

Syrian Truth l Video l That's why they killed Mohamad Rafea

Rest in Peace Mohamad Rafea, confirmed dead today.

The martyr Mohamad Rafea was a Palestinian Syrian actor, noted for his role in the popular series Bab al-Harra. He was a proud nationalist who continued to publicly defend the Syrian government despite repeated death threats. Sadly, he was kidnapped on Friday and executed on false grounds that he was an armed shabeeh.

Only the most treacherous of people can support such a movement: traitors to their nation, traitors to justice, traitors to humanity.

Syrian Truth l Alqaeda Levant aka FSA Detonates a Car Bomb in Mazzeh 86 Targeting Families

Al Qaeda Levant aka Free Syrian Army FSA based in Turkey has detonated a car bomb in the very condensed Mazzeh 86 residential slums neighborhood, the neighborhood which hosts poorer public workers and students from Damascus University.

Even if Al Qaeda targets Syrian Army, it's a terrorist group attacking state troops, that's giving the Syrian state more justification to go after them and their enablers and financiers.

They claim they targeted a Syrian Army post, so watch for yourselves and judge, especially you in the west who are paying your tax money to fund these terrorists instead of asking your governments to look after your own welfare, healthcare, education and securing your pensions.

U.S. responds to request to issue visa waivers for Syrian Armenians

http://media.pn.am/media/issue/131/033/photo/131033.jpg

November 6, 2012 - 12:27 AMT

PanARMENIAN.Net - The U.S. Government has responded to the request of Four Prominent Armenian-American Lawyers to issue visa waivers for Syrian-Armenians.

Currently, there is no American Diplomatic presence in Syria. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) of the Department of Homeland Security has assigned a case number to the request stating: “Due to the violent upheaval and deteriorating situation in (Syria) USCIS announced that eligible Syrian nationals . . . in the United States may apply for Temporary Protected Status (TPS).”

Citing the recent burning of St. Kevork Armenian Church in Aleppo and the kidnapping of Armenians on a Beirut Aleppo bus, Vartkes Yeghiayan Esq., Former assistant director of ACTION/Peace Corps, and William Paparian Esq., Former Mayor of Pasadena, replied to the letter from USCIS : “Through our letter of October 12, 2012, which was directed to State Secretary Hillary Clinton and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, we wished to express our deep concern for the fate of the beleaguered Christian citizens of (Syria). The fighting there has engulfed large portions of the country and has made the already precarious position of Christians even more untenable. It is precisely because we feel the current legislation, including the extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to Syrian nationals, is insufficient in addressing the deteriorating humanitarian situation that we turned to the United States government.”

“It is with deep regret that we conveyed our extreme displeasure with the response of the U.S. Government to our request,” said Varkes Yeghiayan.

After the initial announcement of the request for Visa Waivers for Syrian Armenians, countless friends and family of Syrian Armenians in the United States and elsewhere have expressed their support for the U.S. Government taking favorable action to allow Syrian Armenians to come to the United States.

“We will continue to press the U.S. Government to take immediate action to alleviate the suffering of Christians in Syria and will immediately advise the Syrian Armenian community and their family and friends of further developments.” said William Paparian.

Syrian Truth l RT l Assad to RT: 'I'm not Western puppet - I have to live and die in Syria'

Oct 8,2012

In an exclusive interview with RT, Syrian President Bashar Assad said he will not leave Syria. Assad also spoke on the calls for armed foreign intervention in Syria, and the possible fallout on the country’s internal conflict and across the region.

“We are the last stronghold of secularism and stability in the region and coexistence, let’s say, it will have a domino effect that will affect the world from the Atlantic to the Pacific and you know the implication on the rest of the world,” Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad told RT in an exclusive interview that will air on Friday, November 9.

“I am not a puppet. I was not made by the West to go to the West or to any other country,” he said. “I am Syrian, I was made in Syria, I have to live in Syria and die in Syria,” Assad said during the interview.

Syria has been wracked by internal violence for the past 20 months. With the government and opposition failing to reach an agreement on a ceasefire, foreign nations are pressuring the Syrian president to step down, with some even calling for armed intervention in the war-torn country.

“I do not think the West is going [to intervene], but if they do so, nobody can tell what is next,” Assad said. “I think the price of this [foreign] invasion if it happened is going to be more than the whole world can afford.”

According to a Turkish official, Ankara has officially requested that NATO deploy Patriot missiles along the border with Syria, over fears that armed conflict could spill across the border.

The armed conflict in Syria has turned increasingly violent in recent months. Rebel forces have received significant financial, diplomatic and organizational support from countries like the US and Western-allied nations such as Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

However, the opposition has yet to overcome infighting and form a united government. The rebels’ Western allies have also become concerned by signs that radical Islamists are gaining strength and influence within the opposition.
