The Jews have already tasted the bitter taste of Turkish coffee at least TWICE since 1940. First, a ship over filled with Eastern European Jews escaping frm the Nazis was turned way from numerous Turkish ports, to soon sink in the Aegean with all aboard lost at sea. Second Jews, along with Armenians, Greeks and other minorities were assessed exhorbitant taxes by the Turkish government in the 1950's. Many Jews, unable to pay, were placed in forced labor camps and died there alongside Armenians. As long as the Israelis have no other real ally in the region they will cling to the Turks and overlook their fellow religionists/countrymen executed by the Turkish regeime.
