But if you ask me, I'd say that your cousins are racist, thats if I assume that they hate an entire group of people for just for who they are. Hating someone because they look or talk differently then you do is just plain stupid and immature. Maybe they just hate their neighbor, in that case its a different question. Your question can be best answered by your cousins. This forum is full of Armenians from all over the world and we all get along just fine. Agreed - disagreements are normal, but it's rare that folks here will dislike a certain "category" of Armenians purely as a result of their provenance. There was a thread recently about diasporan Armenians accepting Hyastancis into their communities. I only read (reasonably) positive things... Except when little there has never been any kind of discrimination against me - be it native Armenians, repatriates from Spyurq or any of the Diasporans I have met in a number of countries. Nor have I seen any discrimination against any other Armenian by an Armenian. All these groups treat each other with respect since we all are Armenians. When I was in the YSU (YePH), groups from different regions would stick together (mainly the first year) but eventually they all mingled with each other.
