Marseliatsi_M26
To: Google.com When performing a search for the word "Jew" on google.. the first result is a site that has been notorious for being anti-semitic.. the site is called jewwatch.com .... Google is the # 1 search site and the fact that The first search result would yield an anti-semetic site is all too common in a growing era of increased Anti Semetism... In order for google to remove this They would need a petition of over 50,000 requests.... Sincerely, The Undersigned http://www.petitiononline.com/rjw23 Let's sign the Petition ! Sip
You have nothing better to do than to search for the word "jew" on google?
AVO
There are more then 50,000 jews on the internet. I don't think they need the help of hyeforum members.
vava
Um. I don't think google would remove a site with a mere 50K signatures. In that case, I would think Armenians could start a petition and have the ATAA website along with dozens of other denialist websites "removed" from google. IMO this petition is a crock. Zartonk
What WE should care about is that when the word "Armenia" and/or any affiliated phrases are googled, within the first few results is an anti-Armenian website known as Tall Armenian Tale. Arpa
What WE should care about is that when the word "Armenia" and/or any affiliated phrases are googled, within the first few results is an anti-Armenian website known as Tall Armenian Tale. It is a sad commentary isn't it! It is equally sad when searching for "armenian" the first ten thousand sites will guide you to "genocide". Never to armenian culture, armenian arts, armenian literature, armenian music, armenian history...... and so on. Who is connecting the letter A to the letter G? Marseliatsi_M26
You have nothing better to do than to search for the word "jew" on google? Sip, I didn't search for the word "jew" on google. I received an email invitation to sign this petition from a French Armenian website. http://www.collectifvan.org/article.php?r=0&id=11935 In France, Jewish and Armenian organizations actively cooperate against negationism. RickJames
Why should anyone sign this? The internet is a place where all kinds of ideas can be brought into. Shouldn't everyone have the right to free speech, it is your choice whether to believe it or not.
Sip
It seems this whole "issue" is a few years old .... It just so happens that wikipedia now shows up before jewwatch I don't know which one is worse. But do check this out for the explanation of what happened: http://www.google.com/explanation.html

As to denialists of the Armenian genocide - they all work for us for free with their stupidity. I'm the last one that will stop someone from committing seppuku. AVO
Looks like karma is watching me and sent me an ANCA email with a picture of Jews calling for Foxman's firing and recognition of Armenian Genocide. I changed my mind an just voted. http://www.anca.org/assets/graphics/2007/er/090707_Foxman_Protest2.gif http://www.jewcy.com/feature/2007-07-09/fire_foxman

kakachik77
The co-founder of Google, Sergei Brin has is a Russian-Jewish guy, I am sure he can block all the anti-jewish sites if he wanted too but they are there for freedom of speech reasons I guess also to show the stupidity of some of these hate sites. Arpa
Whoever assigned us to save them? Just as- Whoever assigned them to be judge and jewry in which is a bigger tragedy the holcaust or the Arenian G? Don't we have enough problems of our own? Can we mind our own business? I mean MIND our own BUSINESS! And let them mind their own. I mean MIND THEIR OWN instead of poking their snotty noses into our business of the Big G. We will mind their business when they take their big noses out of our business. Why would we care when we have so much on our own plate? Let them take care of their business and we will attend to ours. We will petition Google when they STOP petitioning the US Congress to not acknowledge the G. Hypocrisy has limits too! Fortunately. Thanks to Mr Foxman we have seen which is bigger their mouth or their foot. Yes, yes. We know. There are many good jewish people here and elswhere. How many of them does it take to have the powers to be in TelAviv to sacrifice political expediency in favor of morality? How much difference has it made since the last 1700 years that we have claimed to be the descendants of that idiot Noah, and that we are the "lost 13th tribe of the 'chosen people'". Have we even seen a nod or a wink of acknowledgement? Do they even know or care that we exist? Or are they still using those maps that show the only way to Yerevan is via Ankara or Baku? In fact, the flight distance from TelAviv to Yerevan is much shorter than that between TelAviv and Istanbul or Baku. Do we side with those Holocuast Denialist idiots? Do we walk around with swastikas tattooed on our chests? Then, why are they siding with those other idiots who deny the AG? How would we benefit from denying the Holocaust? How do they benefit from denying the Genocide!!?? Edited September 12, 2007 by Arpa
