I did not say that I hate this kind of new Armenian music, I hate that song, and the ladies voice is horrid. And what are those people doing in the video, they look like they are having a seizure. What I am trying to say in conclusion is that specific video does not present us very well, and the lady singing is not exactly the next Sylvie Vartan. When I hear Armenians make fun of Armenian music it pisses me off, but this video is something else, I was ready to shoot myself in the head.

and u think every armenian song that comes out should represent us very well? that is not realistic, i mean, half of the songs which were posted in this thread do not represent us...even the slow ballads from arame, for instance...nothin armneian in them, but its pop culture...pop culture is an international genre...if u can incorporate armenian themes in it then good, but i find that song had an armenian theme, or an oriental theme...

if were just gona listen to armenian music that represents us well, then we'll be stuck with the old stuff everyone already listens to and there will be no progression...half the music that greeks make today is original songs that have a turkish theme, nothing greek about it, and yet these songs are well accepted, and they get worldwide recognition...

I am loving looking at these videos!

Only thing is,school is out,and my five year old runs to the computer everytime she hears an Armenian song, and then continues to talk to me through the entire video to tell me she likes it and to ask 200-300 questions as we're watching the vidoe :

I guess I'll wait till she's talking her nap :D

good points made

I really like the mixed songs..the old with the new...I adore the arts ones, luv Forsch for that reason....ok course I love the old stuff,I really enjoy them when a group like Element sings it and teenagers listen to them cause well Element is hot ;)

Wait, I just realized that the performers in this video are most of the participants from the TV show "2 Astgh", correct? They'd always finish the program with this song. At least the couple of times that I've seen the show. I think only Sirusho was missing.

I just showed the video to my sister, and she was in shock and in disbelief.

Dear Sako, I can totally relate to your feelings regarding the Armenian pop music and music videos. I guess I've come to accept that the music scene in Armenia (and the diaspora) won't change in the near future. Just try to find the type of music that you like and forget about the rest :)

I this comment is in regards the music video "tes" LOL... "and the ladies voice is horrid" The singer's name is Arsen and he is not a lady...The first lady that comes up in the music video is Nune Yesayan...:)

I am not amazed with the song either, but i respect the guy he tried to make something new...The "beat" (if i am saying correctly) was sent from Los Angeles by Benny Blanco...And what was surprising to me, the music of the song is composed by Andre :)

The singers of Armenian show biz. happily participated in the video...:)

Arsen is the host of the program on H1 called "Rubikon"...

what do you guys think of Andre?

I think he's a valid pop singer. I like the path he takes the Armenian pop music. The farther from mugham, the better for us.

As far as looks and style, he's too metrosexual for my taste :P

And regarding the music video "Sone Le-Le": I like the music, but don't get why it's not filmed in Armenia. What's the point?
