i personnaly like that song, i find the music video ok, but we need that kind of music, enough with the remakes, and enough with the stupid ballads and jazzy songs...someone would think armenia's in depression if they listen to our music...we gotta realize that fast music isnt just for weddings, we have no good dance music to play in clubs, like greeks and turks and arabs do..."tes" is a good one...

as for ur post, i see where ur coming from, but ur post is filled with hypocritic remarks such as:

first...sako"p a s h a" is turkish, and refers to turkish men...

"menk hyenk.." and a few words later "DUMBO music"...and u say "meze hamar asank panner chee vayler"? but its ok to say dumbo music right?

i know my remarks might seem irrelevant, but what im tryin to point out, is that the music video of "tes" is in no ways non-armenian, so we cant say that its embarrassing for us or that it makes us less armenian...but our words and language used in a non-appropriate fashion CAN make us less armenian...

That was by far the stupidest video I have ever seen in my life involving the Armenian language. I wish that I will never have to sit through that again. I might go crazy if I ever see it again.

I thought that video was cute...you know it's really ok if there are Armenian songs that are light and fun and young, they dont' all have to be classics...jeeeeeeeeeeeez :D

why can't we have all types of muisc/songs for all types of people?

can you honestly listen to only one type of music all the time?

just to clarify, this post is titled Armenian Music Videos...so why don't we share videos we like instead of making this a music critique thread?

there are lots of Armenians who don't live in Glendale and aren't exposed to the same Armenian events/music etc that we are exposed to on a daily basis ...

I kind of liked Marals song. We all need a little humor in our lives. And for hayemyes two remixed songs for the clubs.

Dzax Harout - Sassouni Orrore (DJ Delirious House Mix)

Paul Baghdadlian Harsntzou (DJ Delirious Reggaeton Mix)

I did not say that I hate this kind of new Armenian music, I hate that song, and the ladies voice is horrid. And what are those people doing in the video, they look like they are having a seizure. What I am trying to say in conclusion is that specific video does not present us very well, and the lady singing is not exactly the next Sylvie Vartan. When I hear Armenians make fun of Armenian music it pisses me off, but this video is something else, I was ready to shoot myself in the head.

The Basha is something that I have been called as a nickname since I have been a little Kid. People in town even differenciate me with the Basha if there is another Sako who is also as tall as I am, or to call me it just for fun. It is something that is just in a way dear to me. I know it is Turkish and all, but Egyptians still use the Basha. I in my own imagination when I was a kid thought of myself as a Basha, my Grandpa's Grandpa who died in the 1950's or 1940's new the king of Egypt, I even have a picture of him with his Fez and all, and in this picture you see a gold chain and on the end of the chain hidden is a Gold watch from the king of Egypt. This Grandpa lived to a 110 and for one reason or another I always felt a connection to him.

I hope this clears it up for you guys.
