Doesn't anyone here speak Western Armenian?

I'm Bolsahye and I can't understand you people! It's not Tsmer Papik, it's Gakhant Baba! GAKHANT BABA!

Anyway, all of the Armenian posts, or most of them, are in Eastern Armenian. No Bolsetsis or possibly from Gibros here?

I have heard that Western Armenian will die before Eastern.. makes sense.

Wh00t,

Feel free to post in Western Armenian, if/when you want. Pretty much all of us who understand Eastern Armenian, can understand, speak and write Western Armenian, too.

hey,

i can speak very informal Eastern Armenian, very formal Eastern Armenian, and i'm good at Western Armenian as well.

both of my grandpas were from Yedesia (Urfa), and my grandmas are originally from Eastern Armenia. isn't fun.

so, i don't have any problem with anything.

Are the dialects so disimilar you don't understand between them? I suposse there are some words that are so dissimilar it sounds like a different language!

Does anyone know where to find instructional language tapes in the NorthWestern Syria dialect of Western Armenian? Stella Makasian Boy wrote a

textbook for this dialect of Armenian

in the early 1980s or 1977 but there

were no language tapes developed.

Thank you for your assistance.
