wh00t
I'm Bolsahye and I can't understand you people! It's not Tsmer Papik, it's Gakhant Baba! GAKHANT BABA! Anyway, all of the Armenian posts, or most of them, are in Eastern Armenian. No Bolsetsis or possibly from Gibros here? I have heard that Western Armenian will die before Eastern.. makes sense. gamavor
Who cares Wh00t and what is the difference? Tsmer Papik was the surrogate for St. Nicholas adopted in all communist countries, while Gaghant Baba is half turkish, half I don't know what... wh00t
gamavor, that Tsmer Papik / Gakhant Baba thing was just a joke and something I found amusing when looking through a Western/Eastern Armenian dictionary.
MJ
Wh00t, Feel free to post in Western Armenian, if/when you want. Pretty much all of us who understand Eastern Armenian, can understand, speak and write Western Armenian, too. Stella Makasian Boy wrote a textbook for this dialect of Armenianin the early 1980s or 1977 but therewere no language tapes developed.Thank you for your assistance. MJ
I am only aware of a publication on North-Western Syria's South-Eastern corner's Northern Town's Souther Quarter's Commercial district's slang. Le me know if it is of interest...
