its south, Vayq region, Jermuk, Grave of poet Paruyr sevak and the church is in 2nd bigest village in Armenia called MARISHKA" named after the Russian generals remark when he addresses in Russian to an Armenian kid, what a beautiful toddler (marishka) this is.

the village is where our Ara Abrahakian was born, and he was there during easter along with 40 guests from Moscow, and the church is a gift to the village.

few words about the people in this village

they are all blue eyed, blondish with red cheeks, i couldn't get enough of them by just looking

I have some footage which i took from 2 old Lady's at the church, the church was emthy during easter Sunday, only few came, i asked for the reason and the answer was

most of the villagers are still pagan worshipers in here, behind me, and high up on the mountain there is still a temple, a pilgrimage these people go often, apparently they were all up there on that Sunday

they spoke in unique dialect which many wouldn't understand unless you pay very close attention to it.

there is more to this region something very mysterious, I'm going back in October this time for longer stay

Didn't know there were pagans left in Armenia. Maybe there has been a revival?

Good to hear that there still are some sane Armenians left who don’t subscribe to the myths of Passover/passekh/paque/pascal/pahq/պաք/զատիկ/յարութիւն, and all the other alien mythologies of the Only Begotten Son/Miatsin/Միածին, and where He may have descended ..Ejmiatsin/Էջմիածին. Why do Armenians still believe that the “Only Begotten/Միածին/Miatsin” has descended when the rest of the world is still waiting for the “Second Coming”?

Mythologies?

Why is not our own mythologies of Aramazd(Joseph), Anahit(Maryam) and Vahagn, who was born of water (Holy Spirit)and immaculate conception as well any better than those of Abraham, Moses, David and Hisus?
