DominO123
You know what individual in history has most in common with Saddam? Ataturk supressed revolts in a very harsh way, getting his statues everywhere, assimilated the opposing side etc. The similarities are striking, very striking. phantom22
Blair will soon be gone from his post and 2007 will be a VERY bad year for Bush. Me, the Hye Forum village idiot, predicted a few years ago that he would be removed from office. When the investigations begin this Thursday there will be no stopping it, even if the Democratic leadership tries very hard not to let the process begin. When the American public learns the depth of the corruption of this administration, the Democratic leadership will be hounded by the American public to send Bush to a well-deserved early retirement in Crawford, Texas. Remember the nice Turkish lady who revealed that Hastert was being bribed by the Turkish government? Only the tip of the ICEBERG! Let's hope 2007 is a bad year for two of the remaining ones - George Bush and Tony Blair. Edited January 3, 2007 by phantom22
neko
When the investigations begin this Thursday there will be no stopping it, even if the Democratic leadership tries very hard not to let the process begin. When the American public learns the depth of the corruption of this administration, the Democratic leadership will be hounded by the American public to send Bush to a well-deserved early retirement in Crawford, Texas. Though, what punishment is that, given the chaos that has been caused and number of people who have died as a result of his policies? I suspect there may be some self-interest behind Bush's lavish praise for recently deceased former-president Ford. Ford's most memorable "achievement" was pardoning the criminal activities of Nixon. Maybe Bush hopes for a like-minded successor who will also pardon him. But I don't think he has anything to wory about - whatever their party alliegence, the powerful always look after their own. Error 404
Interesting, they have executed him for killing 147 shia villagers and now they have dropped genocide case (100000 kurds) against him. Sounds like it was planned ahead. Now kurds can't make any claims.

Sounds like it was planned ahead. Now kurds can't make any claims. what's interesting is that his defense attorney's claimed that several of the claimed 147 are still alive today. Neither here nor there given the mass attrocities this guy has done. Seems that his death has sparked a surge in support of saddam as a martar. annannimusss
The pick that was banned,I read about it and it is very graphic.I am glad that it was banned because it would give me horrible dreams thinking about how it looks.I have only seen the edited version of the execution where the screen goes black when they drop him to be hanged I have to say after hearing and seeing these things,I am against corporal punishment and I would rather have a person rot in jail.
