bterzian Posted July 26, 2006 Report Share Posted July 26, 2006 Butchery copyright @ 2005 Brenda Terzian With crow bars, pickaxes, and intentions to hack Against the innocents they did start attack Tanners and butchers they did go too far Breaking down doors yelling ‘Allahu Akbar’ Against the Christians they made their stand Meat cleavers and clubs in their hands Not a thing could slow them or sway Until their prayer calls came at midday They prayed on their knees pausing the killing Jumped on their feet to continue blood spilling Bringing to many a dreadful fright With barbaric deeds ‘til late at night Unless unable to get in the house Then to it a fire they did arouse Brought about this violent condition Because of intolerance of another’s religion The fanatics had a one-tract mind The only solution they could find By the time it was over many paid the price They had become human sacrifice (excerpt from, “Warrior Poet Verses : Aram the Great” , page 35 , by Brenda Terzian ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
