Hye Ishkhan
How many of you are/have been in AYF? I'm considering joining the local chapter with a friend of mine just to learn more about the Armenian history and meet othe Armenians who are as passionate about their culture and supporting Karabagh and Armenia as I am.. Takoush
Iskhan, Being a past member I say if not anything, you will meet and befriend young Armenians and will strengthen your pride and tradition. Not only that; but you will form and reinforce your orator and speech giving skills, how and where you stand among and within your society. Basically you'll learn better social skills, speech writing and giving skills, and if you show a great deal of dedication (work) and interest, you will end up being a leader yourself and you'll learn how to lead and form meetings, committees, etc. It will be useful in your future and for your learning skills. I was also a past member and I look back with great memories, friendships and I have also learned a good deal from them.
