MosJan
Turkey Sets Three Conditions to Armenia 12.04.2006 23:41 GMT+04:00 Print version Send to mail In Russian In Armenian /PanARMENIAN.Net/ Without the fulfillment of Turkey’s three fundamental demands by Armenia any development of ties between the two states is out of the question, head of the Turkish delegation to the PACE Murat Mercan stated in Strasbourg. According to the Turkish parliamentarian the conditions are as follows: settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict admissible for both parties; Armenia’s positive reply to Turkey’s proposal on the Armenian Genocide issue; recognition of the present borders with Turkey on the basis of the Kars agreement of 1921 by Yerevan. “Without fulfillment of these conditions it’s no sense speaking of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations,” Merjan said emphasizing the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border also depends on the proper fulfillment of the above mentioned conditions, reported Trend news agency. phantom22
The Treaty of Lausanne was signed by the Soviet leadership. The Repulic of Armenia is not bound to the acquiescence of those signatories. The fact that the massacres were organized by "The Triumvirate "is well established. No nation should be expectedto agree to a lie. As for Artsakh, how does that differ from the lands that the Turks agined at the time of the Turkish conquests. Artsakh was won fair and square. What is Baku willing to give up to bring Artsakh uner its jurisdiction?
Arpa
Bullly to the big bully on the block again. This only shows how worried they are in re Armenian demands and positions. It only shows we are in the right otherwise they could just wave a finger dismiss the whole thing.

Are they trying to be sarcastic? THEY are placing conditions? Here is my conditions. Turkey recognize the decision taken by the Armenians of 'Karabakh.' Turkey recognize the genocide WITHOUT BUT's... Armenian compagnies have full access to the Sea and Turkish frontiers without paying tax on the products ins and outs. The names of the Streets, libraries, schools etc. who were called after war criminals are replaced by what Armenians decide they should be called. Turkey build the largest Armenian genocide monument on Earth with a Genocide Museum. It appologies for all those years of denial. They destroy the monuments of supposed genocides perpetrated by Armenians. They pass a cricular order firing all those morons hired to deny the Armenian genocide. April 24 becomes a national mourning day when schools and public places as well as private are closed. Armenians living in Turkey get tax exemptions as well as Diasporans that may decide to return. Ani and every Armenian monuments are taken care of, by the republic of Armenia but financed by Turkey. Of course the opening of the border. Here are some of the conditions. gamavor
My only condition to every living Turk on planet Earth is much simpler. Dear Turk, Go to the kitchen; grab the sharpest, biggest and longest knife from the Chinese knife's set in your kitchen. Point the sharp edge of the knife to your stomach and strike! Believe me, this will be the most humanistic act you ever have done! Yours Truly Gamavor

phantom22
Gams and Anahid, For your information there is a Turk on trial in Turkey, Murat Belge, who may have to spend time in prison for standing up for the Armenian ause. Taner Akcam will be conducting seminars on the Armenian Genocide soon. Turks walked through Grey Wolves bombarding them with eggs to attend a university seminar recently in Istambul. Fatima Gocek and others teach the Armenian genocide in US colleges. Do you also want these people to knife themselves? Please, let's cut out this teenager talk. We are all too old for that.
