Dave Posted July 31, 2005 Report Share Posted July 31, 2005 Azerbaijan Proposes Monitoring Of Historic Monuments in Occupied Land Baku Today / Assa Irada 30/07/2005 10:51 The Organization for Protection of Historic and Cultural Monuments in the Occupied Azerbaijani Territories has proposed to hold a monitoring of the monuments jointly with international organizations. The move aims to put an end to the destruction of historical, cultural and archeological monuments by aggressor Armenia in the occupied areas, chairman of the organization Faig Ismayilov told an international conference in Baku on Friday. Ismayilov said his organization has passed an appeal to international organizations as well as Azerbaijani government bodies, the public and socio-political organizations. The appeal points out that Armenia has occupied 20% of Azerbaijan’s territory and about one million people have become refugees and internally displaced persons as a result of the Armenian aggression. “Armenia has caused serious damage to the history and culture of Azerbaijan, as it ignores international conventions and other legal acts. This country has destroyed historical and cultural monuments, claiming most of them and carrying out illegal excavations in the occupied areas,” the document reads. The appeal also stresses that the cemeteries and graves of Azerbaijanis have been leveled by Armenians in the occupied territories. I thought the Armenian khatchkars of Nakhichevan were destroyed, not the ''cemetaries and graves of Azerbaijanis''! Artsakh preserves the Azeri mosque... The Azerbaijanis have nothing to worry about. They take the bones sitting in the farm fields that every old Turk knows are those of "Ermeni" and claim that they are of massacred Turks. They know what the Turks and themseves are doing to Armenian cultural relics, so they turn around and claim that the Armenians are doing it to them. It is the same game. Who is supporting these bastards in the US? Who is supporting these bastards in Europe? Vote them out of office! As everyone knows Cheini is a Turk lover and of course Bush followed as well as the Brittons. But the rest of Europe is another matter. Thank God Europeans have more mores and ethics and they know who's who and what's what; like the lovely new Pope and the French and also the Germans, I hear they're all on our side, thank goodness. About the Azeris claiming such craziness about Armenians digging cemeteries. I have to lough aloud HA HA HA! Who do they think we are the SICK TURKS OR THE SICK AZERIS? We are a people of constructive nature, we don't dig out bones or cemeteries like them, yet we construct and build cities, unlike them, lazy bastards!
