sev-mard Posted March 14, 2005 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 here is one thing i never understood. like for miss america or miss armenia, there are so many pretty girls that i c, far prettier than those nominated, so i wonder, how/why in the hell are those ppl not considered. i mean if it is really miss armenia, we should have one of our stunning armenian ladies go up there are steal the whole night. why do we nominate lower classmen when there are truely beauties among us? style_images/master/snapback.png Well like anything else, those "aveli sirun" people have to want to be in pagents, have the money, resources, sponsorships, etc. So it's not always a perfect match. I'm sure it's a lot of "drama" and politics involved with pagentry and maybe the prettier girls are somewhere else. And why does Miss Armenia look like she has had a shertoonk job? Shermine is attractive, but I suspect the fact that she is of Persian extraction tipped the scales in her favor. When the "before" photos of the beautiful wife were found, the kid looked just like the "before" wife. There are some excellent plastic surgeons in LA, including a few Armenians in the top ranks. Lyusya is actually, 3/4th Armenian, 1/4th Russian. I don't want to start a discussion of our ethnic makeup in this thread. There are some threads about this in history section. Although, you can never be sure... I haven't seen them for long time now. I am just telling my imperssions of many years of "harevanutyun" with their family.
