Did I miss this? did you change it? Feel free to use it (or any other of my pics) in any way you want! I'd be honored!

Edit: Holy CRAP! I just saw it. I didn't even notice it there the last few times I checked your site. Very cool

Please dont send the money to Edward. Armat will never see that money. If you want to make sure Rubo gets the money please make checks payable to Charlie Ash, actually he likes to be called C Ash and send them to me and I will make sure that the money goes to the right person.

Ruben,

Thank you! I'll let people know.

I wish you all the luck you deserve!

Next step: make the site as visible as possible. It's not necessarily about selling; most of all, it's about making more future works a reality!

Ruben jan, now we are talking business :)

About bringing traffic to your site - first of all submit to all major search engines. But your site is not optimized for search engines, there are very basic things that you should fix. Your home page's title is "Home" - not good for search engines. When you submit your website to Google, it will be listed with the title "Home", you don't want to do that. You should change it to something descriptive, like "Art gallery of Ruben Sahakian, paintings for sale", or something else. When people search on Google for using "paintings for sale" your site will come up. If you leave the title as "Home" your site will come up if people search for the word "home".

Anyways, I believe the link provided by Siamanto has all the search engine optimization tips (though I didn't check that one particularly, there are many resources like that). You should definitely change the titles of all your pages correspondingly. The more keywords you use in your title (as well as page texts) the better chances your website will have to be found on search engines. So, for your price list page the current title is "price list", you should change it to something with more important keywords, for example "Price List of Ruben Sahakian's paintings and drawings". I think you get the point now, all your pages should be like that. (BTW, your statement page says guestbook in the title)

Another thing you can do is create a links page and exchange links with other related websites, like other artists' sites selling paintings etc... but don't deal with link farms and don't exchange links with unrelated websites, they don't bring traffic anyway, and having too many links does not look good.

One minor note - why not put $ sign in front of the numbers on the price list, just in case somebody doesn't think they are British pounds or Euros.

And lastly, go ahead and fill out this form on my site, including your url http://www.armport.com/Outside/Consult/OutConsPost.jsp . That is one small step in the direction of popularizing your website ;)

I did change the titles,Thank you for the suggestions however I got real stressed since changing the titles changed everything on my local site and messed up on my remote as well.Cut the story short I deleted the entire site and published it again however I think the server is down. or I did something wrong.

Armat jan, I stand corrected... I see what the problem is. On the internet you need a start page and usually it is index.html or default.htm based on the server platform.

In your case you have names the file something really different like "Painting by Rouben.html" or something like that. you just need to rename that file to index.html and you need to change the links for home on the other pages to index.html and all will be fine

Armat jan, sorry about your problem. Maybe I have confused you. When I said the page titles, I didn't mean the html file names. I meant the title part inside your html code.
