A friend that I've known for about 7 years, was found dead in her boyfriend's appartment. At first, we all thought that she died of natural causes, but the autopsy showed that she was murdered. Obviously her boyfriend of 4 months was the first suspect, but after investigation his ex-fiance was charged with murder. She apparantely stalked her for few days before killing her and after questioning she confessed. My friend was 24 years old, and a medical student. She was a great person, and no one ever had anything bad to say about her. The murderer was a student in Wharton School in U. of Penn, and aparantly a psycho. I hate her for doing this to an innocent person, and I am hoping that she get put away for a very long time. These holidays were very difficult for me, and it's very hard for me to deal with this. This murder has been all over the news around PA & DE, and this just scares me. It brings a lot of things to perspective. It is sad, and it makes me angry to know that this was a pointless crime and there was no reason why she should be dead now. Then the "normal reaction" comes to mind. I'ld make a lousy social worker style_images/master/snapback.png Well, as we can all imagine, the family is a wreck. She left behind both parents, grandparents, brother, sister in law and a nephew. Her parents took out a restraining order againts him, and he was not at the funeral. Which I think was a good idea, because there were so many angry people there that it was dangerous for him. Obviously he feels guilty and responsible for what happened. And even though, everyone now knows that he didn't do it, her family and friends are very mad at him. I didn't know the killer, but few of my friends knew her. Everyone said that, they were in shock to find out that it was her who did it, because she didn't seem like the person who could do something like that.
