Azat
It was such a wonderful concert. He is just AMAZING. I had a great time. He has aged a bit more(82 years old now) and makes some mistakes in his songs but who the F cares. It was just incredible.

What about the concert? what did you think? it was my first time at his concert (and unfortunately the last i would guess) and i was extremely impressed with the strength of his voice... at his age... wow... i loved his interpretations and jokes at the beginning of the songs, but i was expecting a little more of that... Azat
it was my first time at his concert (and unfortunately the last i would guess) and i was extremely impressed with the strength of his voice... at his age... wow... i loved his interpretations and jokes at the beginning of the songs, but i was expecting a little more of that... you know Hrut in the old days he did that alot and he was SO much more active on stage, but as he has aged he has stopped most of the dancing and interpretations of the songs. but I do have to say that he was still incredible. I remember a concert at the Greek some 20 years ago and one on Broadway(NY) many years back and those were the most memorable concerts in my memories. Â As for the pic, that was not me. I was sitting next to my cousin and sister and friend. Next to me was a lady in black and there were no rails anywhere close. I was in orchestra 7, pretty forward, but wish I had sits at the pit. Â Harut jan we dont have to make this our last concert. I AM going to make sure I see him at least one more time in either Brazil or Argentina. You can join us bud. Â How did your folks enjoy it? Azat
anything Armenian mentioned? nope. Mention to who. 95% of the audiance was Armenian
Anoushik
It was such a wonderful concert. It really was. I'm surprised at my own reaction of seeing him live, just as the whole audience seemed a bit shocked when he walked on stage the first time. I loved the concert. The time went by so fast. It's interesting how he improved throughout the concert. At the beginning I thought the microphone wasn't clear and his voice was weak. But he improved and his voice at the end was the same powerful voice that I'm used to listening on the CDs. And somehow the microphone aslo got clear. Anyone notice it? Azat
absolutely, it seemed like half way through the 3rd song the mic problem was fixed. prior to that there seemed like it was too much base and you could hardly hear him
ED
I have been many times to that teather, mostly rock concerst which is ideal, this was the wrong hall for Aznavour, acustics was tarable, where we sat we hardly could hear clearly he is much ore sutable in royal albert concert hall, olympia, carnigi hall, Yerevan opera house and similars
Azat
the performance in Montreal was much better in terms of acoustics. I also have seen him at Carnegie Hall and that was the best. Hollywood bowl was not that good. The Greek Theatre was pretty good but not great. In terms of yesterdays concert I felt that there was too much noise from the audience and I could not believe people continued to take pictures with flash even after he asked people not to
Harut
anything Armenian mentioned? in the program booklette there were two pages full of pictures from '88 earthquake with "for you , armenia" title... showing another period in his long life... Harut
How did your folks enjoy it? they did like it a lot.. it was their first time at his concert too... they enjoyed it... but since their english is not good, plus aznavour's french accent, they did "bug" me a little to translate his comments and some songs for them... j/k... i AM gland that i went to this concert with them... Harut
i was really impressed when his voice did dominate during the 'je voyage' duet with katia, who does have a high pitched voice...

MosJan
Maral jan was he yelling at you 2 times for using the flush ?? anyone who loves Aznavur must see him in concert - seeing him in live performing adds an extra dimension to his songs - all of a saden words in the song start giving you new mining  to bad he did the same play like yesterday - on the end - the last song Yesterday wan i was young - only 1 sentence then he switch to french i love that song was looking forward to it  i say the place was %70 to %75 but in the same concert 2 of the best Armenian Singers Aznavur & Harout Pambukjyan the whole crowd stud up for Aznavur wan he entered - and almost the same round Pambukjyan wan he was looking for his place, he was shaved   for a moment i so 2 or 3 bodyguards up front - i was like OK this is Azat & the Co. but after i zoomed in it was Kerkorian's main man Alex Yemenidjian and some big time 10001 % Armeina looking dude then to the left Levon from Demq Show ........  it was good to be out of the home, to see old friends, spend time w/ the wife & Zoqanch and most of all to see the Legend him self on the stage - now i can get old and if i get old enough tell kids of my kids that i so Aznavur !!! Iren Maghtum em yerkar Aroj Kyanq
