I didn't want to start a whole new topic. I have to take either Physics or Chemistry, which one do you suggest and why?

on a serious (?) note, i think for non-science major students it is easier to study physics than chemistry... i think you can "relate" physics with "real" life eaiser than chemistry...

but than again... you might have undiscovered special feelings for amots and rest of their gang...

And chemistry if you like art and literature? I have never been good in science, so I am looking for something "less difficult" (if it's even possible with these subjects) and more interesting. Harut you work with computers all day I think and you are excellent in math, so for you either one would be pretty breezy, but I may take your advice after all. Thanks guys.

Azat, are you suggesting that if I take chemistry I will turn into a gay man? That's an idea. :)

Chemistry requires less "hard logic."

Difficulty is a vague term.

i don't think Eve is going to take a high level class, so there is no worry for "hard core" logic... not that i doubt her ability with that...

but i still think, in lower level, physics is easier to comprehand due to its topics (force, speed, energy, etc...) being more or less "in use" in daily life... you can't say the same thing for chemistry (atomic structure, molecular mass, etc...)

Does physics cover cosmos and supernatural occurances?

style_images/master/snapback.png

A typical physic courses doen't.

Astronomy and astrophysic courses obviously do cover them.

Check if they offer astronomy courses, sometimes there are optional astronomy courses offered for students that do not necessarly study in physic, astronomy etc.

Oh and, what courses of physic will you take?

Optic, electric, mechanic, thermodynamic...? If it is a physic inniciation courses, it may be a mix of optic, electric, mechanic, or simply optic and mechanic.

Do you have the title of the courses, it might give a clue.

quantum mechanics(study of ever small) & general/special theory of Relativity begins the discussion of some of the more interesting relationships to cosmos and man.

Quantum mechanic isen't included in first physic courses, but it might be in the first chimistry courses.(orbitals)

Relativity is included in optic physic courses.

I am not taking advanced physics! No way Jose! Quantum mechanics is certainly very fascinating but I would be completely lost in that match gibberish. So I'll stick to atoms for now. Thanks guys, you were a great help.

So you have your own thread where your followers can worship you eh? The cult of Ayn Rand is suddenly surpassed by the cult of Anileve.

By the way, here would have been the perfect opening line for this thread, but you ruined it and it's too late:

Well you know speaking of favorite things, I just finished my last Godiva chocolate. :(

You know it's true, their chocolate is exquisite. After tasting some of their creations it's difficult to go to fluffy mass market chocolates. However, I still feel fond of Almond M&M and occasionally Reese's Pieces. And yet I still can't bring myself to by a box for my personal indulgence. So I feed off of people's presents, that's why sometimes I feel like I am a totally traditional chick who loves flowers and chocolate.

But it could be just the love for finer things in life. Like grilled hot dogs with sour kraut....Mmmmm
