The first constructive and colourful video ctiticism post elections I've seen!... This gives hope about the regular folks in Armenia to be the first line defenders in the preservation of our coutry!

If I may ask ... how do you resolve a practical problem that involves you and yours, being attacked physically in your home to destroy you, then usurp your possessions? Without insulting, but criticising and doubting the honesty of opinion makers that are foreign funded in Armenia... is the duty by all those that uphold the health of our nation. Avo jan, Both, preferably diaspora... because this will give an opportunity to a diasporan by birth, to get aquainted with the realities in Armenia as well as have, hopefully, a beneficial input amongst the locals. I wish I had such a chance when I graduated from high school in diaspora.

To find personally a HIGH SCHOOL graduate, not a college or university internship seeker, AND SPONSOR the candidate personally as well as following details of progress and results. Who are these John Hughes types... that manage to become chief editor of ArmeniaNow news media? Public and international opinion formers? As laymen, we also can analyse his analysis in the light of his inferences and innuendos... After lathering Armenians with smooth sounding pre-ambles of, fairness, patronizing righteousness etc; his main point becomes apparent with the coup de grace that he dishes out on the unsuspecting reader. Mr. Hughes ends his analysis with the following indoctrinating imprint ..... -Armenia is not a democracy... but what's worse is the following; - his insinuation and DESTABILIZING pointers about the hoplessness of aspiring any beterment before 2013 whilst waiting for a new saviour to emerge. - As if the above was not enough, he also, at the same time, undermines the elected authorities FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS! Why does he omit the declared coalition of four parties, incl. ARF, that represent over 75% of the population? Enemies within are our most dangerous cancers in need of chemotherapy.

Thanks for agreeing... same here, for what's left above! The IDEA suggested was to personally find a candidate and sponsor said student who wishes to continue post High School education in Armenia or Artsakh. NOT AN APPEAL OR PROMOTION FOR CIVIL DESOBEDIENCE!

Instead of debating theoretically about what should be done, I suggest a win-win idea that could effectively contribute in all it's facets , the betterment of Armenia as well as the participent. My proposition to all forum members (those who can afford $200.00 / month for an academic year) to find and sponsor High School graduates , who wish to continue studies in one of the institutions within Armenia or Artsakh. In the long run these aspirants could become contributors in elevating the social fabric of our nation. We can then post the names of the students that have chosen to study in our homelamd.

It's amazing to witness such venom pouring out in postings to make a point... against the Armenian Authorities. If this forum was not called "Hye" I would have guessed it must have many members wishing our destruction . Under the heading of what must be done? Did I assume wrongly, that the question was put forward to generate positive suggestions for the healthy upkeep of our country? We have run the spectrum from ( how to destroy to- how to pamper) the situation since election times, according to our outlook. Which is as it should be. But why should we pretend to be naive, to overlook under the guise of freedom of expression, the outright enemity that is displayed in some of our compatriots outbursts . Words such as totalitarian... despotic... junta... pariah... etc; you'd think lengtimur is ruling Armenia, does not present a field for constructive criticism.
