Eddie's good. Here it is http://www.narek.com/EddieArnavoudian/Clas...20History" "Opening his account Yeghishe underlines the decisive importance of knowledge. Repeating the aphorism that 'death that is not understood is truly death, that which is understood is immortality', he adds that the 'evil and misfortune befalls us as a result of ill education…' Therefore it 'is better to be blind of sight that blind of mind. As the soul is greater than the body so is the mind's grasp broader than the body's.' On basis of this rationalism Yeghishe develops a verifiable framework of historical and political analysis into which he weaves in a philosophical/theological polemic against Zoroastrianism (discussed well in Henrik Kaprielian's 'History of Armenian Philosophical Thought', Vol. 1) as well fiction, poetry, hagiography, declamation and invective to create additional levels in single tale of defiance and rebellion."

We keep forgetting that the Armenian Genocide, just like the Iraq war, was a great Carpet-bagging venture, a tremendous opportunity for corporate and state level pilferage of wealth of millions of people. I would wager that each and every billionaire and millionaire in Turkish society owe their fortunes to the mass pilferage that went on particularly during the genocide. Yet, themost to gain was also among the foreign corporate entities and financial interests. The insurance scam alone would probably mean unclaimed property damage of billions. What about life insurance that has never been claimed? Our "insurance claimsters" settled for some meeaningless miniscule settlement a short while ago, but the actual amount of theft from Armenians in terms of property/land, gold, and commercial interests is staggeringly high. This is not counting the frightening number of stolen women and children. When in Incirlik I met a particular "cultural" phenomenon among the Turds that surprised even me: The criminal, if a man, was not punished, but instead his wife would be condemned to spend time in a local brothel jail and "earn her freedom," which is simply "oh so disgraceful to her husband". I would wager also that this above disugsting "law" is a leftover from good old Ottoman days where 2nd, 3rd, 4th former Christian wives were bartered for the crime.

That list was like an ARF party out to bash Armenia in every possible way. it was a forum to divide Armenians of Armenia from others. The trend to discredit everyone from Armenia by labening them as "traitors for leaving Armenia" was the ARF stance beginning in the mid 1970's. The ARF was afraid of competition in terms of community organization and leadership, and they were prophetic about their own demise in terms of controlling the community for the most part. They are now irrelevant for the most part. The Statehood itself was being mocked. As I recall, you were also one of the defenders of at least respecting the Statehood of Armenia if not the Ter Petrossyan regime and its corrupt character. By the way, where are all those self-proclaimed "heroes" of Armenians eh? Where are all those webistes promised? Where are all those "archive projects" and "chronologies" promised?

Here is what a Yezidi with the username antikurd000007 had to say to her about her apparent claim that her people are actually Kurds. "You whore, in your account there is full army of Yezids and Armenians, if you don't get enough pleasure any more from them, and want to swap it to Kurds then its your own right, but no one gave you the right to talk behalf of Yezids, who in geographical occupancy thousands of years saved their culture, religion and identity with the price of their own life's. Comparing to them, you sold your self with the exchange of rise and flour. "

Among the 150 condemned at Lausanne is an Armenian sounding name Cemal Artin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/150_personae_...ratae_of_Turkey This article of the Armenian deportees from Istambul http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenian_nota...capital_in_1915 is linked to the above article. Anyone know who this Cemal Artin was? His title is listed as "former Ziraat ve Ticaret Nazırı." What sort of title is that?

Oh, no no no, I will keep the Client-Archivist Confidentiality agreement in tact---

Armenians could not, never, ever ask for better free advertisement and live demonstration of the history of Asia Minor and Armenia. Oh, is the Rabbi in Istambul still to hug and kiss the Gray Wolves leadership upon their invitation to the synagogue? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_Wolves When loudly acclaimed while visiting an İstanbul synagogue in 1992, Alparslan Türkeş referred to the gatherers, with some humor, as the "Grey Wolves of Moses".[4] Turkish authorities accused the organization in 1981 of carrying out 694 murders in the years of 1974 to 1980.[5] It is considered as a terrorist organization by Martin A. Lee[2] and Khitij Prabha of the Indian Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses (IDSA)[6] High class indeed! With "allies" like that, Americans need terrorists?

I mean Garen Arevian. I asked him for archives. He's putting your stuff together now---

Perhaps you are not the United States and you don't see the blackout that Armenians get from the media here. Considering the media treatment of the Armenian genocide. the more coercive and legalized the measure, the better. We can't rely on the "climate" or "athmosphere" in the US to acknowledge anything, and the lack of acknowledgement leaves the default vacuum that simply is a disaster for Armenians, diplomatically, socially, economically, and especially psychologically. Armenians in general feel a sense of powerlessness and hopelessness when they are treated as personae non gratae. Talk about the gesture of finally eliminating any semblance of Ottoman elements (whch also meant taking out any and all witnesses to the Armenian genocide as a side measure), check this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/150_personae_...ratae_of_Turkey. A good old leftover from the circus at Lausanne.

I think he is, but I don't remember the username.

Oh, let me also add that snake-handling techniques are advanced in that region as well as Armenian, indicating a snake-worship past. In the Ջրառատ village in the Արմավիր Մարզ, where my wife comes from, there is a family, a entire գերդաստան, who have the peculiar habit of having the snake bite them to build immunity at an early age. All the boys in the family do this as a tradition, and they are tasked by tradition as the people who handle snakes in the region.

In my opinion they are the inheritors of an older religion of the Medes/Mar. The pre-Zoroastrian mythology outlined in the Gassa in the Avesta talks about Azhdahak as a king with a crown adorned with snakes. Our own Movses Khorenatsi says the same thing about Ashdahak, and the root of the name Ashdahak is Izh, It's not entirely improbable, considering the strong snake worship/veneration link between Աժդահակ, the root of իժ, and Yazd/Yezid, that these words all have the same root. There is a village in Iran named Marakan (in the same genitive as Armenian, "of the Mar/Mede") in the territory where the Yezidi had traditionall lived.

German, and, believe it or not, rogue elements in British intelligence, Italian weapons merchants, banking and insurance interests. There was a detailed article that I'm looking for on this.

I have a lot of good stuff from you, but I couldn't find that one. Do you remember approximately what year?

This guy is just a brainless բոզ. In the EU theatre and the Helsinki Watch circles you should watch for Antero Leitzinger. He's a historian in the Justin McCarthy vein, with a Turkish wife to boot, and is an active lobbyist for "Muslim rights." Check this article http://globalpolitician.com/articleshow.asp?ID=316&cid=2 And check this response: http://www.aina.org/guesteds/20050128130132.htm If we're the watchdogs, then please let me know if you guys have been checking this խրտվիլակ¨
