I just had a look at the pics on the source site of the alleged couple - and the husband certainly looks familiar, the pic quality is pretty low though so none of the others ring any bells - I might show the pics to my mum, she should know

hmmm....I think I will only reply to the serious posts , Stormiq, Vava - I dont have any plans of shaving my head - not untill it get really bad, then I guess I wont have a choice ....and vava, thanks for letting me know about the pill, but like yourself Im not a great fan of taking pills, so I think rogain will have to do for now and I might go see my local GP for more ideas....

hey guys, Ive lost a lot of hair over the past year and am starting to get worried. Well, I disagree. Governments/Kings/Emperors have always had the option of fielding large® armies - wether through coersion or persuasion they could always mobilise their male populations, no? They could, but who was going to feed all of them. One of the reasons why the entire male population of Western Europe did not Crusade - Im certain if modern industrial conditions existed in those days, then you would get 'total war' - but instead you have a bunch of small scale military campaigns carried out by professional soldiers.

good on you EXPAT - IMO in the short-term Armenias only means of progress is through knowledgable and openminded diasporans such us yourself moving in and making a difference (and money also helps of course ) Cheers mate.

The concept of 'total war' came about because of industrialistion not the French Revolution. Prior to industrialisation States did not have the means to support large standing armies for any period of time - but with the advert of railroads and general mechanisation of industry and agriculture this became possible, conscription followed. Case in point: World War 2 Japan was a monarchy, yet she was able to wage 'total war' because of the peoples belief in the divinity of the Emperor more than anything else.
