Armenian Genocide Monument desecrated on Holocaust Memorial Day Turkish protesters disrupt Holocaust Commemmoration The tiny Welsh Armenian community were targeted with a despicable racist attack on Holocaust Memorial Day. The new Armenian Genocide Monument(which was erected by the community in november ) was desecrated in the early hours of the morning before the ceremoniy held today to Commemmorate the Holocaust. The ornate Armenian Cross on the monument was smashed to bits by persons unknown using a hammer, which was left at the scene of the crime. One of the Welsh Armenians said:"This is our holiest shrine. Our grandparents who perished in the Genocide do not have marked graves. This is where we remember them" Eilian Williams of Wales Armenia Solidarity said . "We shall repair the cross again and again no matter how often it is desecrated. We also challange the UK government and the Turkish Embassy to condemn this attack on a peacful ethnic minority". The Holocaust commemmoration was a gesture of friendship by Welsh Armenians towards the Jewish and Roma communnities Eminent Welshman Robin Gwyndaf prayed in Welsh and English. The Assembly Member Jenny Randerson called on the UK government to recognise the Armenian genocide During the Prayers for the Holocaust victims, the "Committee for the Protection of Turkish Rights" used a loud-speaker to disrupt proceedings

A street in Lyon was named in memory of Hrant Dink On January 19, on initiative of Mayor of Lyon Gerald Colomb, a street was named in memory of Hrant Dink. Pastor of the Armenian Evangelical Church Rene Levonian conveyed the gratitude of Dink’s widow Rakel. Turkish Ambassador to France Ismail Hakka Musa also attended the ceremony. However, he left immediately after the event participants referred to the 1915 events.

Do you think she will become? I guess she is a bit too young and got engaged at a very young age, she was probably attracted by the position of her father in law. I think they are eventually going to break up. I think she is a good candidate, at least she speaks English, should anyone approach and ask anything. I was just watching Armenian TV “TEZH ANKYUN” or so was called the programme. There were two guests, two Armenians , one born and grown up in New York the other born and grown up in Manchester, UK. Both guys moved to Armenia and have now settled in the country, run their own business and are rather happy to live there. They were being accused, the audience was accusing them and complaining because the two men went to Armenia with cash and were able to set up a business, something that is very hard for Armenians living in Armenia as they don’t have the initially needed money to set up business too. While discussing the issue, comments were thrown regarding spyurkahays going and buying houses and other goods in Armenia. Apparently spyurkahays buy the best houses which creates conflicts. Hayastantsis are jealous, the fact that spyurkahays go to Armenia, get the top houses and then go back to where they came from is annoying Hayastantsis a great deal. Some suggest that there should be some sort of law, spyurkahays should move to live in Armenia permanently in order to buy houses otherwise they live easy lives abroad and get what they want and people in Armenia suffer. PARSKAHAY, IRAQAHAY, SYRIAHAY, YEGIPTAHAY -HAY HAY HAY, Most importantly we are all Armenians and no matter where one was born, we all remain Armenians, (hopefully). So, I don’t understand where all this fuss and complains come from. End of the day if spyurkahays didn’t exist “akhkatutyun” in Armenia would be greater. What do you people think, should spyurkahays not be allowed to buy goods in Armenia only because they don’t live there or should they have as much rights as Armenians living in Armenia???

A black man goes to Armenia , as soon as he arrives to the airport in Armenia , he realizes he has lost his passport. He looks around and he sees an American passport in the corner of the room on the ground. He picks up the passport and it is Leonardo De Capario's passport, he thinks well it is an American passport and they are foreigners so they might not realize it is not his picture. So his turn came and he approached to the Armenian guy at the counter in immigration, he presented the passport to the guy. The Armenian guy looked at the passport and looked at the black man in amazement, then he turned to his buddy standing next to him and said " araa, ed Titanice, khordagvav te varvav???"
